TV not check perfectly before sending to customers

I bought 1 tv Samsung 55 inch QN85A Neo QLED. Best Buy sent a new tv in the box, but when opening the box, the tv was missing a piece of plastic to cover the wire behind the tv. Best Buy replaces the TV with a new one, but the new one the screen does not have a plastic sticker to prevent dirt and scratches and the screen is full of fingerprints. Both of the new Samsung TVs that were shipped to customers in the box were badly flawed, but fortunately the screen was not scratched and the TV was still in good condition although the fingerprints on the screen were still there because of the oil, which was difficult to clean.

Here are some tips to make cleaning your TV screen easier:
- Power off your TV before cleaning. Leaving your TV off for 5-10 minutes prior to cleaning will allow the screen to cool down and prevent excessive streaking.
- Carefully wipe using a soft, dry cloth to avoid scratches
- Do not use any chemicals such as wax, benzene, alcohol, thinners, insecticide, air fresheners, lubricants, or detergents
- Do not spray water or any liquid directly onto the TV

Good But OVER Advertised TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is an Okay TV. But I haven't found really nothing groundbreaking about it. Samsung truly did over advertise this TV. It is not a VA panel it's Actually an ADS Panal. It's not a bad thing in fact IPS or ADS panels do good with lag times and since there is no viewing angle filter on this TV nothing is really getting in the way of contrast or black levels. There is still a good bit of Blooming on this TV even with 792 Zones on the 65" QN85A. I do absolutely 100% love the game mode.. BuT Calling it a gamers tv while only having one HDMI 2.1 Port is an insult. But all in all it really does have a great picture great contrast an excellent color accuracy. I don't think this TV will be good for people who just want to get it out of the box put it on a setting and leave it. But for me I like to go in and tweak picture an other settings.. I got my own customized Filmmaker mode for this TV with Adaptive picture off. The only other setting I would ever put my TV in to customize is Movie. Maybe with some firmware updates like Smoothing out the Dimming algorithm we're dimming zones actually dim instead of go either on or just off will make it better as well as Other button up Updates..

Remote stopped working suddenly

I had to utilize my Samsung warranty, and I won’t receive a replacement remote for up to 20 business days! Samsung just lost a customer.

Flawless and Stunning TV! We love it!

Playing Xbox One is especially great and I’m not even utilizing the benefits of the capabilities of this TV if I had an Xbox Series X. I bought this QN85 based on reviews of how bright it can be as we have a large window in our living room letting sunlight in. After a few days I actually had to reduce the brightness settings because it was a bit too much! Also, a few critics mention dimming being a problem. The dimming feature is actually pretty great. It’s not perfect but it’s literally a nonissue whatsoever. Even the audio isn’t bad (which is rare for flat screen TVs). We chose the QN85 over the QN90 based on the differences between them was $300 for literally nothing that is truly perceivable. You won’t regret buying this TV. We love it!

Has its flaws

I had it installed by a professional, and he didn’t have issues with the wall mount. It was a good spend of $125. The good: As an art frame, the tv looks great. I get a lot of compliments. The tv is thin and if someone isn’t really focused on it, it’d pass for actual art, well during the day. The bad: regardless of any settings or the brightness in the room, the tv will randomly get bright and then go back to normal or sometimes to a darker setting it normally doesn’t let me do. This happens with zero change in the lighting in the room and with auto brightness turned off. The smart things app you use to control it from your phone is garbage. It’s so buggy and the interface is terrible to deal with. Also, I have two televisions in close proximity, so using either remote affects the other one. Telling my echo to turn on or off my primary tv also affects this tv. I haven’t found a solution for that yet online. Makes controlling the TV’s an issue. Would I purchase again, maybe, but only when on sale. But my next primary tv won’t be a Samsung, to avoid the tv remote issue.

Amazing TV that is on par with OLED

I love this TV, I was excited about mini LED and I wasn't let down. This TV pops color even on standard settings and black colors really are deep. It definitely is up to par with OLED tvs for sure. It is definitely very bright, this was a complaint from someone else, but I don't think having a bright TV is a bad thing. It is also very thin but very durable. The smart OS is very snappy and quick!

Hands down,the best TV around.

Not being that knowledgeable about the latest TV offerings, I tried to do my due diligence. Well, I lucked out. The picture is incredible, like you have a front seat to a live show, even in black & white. I did go from a 50" to 55" screen. What a difference! There is a depth to the picture that I've never seen before. The realistic sound really does follow the picture (very disconcerting at first). My husband's is essentially deaf and his hearing aids just aren't doing the trick. He can hear most of what is going on on screen. Well worth the money.

Nice bright TV for sun lit rooms- not perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a good TV but had higher expectations. The Neo QLED continues to have two annoying issues. Have had the TV since Aug 2021. But first on the positive side - bought this Neo QLED TV mainly becasue it was supposed to have a very bright picture. Needed for a bright sun filled room and as expected the picture is great for the this room. Always bright even when the sun is at its brightest. In this way it meets the main goal For my not so good issues. I use only the internal speakers and on some of my cable channels there is a very noticiable sound delay to the picture. The cable people and Samsung point at each other - but when I put my old LG on the cable box there is perfect sync. Tried software updates and new cables et al - and still is a annoyance especially when watching some of of the sport/weather talking head shows - be aware of this potential. Issue number two is what I call "picture clouding" and is especially noticiable when watching golf. While one can see the blades of grass on this 4K Neo QLED TV - there is a very noticeable cloud around the shaft of the golf club when it is slightly moving - a noticable out of focus cloud of fuzz following the club and also the ball when it is moving. Seems like the TV can't catch up to the moving image?? It is very very noticable. If it were not for these two issues the TV would be perfect. Hoever I can't score it 5 stars becasue of these noticiable sound and picture problems.
