    The series 80 Samsung has a great picture with 240 motion rate. Highly recommended if you watch sporting events.

    I was REALLY excited and researched for MONTHS to get this TV. Got it home and the picture is good, honestly not shockingly better than the cheaper versions/brands but it's nice. DOWNSIDE, is that it has a widely known defect where the TV COMES ON BY ITSELF after you turn it off! And even better it comes on to some HORRENDOUS music station channel AND the volume goes through the roof when it comes on by itself! Spent months trying to research fixes. Now I just put up with it and hope it dies soon! Nothing like watching a nice calm movie on low volume after the kids & family go to bed only to shut if off and have it come on at TWICE the screeching volume to some HORRIBLE punk rock music that wakes up the entire house! PS, I'm actually a HUGE Samsung product customer, all of our appliaces and TV's, electronics, etc have all been Samsung... but this TV is the devil possessed and I hate it with a passion!
