Customers are saying

Customers recognize the 55" Class QN90C Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV (2023) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and ease of use. Many appreciate the user-friendly remote and straightforward setup process. While some found the stand slightly less than ideal, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, particularly for gaming and movie watching due to the high refresh rate. The price point is also frequently cited as reasonable for the quality offered.

Sold a busted TV - lousy customer service

So I spend a lot of money for a 55 inch. Only choice was delivery. So they deliver and I do not see the tape on the box until after they leave. I remove my old TV, unpack this one and hook it up. Plug it in and you can see the great picture. Yes, it is exactly where the tape on the box is. Worst part is dealing with BB afterward to get them to pick it up. First they tell me I have to lug it back in even though they delivered a busted TV. Wasted an hour on phone and finally contacted BB IM chat which finally helped. So I wasted hours with this process, including boxing it up and hooking up old TV again. With the initial very poor service from BB asking me to lug the TV back to a store, I am done using BB. There is much better service elsewhere.

There are a lot of things that are good about this TV. I like the stand, remote and sound quite a bit. I actually picked this out for my parents to put in their living room because they were complaining that their old plasma was too dim. According to reviews, this TV was quite bright and still had a good picture. When it went on sale, I bought it, helped them set it up and turned it on. Holy smoke. It's not an exaggeration to say that in 'normal' (or 'standard', can't recall) picture mode, it actually hurt my eyes it was so bright. But, pretty exciting picture when watching sports during the day. I just hope my retinas heal properly. The filmmaker mode dials the brightness back considerably and is probably what you would want for nighttime or dark room viewing. All in all, a good TV that I would recommend for anyone with a bright viewing room. I did dock it one star for the Samsung operating system. It works fine and is responsive enough, but it's a little complicated for non-techies like my parents, who almost always use their Roku stick or Xumo box instead. I know online reviewers focus on picture quality mostly, but usability matters a LOT for average users. I am also not a huge fan of having to set up a Samsung account just to use the TV. But still, great, BRIGHT picture and an overall great TV.

Samsung Neo QLED TV is a Sight To Behold

Clear, vibrant picture. I love the anti-glare feature. The way my home is arranged, I have a lot of lights set up in direct line of sight to the tv. The television adjusts its display so that the lights are not visible at all. I love the simplicity in use and the ease of interaction between the tv and my other Samsung products. I have a Samsung sound bar so I can't speak to the quality of sound on the tv alone. In the past I've bought lower line televisions so this was a bit of a splurge for me, and it's completely worth the higher price tag! All in all, I'm thrilled with this product.

    Best non-OLED TV

This is the second QN90 I've bought in a year after I was so impressed with the 85" QN90B I purchased for my basement rec room last year. I got this QN90C for my living room and I'd say the color is extremely deep, rich, and accurate. The motion tracking is extremely smooth and the TV is bright enough to provide a great viewing experience even when the sunrise comes in through my east-facing bay window. The picture difference between the QN90B and QN90C is almost indistinguishable but the smart hub runs a bit smoother on the QN90C. Samsung also has by far the best selection of apps in their app store and after getting used to their TV OS, I actually really like it. I have a couple of very minor complaints about this TV. For one, the optical connection to my LG sound bar (leftover from the last TV) was finicky, so I had to switch to HDMI which was no big deal. My other complaint is that the screen is a little glossy so there is a little glare (minor). Because the picture is so realistic, my dogs get confused occasionally and poke their noses against the screen leaving behind doggie nose art. It's easy to clean because of the coating on the screen, but it shows up very apparent before cleaning so I do need to maintain this TV a bit more than the one it replaced (55" LG SK8000 series from 2019) Overall, I would say that the QN90 is the best TV you can get before getting into OLED prices. The QLED technology Samsung uses rivals OLED for a lot less cost than an OLED model like the S90 or S95.

Great TV sets itself up with little effort from Me

This Samsung was delivered and placed inside by the deliveryman who was extremely polite. The unpacking and set-up was easy. Samsung has finally realized that they didn't need all of the buttons on the remote and that was a welcome change. This Samsung basically set itself up with little for me to figure out on my own. The features were just better than 4-5 years ago so the improvements in the functions are excellent. The issue that I dislike is that these tv's don't last because there are numerous issues with the screen burnout, lighting etc. The improvements have come a long way but there is always the issue of burnout. Luckily, the world puts videos on how to fix these tv's down to where you can get parts to fix our tv's so there is that going for us, the customers. I would never have dreamed of TV repairs but the LG that I bought from you previously has had major issues which left us having to buy another TV. Hopefully, I can replace the second board and that will fix it and we can use it as a backup. The Samsung mid to higher end TV's are at a great place in their development and they have made their setup flow seamlessly. I was even able to find the rest of the information that is there to read on the functionality of the remote because it's now small and easy to use. The voice activated remote has greatly improved the ability to find the things you are looking for in the tv. This tv is hands down better than a few years ago. I am a big fan but let's see how long this TV lasts. The only thing I dislike is the sound quality. I have to crank it up to 16-18 just to hear clearly when using roku. With this tv you really don't need roku but their are features you just can't get without using Roku. Hopefully, Samsung will do better with the sound apparatus instead of trying to get us to buy sound bars.

