GREAT PANEL and COLORS! Lame UI and controls.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Own both a C1 and S95B. The S95B is definitely brighter with more vibrant colors and great shades of black. Seems like it does put out a little more heat from the panel. I just have a problem with the UI and their layout. Takes a while to get used to coming from an LG and not as responsive to me. The remote has no source button and it takes a few clicks through full menus to switch sources which is not ideal to me. The LG remote may be full size but it makes switching channels and sources way easier. The small solar remote on the s95b reminds me of a fire tv stick remote but fancier. I like the auto game mode that turns on and off on this panel for optimal picture while gaming from the Series X, I enjoy gaming on this more than the C1, but dont get me wrong, C1 is great before I got the S95B. I hate how you can't set intelligent optimization (what takes into account your room brightness and adjusts the picture for best viewing) on a specific source and can only turn it on and off. You can set different modes and customize the picture yourself for each source though Dynamic, filmmaker, etc). The sound mode though gets stuck on game mode everytime I use my Xbox source so I have to change it back to standard OR surround myself to get surround sound on my soundbar. The sound on the panel itself is nice, it is down firing along the underside. It sounded great to me thinking it was my soundbar at first before I enabled it via E-ARC. Other than those minor issues. The panel is where the magic is at. 4k content looks great in HDR10, and better than Dolby Vision on the C1 at times. Both are great panels but I would only get this over the C1 or C2 if it is roughly the same price. I wouldn't pay a premium for the upgrade to QD-OLED.

Nice while it lasted
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best tv I’ve ever seen, picture amazing. The problem is the reliability. I made it about a week until I had to return it. The tv would be stuck reboot and flash green.

Great Resolution but Multiple Defects
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a hard review to make. The resolution is the best I've seen almost ever. You won't make a wrong decision. Bad thing is it lasted 15 mins or so then had a green screen & power cycling off & on. Had to return it.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S95B TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings to manually fine tune your image.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.
If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

HDMI does not go to screen saver
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a gorgeous picture and decent sound through speakers . It gets quite a bit brighter than other OLED Tv's I have had which is awesome ! The reason I gave it 4 stars is the Tizen operating system . It does not offer some of the available 3rd party apps like TiviMate etc .. So I use a FireStick in HDMI 1 and a Blu Ray player in HDMI 2 . On the Samsung S95B it has a OLED protection which when I pause a Movie in Netflix and MAX from home screen install to the Tizen the 3 minute screen saver black screen works . However on any HDMI 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 the built in screen protection NEVER GOES TO SLEEP PROTECTION MODE . Meaning the OLED screen can be damaged with OLED screen burn in which is always a concern with any OLED TV . I contacted Samsung tech directly and their answer was sadly only the home screen apps will go to screen protection . My next comment was why on earth didn't you give the 4 HDMI ports the sleep black burn in protection and they could not answer this simple question except they did not do it . So be sure if you have anything in a Non Home screen source HDMI that you exit the screen and return to Home Screen if you leave the TV for more than a couple minutes . Of course you would have to return to the HDMI source , open the app on your device and hopefully it stayed paused where you left the non home movie . Hopefully this make sense . Maybe the new 2023 S90C or any other OLED has the screen saver mode in HDMI . The price of this TV is very reasonable for a OLED because of the current sale . Compared to the LG OLED I think it is definitely brighter and picture is as good as an LG . Glare on the screen is minimal but some is present . For an OLED it is very low glare . Other than the HDMI source sleep problem I give the picture a perfect 5 score . I do not know if the HDMI screen saver problem is on any other new Samsung Tv's but so be it .

Best TV I've ever owned.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is incredible. I've had other OLEDs and this is the next evolution. The colors are so vivid the contrast is fantastic and the extra brightness is where this model really shines next to my previous LG OLED. I really loved my previous LG OLED but it struggled with bright window glares at certain times of day and developed burn-in about 3 years into it's life. This TV fixed those issues. It's bright enough to have in a fairly bright room. It's glare management is excellent and its brighter and more vivid making the contrast that much more pronounced. I would have waited until next gen but I did not want a one connect box. While the next gen may get brighter, this one still looks incredible and had the features I needed. People complain about the software and there's some merit to that, but I use a 4k fire stick which boots up when I turn the TV on so I rarely mess with the TV's built-in interface. LG has better design when it comes to the actual build quality, but once this TV is in place you can't tell a difference. It's definitely not poor build quality I just prefer the new LG build quality and design.

Unbeatable Picture, Awful User Interface
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is incredible. Smart functions are bafflingly complicated and not as user-friendly as options from other brands. The lack of an input button is almost infuriating. Samsung really needs to prioritize the user experience over trying to be on the bleeding edge of smart TVs. It’s got some neat little tricks up its sleeve, but none of that matters when the software can’t keep up because the UI is bloated and/or poorly optimized. It’s very annoying to have to go home to change inputs, and the home menu is clunky to say the least. Couldn’t ask for much better out of the picture quality though, 10/10 there. Incredible balance of contrast, color, and brightness. Coming from somebody who’s owned half a dozen OLEDs since they started selling them en masse in the mid 2010s, this is far and away the best model I’ve ever used. Samsung - fix your UI, it’s really awful.

Absolutely amazing upgrade from LCD
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im giving this tv 5 stars because the picture is absolutely amazing for its price range. And because of the price range im not going to dock it stars for the overall UI seeming slower than other LCD tvs ive had in the past. I dont know if its because its OLED or what but yeah, the UI seems to get hung up sometimes and ive never noticed that happening on my friends Samsung OLED but he also spent 3x more than i did so im assuming its like a computer, you pay more for the faster processors and stuff like that. But yeah brightness is next level. 10/10 Picture quality and especially on games with 120hz its definitely 10/10 Sound is 10/10, very clear and Samsung offers an amplified option in settings that gives it extra boost for watching movies

BEST TV IVE EVER BOUGHT!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The jump from regular CRT standard definition TVs to 1080p HD TVs was an insane jump. Going from a Samsung Q60A (LED, 4K, 60hz) to this TV S95B (OLED, 4K, 120hz) is the same jump. The TV is so bright and colors vibrant. No blur at all. PS5 games are insane. The only downside is when the PS5 switches to the 60FPS mode for games, the TV will flciker. Ita bornal but atill the only downside id say. Totally worth it best TV. Also Samsung TVs come with Samsung TV Plus which is easentially 500+ channels for free. App loading is crazy fast too. Watched Top Gun Maverick and it looked even better that it did in the IMAX theater
