Love the smart TV aspect. Sound varies greatly between network tv and Samsung tv so be prepared. Nice small remote that is solar powered so is lightweight. Overall very pleased. Still getting used to it.

Please know the Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

The colors are bright and the images are crisp. Nothing to complain concerning performance. The smart apps are super user friendly and it makes watching shows and movies a joy. My only gripe is that I usually like to watch during the evening before bed, but if you use it close to bed time then the tv makes a static clicking noise once it shuts off and can make trying to sleep very annoying. it took me a while to get used to this noise, so if you are a noise-sensitive sleeper, beware!

Thank you for your review of the Q60A TV. We appreciate you sharing your experience with hearing an odd sound coming from your TV. Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.

Also like the Samsung TV feature which provides free channels as well. Great purchase, and I also purchased the sound bar by Samsung. Love how it boosts the volume; more like a movie theater atmosphere. Also helps with TV dialogue for those who are getting on in years and starting to lose some of their midtone range. As always, Samsung is a quality product. Have these TV’s all over my house, and wouldn’t buy anything else.

Due to the paucity of 4K contents I also wanted to make sure that it also doesn't compromise picture quality when displaying standard HD contents. This set fits the bill! I was also pleasantly surprised at its excellent sound quality that is much much better than my HD sets. I haven't yet needed to use my Yamaha sound bar with it.
