I think maybe if we knew with the words mant, it could’ve gone faster.

Set up is fairly easy, especially if you've set up a smart TV before. The Good/Bad: The remote has a battery that is recharged by a solar panel on the back, which means you shouldn't have to worry about batteries. However, it is very minimilistic. No numbers or letters for direct entry, very few buttons. The Bad: The interface is VERY cluttered and filled with ads and icons for things we don't want. Looked online, you cannot get rid of the sponsored icon at the front of the apps list. My adult daughter who is tech savvy could not figure out on her own how to modify the apps list (she and her kids watch a lot of Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, and Prime) in terms of adding and deleting things. I was able to figure it out but it was a pain. I much prefer the newer Sony's interface. It was also a little slow in terms of navigation.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with Samsung's Q60B TV. To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV's running the latest firmware version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
To further assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the Q60B TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60B TV under QLED 4K TVs > B Model Lineup to download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

We may try to go up to a 60" as the new tvs dont have the wide edges and we could have fit a bigger tv .