    Great TV, lousy OS software

Replaced an old Samsung 48” curved screen TV with the 55” OLED in my home theater setup. The OLED’s picture is outstanding. The reason I took off a star is Samsung’s OS. I use a Denon AVR to run my home theater and the Samsung OS fights with it for control. Takes some getting used to. I also use Apple TV as the base for streaming apps (Paramount+, Hulu, Disney+, etc). The Samsung wants you to go through it and use its versions of Disney+ etc. Samsung supposedly has the best smart tv OS today - the in thing for OM’s is to make their TVs the central hub for controlling things- the problem is TV OS software stinks in general compared to Apple’s and Denon’s. It’s all annoying. But that’s me being picky. The TV itself has a great picture, handles action scenes in movies well, and the detail in dark scenes is excellent. The setup software for the Samsung is fine. It’s the places where no one has gone before or wanted to go that the Home Screen can take you to afterward that can be annoying. Be careful when you push a button or you’ll wind up watching Rory Calhoun riding the plains in an old 1950s western instead of Mission Impossible VI. I use my surround HT speakers for audio. Turned the Samsung’s off. The Samsung’s audio is typical as far as TV speakers go. IOW, nothing special, it is what it is, then that’s to be expected when matched against a home theater audio system. Do I recommend this TV as a TV by itself or as part of a home theater system? Yes. But spare me the software control fight. Apple/Denon have Samsung beat by a mile.

Say what you will about the customer support online purchasing and over the phone support. This TV once purchased and set up as easy as the setup is, is sensational. The amount of features and quality of functions is next to none with the gaming hub , AI assistance Bixby, stand by themes, and settings that are actually user friendly.b q symphony I'm not sure there is anything better, it turns your home into a supermax theater if you pair a sound bar which the new 800 q sync will be my next review, but before that and lastly the picture quality when gaming could be ve better, but when streaming it is second to none. Anime, History, geographic, Nature, Action, Sports, you name it this TV displays it vibrantly I dare say it's flawless, but only time can truly test the quality of this product and the validity of that statement.

I was able to purchase this tv with a $1000 off! I actually went down in size from a 60 inch and thought it might not suit me. I was wrong, the set up was not difficult and once I made some video adjustments, the quality and clarity of the picture was surprisingly excellent. I cannot speak for the tv audio as I am running this through my surround sound but that audio is legit. Remote is easy to use a bit small but can be charged or left in the light for charging. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new tv to check this one out, it will not disappoint.

I recently purchased the Samsung 55" Class QN90C Neo QLED TV, and it's been fantastic. The picture quality is amazing, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that make everything look lifelike. The sleek design fits perfectly in my living room, and the ultra-thin bezels really make a difference. Watching movies and playing games is a joy thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate and the excellent HDR. Even in a bright room, the anti-reflection screen keeps the picture clear. Highly recommend this TV!

I just moved to a new place, and I was on the market for a new TV. My place has a lot of windows, so I started looking at the Neo QLED, and I'm super glad I did. This is my favorite TV thus far! Great picture quality, perfect for my bright room with floor-to-ceiling windows. I highly recommend this TV. Samsung did a great job with this one! I also bought the wireless sound bar and rear speakers, it's a great combo!

I'm really in love with this TV! Out of the box, it is blindingly bright, so much so that I had to turn down the brightness quite a bit! Colors pop and the sound quality from the built in speakers on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 7 which is not bad but a soundbar will always enrich the sound. I did not want to get an OLED TV due to it not getting bright enough for me and the way the brightness dims after a while. So my alternative was to go for the QLED and I am thrilled I ordered this TV from Best Buy!! Highly recommended!!!

This is the best TV on the market. Was very easy to set up and all the latest streaming channels were up and running immediately. We also complimented it with a sound bar. Just love it. We have the 85 inch version as our home theatre and the 55 inch to watch and relax in the bedroom. Highly recommend.

This 55" Samsung QN90C Neo QLED Smart TV has remarkable image quality, and set up is virtually fool proof. I am pleased with this mini-LED TV purchase. The picture is sharp and bright as expected and there are plenty of adjustments for picture quality. I picked Dynamic Pic mode and then made picture adjustments to bring faces down to normal color and brightness and am happy with the end result. The sound quality from the TV speakers seems very good to me for general purpose use. I used the Optical digital output on the Samsung TV to connect to a Yamaha stereo receiver for shows or movies with music and that works great. I had a much smaller Samsung Smart TV but it was hard to read the small closed captions and this new 55 inch TV solves that problem. I used black zip ties around the center stand to keep all wires running down the center stand so that they do not hand down from the TV and look sloppy. I would not have minded a little larger Remote because it is so small it hides too easy. The Menu takes a while to understand just because it has so much content.
