This unit was an upgrade from standard LED. The TV is much brighter and the clarity is definitely an upgrade. Set up was extremely easy, as was connecting to the Internet. The remote is "solar-powered" but also charges with indoor lighting. Cool feature but the remote is small and takes a minute to learn. The on screen Menu is also confusing. Overall its a great TV and would recommend it.

Excellent but need a Soundbar!

I loved that TV but I decided to try a new type of TV. After almost 5 weeks, I can honestly say I like this TV more than my plasma. The only thing that I would say is that the speakers are poor but that can be fixed so that is why I rated it excellent! The picture after adjusting it is so realistic that you think you are looking at a live show!!

No charging cord for solar remote

I called and they said you do not charge it. Okkk there is charger cord missing. I just went and bought one. It is solar powered. Other than that it’s a great tv.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q60A QLED 4K Smart TV and for your review. The Solar Cell remote can be charged by using the solar cell or the USB-C port on the bottom of the remote. We recommend using an original Samsung charger, which is not included.

The remote control takes a bit of getting used to but to be fair it takes an amazing amount of engineering to fit so many commands into a minimal amount of buttons. It was a nice surprise that it is compatible with my existing Samsung sound bar that I purchased over ten years ago.
