Wall mount issues

I am so upset at Samsung and best buy for not making this obvious when I bought the TV. Nothing indicated before a close look at the instructions that the OneConnect box can only attach to the back of 65” and larger models of this TV. I have the 55” and was expecting to hide the OneConnect on the back of the TV but the fine print in the instructions clarifies you can only do that with the 65” and larger models, now I have a giant box sitting on the floor. Unit is getting returned ASAP.

I'm very sorry to hear of this misunderstanding. Please know the 55" S95D can absolutely be wall mounted with any type of wall mount that supports a VESA pattern of 400mm x 300mm.
Additionally, the Slim One Connect Box can be connected to the back of the 55" S95D stand, not the TV itself. It can, however, be directly attached to the 65" and 77" S95D. These TVs have their brains in a box that is the size of a small to medium sized DVD player that is connected to the screen with a wire. For the 65" the box attaches to the back of the TV and it can be hund on the wall. The box does NOT attach to the 55" screen for some reason and the TV has to be set on a TV stand. Really horrible hard to understand design.

Blank Screen After 6 month

Last week the TV turns on as I can hear the videos playing from the speaker, but the screen is blank. Although, I have the 5 gsp plan per Best Buy since the TV is still under manufacturing warranty I have to connect them to get the TV repaired.

If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Defective TV & Poor Service

The screen did not display any image from the start and even after a service call. Because I had two wait to have the TV installed, I didn’t discover that the TV was defective until two days after the two week return policy. Best Buy would not make an exception and exchange my TV, and punted my case to Samsung who also has failed to resolve the problem. I will avoid Best Buy in the future.

Some progams have terrible definition

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your xxx TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
For optimal motion image performance, you may also want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings

Need to know about the "One Connect Box"

Unfortunately, the out-of-box experience was a let-down. There apparently is a "One Connect Box" that literally is about the size of DVD Player. The One Connect Box, I uncovered post-purchase, is largely for cord management and housing technology. Immediately I realized this was going to be problematic for my particular situation to install this 55" TV to a Mantel Mount. I promptly returned it. Best Buy was efficient and nice on the return; however, I am bummed this wasted all of our time. I am not necessarily giving this TV a bad review, but having this large accessory is a knock. Moreover, I am writing this review for better awareness. The sales team at Best Buy and/or the sales display itself should clearly point this distinction out to potential customers while providing the various attaching/connecting methods for the different sizes. Please be educated on this "One Connet Box" to make an informed decision before purchasing this TV.

No good! Weak processor & constant wifi disconnect

Constantly has problems keeping internet connection when turning on. HBO app has to be reinstalled every few days. The processor is so cheep the tv stalls constantly. Full of usless apps. The remote is awkward, yet love the solar panel on back of the remote.

55 inch isn't practical to wallmount

So you have this ugly box with all your auxilary and power cable going to it. On the 55 inch it can only be mounted to the stand. You don't find this out until you unpack it and read the fine print in the instructions. And Samsung is OK with this? They shouldn't even offer it in 55"
