Love the quality of picture and easy to set up. Remote control needs no batteries.

Have owned and used this 10+ hr/day on average for 2 years now. Love the picture quality. Nice and bright. Crisp, colorful HDR. Very thin too. However, it gets hot, especially in the lower-right corner. There are known issues with the edge lights literally burning themselves out or melting the backlight panel. My TV now has yellowish vertical banding on the right-hand side, noticeable on white screen. It seems to be getting worse. I definitely recommend turning the brightness down on these edge-lit TVs to help keep the temperature lower.

With so much info available out there it was a challenge to keep perspective when evaluating flatscreen technology on a budget. At the end of the day, despite the “professionals” hailing similar product from HiSense and TCL, I could not be more impressed by the Q60B. It took some getting used to as the Sony 85J it replaced accustomed me to gray scale as the dark of the image as opposed to the black that the Q60 affords. But, when watching true 4K HDR like “Our Planet” I am totally impressed by the range of color, contrast depth and beautiful presentation details. Samsung does a great job with their newest line up. I install flatscreens as part of my business and I’ve seen many…spend the extra few bucks and get a TV experience, not just a TV set that does 4K.

This review is not technical. Just my visual opinion. I bought this to replace an old 37" Vizio in my bedroom. I like to wander around Best Buy from time to time and said to my wife, "Ya know, we can buy a 50" TV for, like, $350" so we went. When we got to the store I told the salesperson I wanted a brand name so that kinda eliminated the really inexpensive ones. In my living room I have a top of the line 60" Samsung from about 12 years ago. So we looked at 3 levels of Samsung TVs. I work from home and have the news and business channels on all day. Pleasure watching is at night and usually in the living room. The sales person told me that if I watch "news" a lot the lowest level TV isn't great since they don't generally broadcast in 4k and the upscaling isn't great in the lowest level TV. So we ended up buying this 55" in the middle of the line up (for about $600). Took about 2 weeks of tweaking the settings till I got a picture I'm happy with. And I am happy with it! I could probably change settings depending on the input, cable, Apple TV, Netflix, etc., but I'm not interested in doing that. Anyway, when watching news I find the picture to be a bit soft, less crisp than my 12 year old living room Samsung. The news crawl is very sharp! Just not the picture. It's not bad, just not great. When I'm watching something shot in 4k like Apple TV or Netflix the picture is very excellent but not "blow me away" better than the old HD TV. All in all, a good TV but not great. And the news I watch all day looks better on my old living room Samsung

Picture quality is great. Before I mounted this on my bedroom wall, I set it up on the floor in front of my Sony OLED tv. Yes, the OLED looked better...but not five times better as the difference in price goes. I am disappointed with the sound. The sound lacks any depth and also sounds hollow. So I would highly recommend at least a soundbar if this is going to be your main tv. Now let's get to the whole claim of "works with Alexa". Yes it does, but it literally took me hours to get it somewhat functional. First off the remote that came with the tv didn't work correctly. The microphone button didn't do anything. After chatting with Samsung for over two hours the tech decided that he would be nice enough to send out a new remote. That solved the first hurdle with Alexa setup. Now getting the tv to turn on with Alexa external speaker is another challenge. When telling Alexa to turn on the tv, she has to be told to turn on the master bedroom tv. Miraculously that works. When given any other commands to control the tv, I simply refer to it as "tv." It was a long process and doesn't work seamlessly, but I have found that is the only way it works. Overall I am happy with this tv. As stated before, sound isn't the best and the Alexa integration needs some serious software updates.

I am very happy with the picture quality and built-in apps. Everything works to the quality I expect from Samsung products.

The television we purchased was wonderful! My sales person guided me to make the best fit for my wants and situation. Dumped cable, but buying a Samsung TV get you their own show list for free! You can save about $100.00 a month and not miss a thing!

I’ve really been enjoying my new tv. The display is super crisp and colors are great! Also love how slim it is and added bonus is that it comes with some great channels.

The staff at best buy was super helpful and that's why i'm giving the 4 stars. I've been happy with the purchase and it was the price point that was right for me. One thing I wasn't expecting, the picture is so clear it takes a little of that glossy magic out of the experience of watching TV... it looks almost more like a play than filmic. But that's what it's supposed to do - hyper-clear picture! Interesting experience though :)

Beautiful tv! Super slim, excellent picture quality, great features! My previous Toshiba was connected to my soundbar with Dolby ATMOS the via HDMI Arc. I thought it sounded good till I plugged it into this TV with HDMI eARC. Let me just say my soundbar was sleeping all this time! Highly recommended!

The picture quality is great, the size is perfect and it’s so sleek. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is. The user interface is easy to manoeuvre & very quick. It never hangs up. Plus lots of apps & Samsung TV is included. All in all I’m 100% satisfied with this purchase :))

Resolution is excellent. Still learned some of the features. Love the voice activation especially how easy to set a sleep timer. Screen size is perfect for wherever needed the installation. I only wish I could get the YES app but Samsung doesn’t offer it. May need to add a Roku stick.

I completely adore my 55” Samsung Q-LED TV I recently purchased from my local Best Buy in Lincoln. Being completely honest it’s a an awesome TV but it does not quite outshine the LG OLED. In hindsight I should have purchased the LG OLED to meet full demand of my gaming needs. At the same time definitely don’t regret the purchase nor would you. After I tuned and tweaked it a bit. It’s pretty close to the point I don’t feel I’m really missing out on anything. I Still recommend the Samsung QLED 100%

THE SAMSUNG 4K 608B, EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS. IT'S " FABULOUS " THE CHANELS THAT ARE AVAIL. IS AMAZING
