Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70T TV and for your review. I am sorry that you are experiencing issues using voice control. To use this function, the TV must be connected to the internet. Go to Settings > General > Voice > Voice Assistant to select which Voice Assistant you would like to help control your TV (Bixby, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant)
To use the Voice Assistant, follow the instructions on the TV screen to enable the selected Voice Assistant. To enable the Settings menus for each Voice Assistant, log in each Voice Assistant.
To run your selected Voice Assistant, press and hold the button, say a command, and then release the button to run Voice Assistant. The Samsung Smart Remote may not recognize your voice when it is far away from you, turned upside down, or located in an environment with loud ambient noise. Use the Samsung Smart Remote less than 2 feet (1.5 m) from you with the remote control buttons facing upward.
If you have already set up your Voice Assistant, your issue might be with your remote. For further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

Intermittent sound cut out issues

If the audio drops out issue happens when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause.
We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.

No more floor models

I wanted to buy the brand new one but they were out of stock. So what to settle for this crap. So next time I'll be buying a brand spanking new TV not a floor model.

Looks terrible

I have spent two days calibrating, looking at all the expert sites. My TV looks either washed out or much too dark. One or the other. Not sure if I got a bad one or not but this TV has been a huge letdown. Ready to send it back, I am so frustrated. My old 43" 1080p looks better by far.

Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

Waste of money

Wall mount screwed. Rediculous

If you are looking to buy this TV and mount it then don't unless you buy the adapter for the mount. Which they don't tell you about before you purchase. Even if you purchase the suggested TV wall mount you still need to get an adapter. It doesn't mention this anywhere. If you go to Samsung.com it says that it mounts with M8 screws but they are too small and it says nothing about an adapter. I have been buying Samsung products for a long time and this is enough to get me to change. I can't even talk about the quality of the picture or anything because I can't even set the tv up.

Please understand that we do not include wall mount screws or adapters because not every wall will require the same type of hardware. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific hardware to ensure the best, most secure fit. A hardware type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting his TV insecurely.

Once it was installed the picture was not that different than our old Samsung tv. We use a sound bar so its speaker capability was not used.

Don’t Buy Samsung

It will no longer connect to sound bar. Had to use optical output to use the sound bar. This apparently is a known issue to Samsung but the refuse to fix it. Also when trying to use the ambient feature the tv won’t connect to the my network even though Netflix and other streaming services work fine

There is no threads on the back of the tv so therefore all mounting brackets will not attach. It’s 2020, I’ve been mounting Samsung on the wall for 15 years but apparently the corporation decided that this model shouldn’t have that option. Thanks, I love bringing something home opening up and realizing that it’s not like any other tv model being made in this day and age.
