    Fantastic TV/Monitor for PC Gaming

Mainly got this TV/Monitor for PC Gaming purposes and TV secondary. You definitely need to get used to the vertical size for sure. Even with my desk space, I see approximately 3ft away from it. I don't find any issues for window use comparing for example to the LG C3. The picture quality is another level. Is it worth the price? I think so if you consider you are getting a complete package with Entertainment and gaming combined with 144mhz. Easy to wall mount vesa 400x300. I am running a 4090 gpu. Absolutely no issues what so ever specially with VRR. HDR Games are absolutely amazing. Best brightness level of any gaming monitor/tv. I have tested, the AW DWF, G8 Oled, G9 Oled. I would say G9 oled is a close second if the vertical height is a concern for you.

    Maybe the best gaming monitor

This is quite possibly the best MONITOR I've ever had. I use it for PC gaming, and it's a beast. In game mode, being able to hit 144Hz at 4k with that low latency (input lag) on a large and beautiful OLED... I don't think there's anything better. I'm sitting in my recliner with a SOVA lapboard writing this review. I didn't think I'd enjoy competitive shooters this way, but it's surprisingly capable. Where it really shines though is in large and beautiful open world RPGs. Be warned! Once you see this, you may never be able to game the same again! I paired it with a Samsung soundbar, so don't trust my review of the built-in audio, itself. Still, the Samsung soundbar plays extremely well with the TV. I'll have a review of that separately. I can't lie - I hate dealing with Samsung. Their support sucks. I also hate a lot of decisions the company makes. *sigh* This TV is so darned good though! If you're a gamer looking at TVs and this is in your price range, just do it. You won't regret it.

Mounted the S95C OLED in the bedroom to replace another high-end Samsung model. Color and brightness were shocking at first, in fact seemed a little too much so, that is, until I went back to viewing some other TVs around the house. All QLEDs, they almost seemed drab and dull in comparison even though not that old. Combined with its incredible sharpness, the S95C OLED now has me addicted over the others. It's truly unmatched in its ability to capture nuances of color and sharpness!

Will work with PS5 after some settings changes.

Anyone looking to buy this tv for gaming know some things first. Yes this tv does have a black screen issue with ps5. But there is a way to fix it unlike most people saying its a dud. This is after days of trial and error and rearch and the purchase of a $100 audioquest HDMI. This seems to be an issue that the ps5 has with other displays besides this one. It has to do with the 4k transfer rate. Not vrr. Not alm. I have those on right now fyi. But what fixed it for me was going into the settings on your ps5 and changing the 4k transfer rate from automatic to -1. Now some will say its not running full HDR but i see no difference at all after hours of comparison with automatic<rgb> and -1 <4.2.2>. Its now been 2 days and no issues. Other than that this tv is well worth the money visually if you dont want to fork over the extra 1k for the a95l or play risk to see if you get a 2nd gen s90c panel. All other decices run with no hickups. Havent had a chanceto run pc, but well see down the line. The connect box is a draw back but its something youll have to decide if you can live with it. I also suggest getting an extra warranty added to it so if anything does happen at least best buy will cover it. Good luck and hopefully this helps some people not pull the trigger on a return like i almost did.

The best TV I’ve ever owned

I never thought I could love a TV as much as this one. Seriously. I did a lot of research on QD-OLEDs before deciding on this one, and it packs the best bang for your buck, hands-down, in my opinion. It’s easy to get caught up in specs when reading about TVs, so I’m here to tell you: it might not be the brightest on the market, but I assure you it’s probably much brighter than most people ever need. The sound is not outstanding, but it does the job and is a major upgrade from my 2011 TCL TV. The external box connector is also a neat touch. The only downside of this TV I can think of is it’s glare – unless you’re in a totally dark room, there will likely be some kind of glare from your lights, but with how bright the screen can get, I’ve hardly found this to be much of a problem. Hope this helps!

QD OLED is definitely bright. However, if you want color accuracy, go with the LG. The Samsung is bright and punchy. The colors just seem to be artificial. So much color volume in the green and reds, that it eats up the detail. Sure you can turn it down, BUT THATS WHAT QD OLED was made for. COLOR TO SCREAM IN YOUR FACE. It’s just not for me. I had this hooked to my PC (nvidia 4090 gpu). So when you have any smaller font on the screen, you can see little halos or rainbow colors glowing around the font edges. If you can afford it, just get a G3.

This TV has such clarity and depth of color saturation. Every visual frame is a delight of color and depth. The vibrancy makes everything from football to movies even...ugh..commercials come to life. It commands your attention if you are in the room. Has one cable instead of multiple wires hanging from the TV as well. You will need a sound bar as with all the new TV's. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Excellent color, detail and brightness. The best tv I have ever owned. Beautiful picture for movies or sports. The small solar powered remotes works great for my needs. I also purchased the Samsung the Q930C soundbar which fits the tv perfectly. Money well spent.

Loved it ao much i returned the 55" to get the 77"!!! The colors just pop off of the screen and the 144hz was the icing on the cake. Ive owned a couple of TV's from rhe Samsung line the latest for me being the C9. In comparison it was well worth the upgrade and i loved my C9. The bitness is unmatched and the design doesnt feel as premium as my C9 but we cant get it all. Overall a 9.5/10 due to no Dolby Vision.

Superior Over The New 2024 Models from Samsung

I opted for this model over the 2024 models. Mainly because the 2024 models have an opaque matte overlay on the screens, which diffuses the overall picture quality and also cuts down dramatically on the brightness of the screen. With the S95C you don't get either of those defects with your screen. Fantastic viewing angles, superior brightness, color depth and moreover best picture that Samsung has released so far. Get this model, you won't regret it

    The notorious One Connect Box

Just wanted to briefly talk about the notorious one connect box... Today, after almost a month of testing with frustration, I finally pulled the HDMI 2.1 cable from my desktop PC out of the Samsung box and connected it directly to a Denon AVR-X4500H. Everything went back to normal - video signal dropped to 60Hz, but WINDOWS 11 DOLBY ATMOS CAME BACK!!! The one connect box...problems started with my PS5, then after dialing down the 4K video transfer rate to "-1", the frequent flickering went away. Even with this, the picture quality remained top notch. Connecting a Sony 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray player to the one connect box was the least troublesome. Everything worked fine. Then the Windows 11 desktop PC. Man, what happened to "plug and play"? Before the S95C, I had an older Samsung that also came with a separate connect box, which worked flawlessly. Not with S95C's box though. My PC uses an NVidia 4080, for video and audio. So, naturally I have the Dolby Atmos App from Microsoft installed. S95C had a difficult time receiving the signal from my PC through an HDMI 2.1 cable. At first I thought it was the cable, so I went ahead and purchased 3 different brands of cables to try. The problem continued. If I shut the TV and turned it back on, 3 out of 10 times it could find my PC. For a few days, switching the gaming mode between on and off worked, but it often had to be done by unplugging and plugging the HDMI cable. Then after a week, Windows 11 had enough of it and Dolby Atmos stopped working. Now my PC could only go back to playing 5.1 surround sound (I had 11 speakers hooked up). I use my PC for media and Tidal, not much gaming. Therefore, audio is a very important factor. I can downgrade the video but audio must be reliable, so I pulled out the HDMI and connected it directly to my AV receiver (limited to 60Hz). Audio is fine now. Samsung, your picture quality is superb, but you need to hear these complaints from your customers! Fix the one connect box!
