My only negative, if that is a negative, is the brightness of the picture. Since this TV is so new to me, I'm still finding my way withs all the bells and whistles.

VERY difficult problem these days without matte finish TVs... we thought. A salesman at Best Buy showed us this model and explained the display tech. It was more expensive than we originally wanted to spend, but to solve our need we tightened our belts and bought it. WHOA! This tech really works. No reflection of a sunlit back yard. You can see reflections of point lights such as bare bulbs or the sun, but at normal viewing angles it blanks out the reflections without lowering the resolution. AMAZING! Money well spent.

Very Delicate Screen, Will Easily Fail. Wont last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it as a top rated TV, but lasted only 7 months, and not covered by warranty No damaged by my wife or I (60's) and no kid's around, and mounted in a protective cabinet. TV developed a small vertical bar, and then spread. We were stunned. The Samsung technician said these type of new TV's that are thin and flexible with near zero bezel, are much more delicate, and susceptible to failure, just by even touching the edge. A $1600 TV not built to last. My wife and I wont buy a Samsung again. Very dissapointed.

Whatever model it is, it is equivalent to last year's model one lower. So, the Q90T = Q80r, etc. They are trying to shove 8k down our throats and no one wants it. There is no 4k flagship this year. Hold off on buying a TV and see what TCL, Hisense and Vizio do this year.
