Great choice for a bright room
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent choice for a 4K TV. I was going to get an OLED TV but the room this TV is in is rather sunny so I decided to get a QLED TV. This is a very bright TV, but the blacks are very deep. It has a very thin bezel and the base is tall enough to place a sound bar underneath the TV. I watched a ton of YouTube reviews on this model along with many others and I'm glad I chose the Samsung. Not a big fan of the Tizen software so I'm using a Chromecast with Google TV and that works great for me. If I can ever get my hands on a PS5 I would love to see how the Game Mode works.

Fabulous picture.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace an 11 year old Samsung 1080p led tv in a family room opposite a wall of windows. My 4k comparison is a 6 year Sony 4k tv, so take that into account. This is wall-mounted with sound via a Sonos Playbar, and streaming via an Apple TV 4K. The Sonos has to connect via optical cab;e, as it’s old and doesn’t have eARC. It works well. I’m not set up for surrounds, ATMOS, etc. anyway. Picture quality is amazing. Very little screen reflection in difficult lighting. Colors are properly vivid and resolution is crystal clear. Edge to edge picture is excellent. I’m deducting one star because of repeated pop-up notifications regarding a smart things device wanting to connect. I don’t use smart things. You can’t turn that off…but you can take the tv offline, which I’ve done. There’s zero excuse for the tv to not block pop-ups, especially from a software that I don’t even use. Given that I use the Apple TV for all streaming, this isn’t an issue.

Best TV for every type or viewer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical about getting an open box TV because it might be damaged or a waste of time. This was in Excellent condition, a few scratches on the frame, but overall perfect. Saved a lot with it being open box and Labor Day Sale. This TV is the perfect TV for gamers, watching live sports, or just a movie. Clear, crisp, and clean. Easy to set up, all of the apps are right there at the bottom menu. Games are insanely realistic compared to my other 4k Samsung.

My perfect tv.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright gorgeous picture! My last tv was an Oled and developed burn in. It had a great picture too until the burn in and the colors started to go off. But with this tv, It’s not an Oled but still has the great contrast like an Oled. Love all the apps and the quick access to Netflix on the remote. I love the remote. It doesn’t need batteries since it is rechargeable (solar works too). I also like the stand. It is not the feet on each end of the tv. It’s the single stand in the middle which I think saves space on my tv console.

Worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivery guys told me to look at QN90’s when the 70 I originally ordered had to go back — it had feet and I needed a stand. Very glad to have made the switch. More depth, better peripheral viewing, excellent change from a 2012 Phillips HD. Speakers aren’t bad but I like my Zvox sound base better. I like the Samsung control — subject of complaint in some reviews — even compared with Apple TV’s product. Both work on this model which is useful.

OLED blacks and smoothness with high brightness.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV offers a stunningly detailed and “liquid” picture. It took me about a week to get to know the picture adjustments to arrive at the most lifelike images. Action is fluid and smooth. The fine detail is stunning. The smoothness of the picture is revelatory! This is not an inexpensive 55” TV but it is worth every penny. In this case you really do get what you pay for. As close as you can get to the great black levels of an OLED but with much greater brightness than the OLED can muster.

PC Users, Read My Notes - See image
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall quite satisfied. This TV was purchased for Computer use only. No Apps, no Cable TV just straight Windows use and connected to an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super graphics card via HDMI to a Denon HDMI eARC input (8K0 then routed to this TV via the lone HDMI e ARC port. This was to achieve both high resolution audio and 4k signal via the video. All was fine until opening Windows Explorer in Details mode. A repeated effect (see image/video) was unavoidable. This is not ghosting but rather when you move the mouse up or down and lag or repeated effected was visible and obstructive. I attempted to do a ShareX and OBS screen recording but this could not capture the issue. This confirmed it was monitor related. I swapped out cables several times (HDMI 2.2 with a 48 Gbps transfer speed), no help. Removed the Denon AVR from thee scenario and went PC to TV direct, no help. Spoke with numerous Samsung reps..no resolve. Best Buy did suggest using the Display port however there's no display port on the TV, only the video card. At the end of 3 weeks, I found a GAMING mode within the TV settings. Once I enabled GAMING Mode, this issue disappeared. It's incredible not one Samsung Rep offered this idea and I spoke with at least 4 possibly 5. I had one rep tell me he could solve anything on this TV set, well he didn't.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has the capability to be bright, but you can adjust it so it is not overly bright. The picture is outstanding. I spent a lot of hours watching reviews and decided on this one. I considered an OLED tv but they do not get to the level of brightness that I like. The sound is good, better than what some reviewers stated. I have no complaints with this tv. It met my expectations.

