    Im bought this 55 inch tv, TO UPGRADE my old QLED, the colors are better amazing but the sound are very bad. On gaming mode got intermittent black out for a few seconds, I change for another same model but, the S95C OLED show the same issues. KINDEST

      We appreciate you sharing your experience with Samsung's S95C. To ensure your TV is fully optimized, please make sure you’ve got the latest firmware updates installed. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

      You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      To improve you sound, you may also want to enable some Intelligent Mode options, as these recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience.

      Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:

      Active Voice Amplifier (AVA): Analyzes ambient noise and provides optimal sound depending on the noise

      Adaptive Sound: Provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content.

      Adaptive Volume: Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV. By analyzing your volume usage history by time period it’ll automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external source.

      When using the above options, please also keep in mind the following:
      - All functions are only available when the sound output of the TV is set to TV Speaker.
      - AVA & Adaptive Sound Pro can only be used when the microphone switch (below the Samsung logo on the bottom of the TV) is active.

      You can also choose from various Sound Modes that may better meet your personal preferences: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

    I ended up and returned the TV as it would constantly dim for no reason. In fairness it was not new- it was a display model so that may have been the cause for the dimming.

    The TV is amazing. Good color. Awesome picture. My issue is that it came with an issue where itnwould have problems turning on. I called to Best Buy, eho refused to return it. Instead they wanted to send a repair technician out. I opted to have Samsung fix it. After 5 visits and replacement of both the One Box power supply and TV Power Supply, having to rip the back off, and having to fix the clips they damaged, it is now working. I love the TV, just not the refusal of either party to replace the TV, which would have been cheaper.

    The TV Died in 4 Weeks

    This TV died 4 weeks after I bought it. Do NOT buy this TV if you plan to mount it on the wall. It comes with a One Connect box, which is equivalent to a cable box. I hated it. Fortunately, Best Buy made good on it and got me a new replacement TV and I love it.

    Poor quality and customer service

    I purchased a new Samsung 55” class S95C OLED 4k tv and 4 months later it stopped working. It took 2 days for the Samsung repair technician to inspect the tv and he said it needs a new circuit board but would take 6 or more business days to arrive and then we would reschedule the service to install. I spoke with Samsung about possibility of replacing the tv (given it was new and waiting a long time to fix), but they said they can only have it repaired. I am very disappointed with this Samsung product and that the company will not replace this new TV that does not work, or would not intervene to speed up the part ordering/repair process. This is bad business and the company is not customer focused. I will not buy another Samsung product given the quality issue and lack of support after a new purchase is made.

    I like the build quality however, the red is so blown out I cannot adjust the red whatever I do with the adjustments. I should have purchased the QLED instead.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S95C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:

      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
      5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

      Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

    I bought the 55 inch as an upgrade from a Samsung 2014 50 inch LCD which was still just fine. This is very bright. I can't really see a benefit in the one box....at least for my needs. My stand has an attached floating mount so it just leans on the floor behind the stand between it and the wall. I also don't really know that this is much better than an LCD tv. I just watch shows. No gaming and I'm not a tech snob who needs the newest thing. But the price was too good to pass up. Hope it lasts as long if not longer than the LCD....

    The revolution in OLED has begun

    As a former Best Buy employee I was always cautious about OLED, but after my birthday and as a longtime Samsung fan, I made the plunge and there are no regrets. The level of details are blistering and the visuals pop off the screen. I'm currently re-watching and rediscovering all the wonderful beauty that movies has to offer. This is the new benchmark in OLED technology.
