Can't go wrong with Samsung or LG when it comes to 4K TV's or 8K. My only knock is the remote can be better designed

The difference between this series 8 and the more pricier 9 series is that the 9 gives the access to use the one single cable to connect to the box that controls are the wires (HDMI, optical, etc) with out that clutter of cables showing.

The wallpaper function is also very useful allowing choosing a beautiful decoration to appear on the screen for several hours when not watching a program but maybe have a non television gathering.

The reason I returned that was because the bloom was to much. I do play games and this TV has very low input lag, great HDR, I owned the Q8FN for some time and this is the most comparable I have seen

The picture with AT&T Cable is not great. The Upscaling from 720P is not great for sports/high movement, or high contrast animation. The Judder reduction and studder reduction settings will improve one broadcast, but make others worse. The sound on this TV is not great either. When watching in an 18x15 foot room, the volume blares a bit and sounds a bit like an alarm clock. The TV is also very deep. Even with a slimmer mount, it will stick out a good distance from the wall. If you watch mostly Cable TV or non-4K broadcasting. It may not be worth the price.

The best part is the downloadable artwork programmed so I don’t have to stare at an ugly TV over the fireplace!
