Great TV set and amazing picture quality especially for a ps5 to play on. Samsung can definitely deliver. Only issue is TV can be a bit laggy when going from one app to another. I owned this TV for about a yesr and had run into issues on starting and changing the app from youtube to prime, it freezes.

Bought fist one and THOUGHT it had some dead pixels in the bottom left area and looked at the reviews and saw some other people say the same in the exact same spot spot so returned the tv and got another....... SAME THING....SAME PIXELS so took second one back only to have the staff (different ones on shift) say it was ink on the screen protector (ive never been so embarrassed)
Im posting this reviews because i see other people saying similar things about "defective" tvs, we love our new tv and i will update this reviews if something happens but so far its an excellent tv, and we really enjoy the picture
(Sorry about picture quality the lighting blows in the room the tv is in, lol ironically the reason we bought this exact model for its anti-glare)

1st tv we got had a dead pixel! And no it didn’t have a screen protector on it as I called Samsung directly after I seen the other reviews about screen protectors and I was told no screen protector. Maybe after the screen protector issues a few months ago they stopped putting them on the tv?? So we returned it for the same exact one and so far our new one is good no problems YET!! I do have to say that the “anti-reflection” isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be! That’s one thing that lead us to this tv but there’s no real noticeable difference at least for us! I just hope we don’t have more any problems because when you spend decent money on something you should have to be worried about what’s gonna go wrong with! The pictures I took aren’t the best but it’s hard to get good pics.

Purchased this TV at Best Buy, got it on the wall at home and noticed some pixels out in the bottom left corner. When I returned it, I ordered the same one since none were in stock. A week later I got my TV, hung it on the wall, and had the same pixels out as the other one. Same shape and everything. Too expensive for this to happen one time, let alone two.

Thank you for choosing the Samsung 55” QN85A and sharing your experience. Please check that you have removed the protective film covering the TV screen. It is possible that the triangle image you are reporting is imprinted on the protective film.
Please be aware that not all TVs come with a protective film. If there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a blue tab in the upper left corner. The tab will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film. If you do not have a blue tab in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen.
If you tried removing the film and only removed the blue tab, then please affix a piece of adhesive tape to where the blue tab was and try removing the film again.
If you have checked that there is no protective film and are still seeing the triangle on the screen, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG so we can further assist you.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN85A TV and for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections
2. If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Source, choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

I have had this TV about 3 weeks and I absolutely love it so far. The picture quality is unlike anything I have ever had. I find myself watching nature shows just because of the colors and scenery. I am not a tech guy but I did do some research on this item. I chose the QLED over an OLED because a good portion of our TV watching is in a well lit room in the daytime and it seems to have less glare. For my purposes this TV exceeds expectations. If there is anything to mildly complain about it would be sound quality. I was told that at purchase. I just added a Samsung sound bar and I am truly impressed with the sound. Like I said, this fits my needs and wants perfectly.

Love this 55” Samsung QLED with one exception (auto sound). This is a great TV! It was easy to set up with very good directions. The picture quality is excellent and the colors are true. The solar charged remote works well. My only gripe is the auto volume which has two preset volume levels and no other volume control. It does not work for every situation.

I have had excellent service from Samsung TV's and this one was no exception. Best picture on any TV I have owned. Stunning in 4K. I am posting this review 2 years after purchase. I was a little nervous paying this much for a new model using new technology, but I have had no issues whatsoever. Great TV!

Excellent picture quality and quick setup using my Samsung phone. I absolutely love this TV! Because it connected seamlessly with our home network, it was able to find my server where old videos are stored. We were able to watch our videos that we forgot existed! That's even more fun that being able to watch shows and movies while puttering about in the kitchen. You could say that our family is healthier because of Samsung's Neo QLED since I'm more inclined to prepare home cooked meals than ordering out.

Great tv/picture. The colors are amazing and with 4K.....WHOA!! I have noticed some issues with the sound quality, depending on the show/movie I am watching. It ranges from not being able to hear anything and having to turn up the volume super high or the sound not working at all (resulting in restarting an entire app). I purchased a the Samsung 5.1 soundbar....hoping that will do the trick (along with an optical cable). We'll know soon enough. I pickup the soundbar today. Fingers crossed I don't have to exchange this thing!! The tv covers the entire back of my SUV!! Updates coming soon.

Love the TV so far - even the sound which most reviews claim to be its weakness!
Great remote and OS, quick to learn.
We recommend you immediately turn off blur reduction/judder reduction to remove the soap opera effect.. (we turned them both down from 10 to 2)
Installation team were very professional and knew what they were doing. They accomodated our requests even though we were their last installation on a long Saturday.
