    Not as advertised, picture not that clear, went from clear at times to blurry, football games had motion blur, faces weren't sharp, almost as pastel. worst part was TV turned on with no one near the remote, shut it off by remote, and turned on five minutes later by itself. Must have got a lemon, returned for credit. Used to quality of an OLED, ordered an LG OLED to replace this disaster of a TV.

    I’m somewhat satisfied with my purchase, unfortunately it doesn’t really earn a 5 star. I expected a better sound as well as a much sharper picture quality for the price.

From there, you can search for and select your Q8F TV model to view or download the available guides.

      The Remote Control Guide is also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides

      Learn TV Remote is another feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation.

      This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice.

    I was very concerned when this product needed to be replaced, I was scheduled for a replacement and after several confirmations for a replacement, no one was assigned to come to my home.

    The frame was plastic and was coming apart as it was being mounted. We returned it.

    Not buying Samsung again!

    After having contacted both Samsung and Soectrum, adding the Spectrum app to this model was nearly impossible. The Best Buy tech was able to add it using the Apple TV app. It is still not working correctly as the tv needs to be unplugged and replugged in order to get the app. Also, closed caption is not available in settings. No box being used, just streaming all.

      1. Cold boot the TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and back on.
      2. Delete and reinstall the app to clear out any potential corrupted data.
      3. Reset Smart Hub to remove any app conflicts (Settings > Support > Device Care > Reset Smart Hub).

    The Samsung 55 class Q8F smart tv has a nice simple look. The first one I received was making a high pitch noise by the output connections. I had to get a new one finally sent so hopefully this one will be better quality without issues.

    Its a great tv for the price, its a little weird to navigate the home screen and devices connected. It keeps wanting to auto switch to connected devices like gaming consoles, turning them on automatically. Could be me, but other than that great buy.

      Thank you for your review. Anynet+ controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off. If you don’t want externally connected devices to turn on/off when you turn your TV on/off, please make sure Anynet+ is disabled. To turn off Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = OFF.