Samsung 55" QN90A QLED Tizen TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a long time Samsung owner and have always loved the picture quality of my televisions. This newest one the QN90A is the best yet! Crystal clear picture, richer colors, blacker blacks and the real life sound that travels with the picture is almost like having surround sound without the extra equipment. (I still want to get the sound bar but this is awesome the way it is). I haven't found a better picture on any other tv I've looked at.

New Class of Televison
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My TV of 4 years had a issue where it had no power going to the unit. Geek Squad Repaired it, but it only had 6 months of Coverage left on it, so I purchased the Newest Samsung Neo QLED. The brightness of this 4K TV is Outstanding. Picture quality is so much better than my old Samsung MU9000 I just had repaired. Great Deal at a Great Price! I highly recommend this Neo QLED TV Series!

Happy viewer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the quality of the picture on this TV. I am using this in a bright home with a lot of natural light pouring in and the picture is bright, clear and crisp. The details on the images are amazing. I wished I had purchased the 65 inch instead of the 55 inch for my aging eyes so may need to check about an exchange. I had the Geek Squad deliver and install the tv and they did an excellent job. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Match made in heaven.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely LOVE this tv. I bought it to go with my XBox Series X and they are a match made in heaven. I love the picture quality and the remote that comes with the TV does an amazing job of controlling the Fire Stick - may sound like a small detail but my previous TV's remote controller would not do it and so I had to keep multiple remotes around. You will not go wrong with this TV.

Samsung 55" Flat Screen TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is great. Everything looks very lifelike. I've noticed a bit of an issue with the color on PBS programs--sometimes people look as if they have a bad sunburn--but was told to give it a little bit of time before making any adjustments to the color. But all in all very happy with the TV. The picture is very bright and crisp.

QN90A REVIEW
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is sharp and clear, looks like your in an audience watching a live performance. Sound quality can be improved music comes out loud while voice is low and at times near inaudible ( this may be due to using a sound bar older than the TV though). pleased overall with the TV, easy to set up and easier to fly than my older Samsung which got moved to our finished basement.

Samsung TV Fan
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this model replacing a 10 year old Samaung flat screen TV (unmounted). Our older model was adjustable via its swivel stand, and this new model does not swivel. That's the only missing feature for this new model. Otherwise, this product is good with clear & crisp picture quality. Easy setup. Good sound (will likely purchase the matching soundbar soon to enhance the experience). The new modern and sleek remote is also great witb USB or solar charging.

Best Gaming TV. Impressive Upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the fence originally between buying this tv and an oled models specifically the LG C1. I use my tv primarily for gaming on PS5 and coming from a 43” 6 series, the upgrade was phenomenal. 4K HDR has never looked this good. Every detail, highlights and shadows deep and vibrant. Very happy with my purchase.

Great, But Also...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I really love almost everything about this TV. Other reviews have already done this thing justice and I agree with all of them. But there's just 1 problem that for me turned out to be way more serious than I expected and that's the lack of a simple Audio Out port. I want to connect my wired sterio system to the TV but it's just outright not possible. I have to buy a whole new bluetooth audio set which has audio delay that ruins gaming for me or I have to buy something that's ARC or eARC compatible which will run me half as much cash as the TV did in the first place. It's unbelievably disheartening to see newer TV's outright reject basic connectivity compatibilities (most likely to push vastly more expensive and brand specific accessories) when in all honesty I would have gladly paid an extra 100 dollars to have those types of basic ports available. Picture and Sound are the 2 primary outputs a TV has and this TV knocks it out of the park with its picture and is solid on its stock sound quality. But upgrading your sound systems should be the most inclusive thing ever since it's the only primary function of a TV to utilize external hardware, yet this model excludes so much by lacking standard direct ports that have been proven reliable since the dawn TV's as a household technology. I love this TV, but at the same time, I can't make the most of it without paying an arm and a leg or introducing a whole new sound latency problem to the mix due to the lack of something every TV should just always have. If you're looking to buy this TV, it's honestly fantastic but just know you'll be setting up your sound on Samsung's terms and it can feel unnecessarily steep...

Good picture, good operating system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this TV. It has a good picture. It’s sound quality is really poor, but there is a setting where you can adjust the sound quality and it made a huge difference. If you really care about sound quality I would get a sound bar with it. What I liked best at the beginning was how easy it was to put my favorite apps on the main control. The remote is excellent. We returned an LG to get this and I’m happy I did.
