Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the 55" Class The Frame QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV's picture quality and Art Mode, with many praising the ease of use and the TV's overall aesthetic appeal when wall-mounted. However, some users expressed frustration with the remote control's intuitiveness and reported occasional software issues. The TV's performance and reliability were also subjects of mixed feedback. While many found the TV to be a great addition to their homes, some experienced technical difficulties.

Great TV - One Connect cable is NOT in-wall rated

Long time Samsung tv owner and the Frame is one of the top models I have owned. Great picture, includes a nice mounting system and loaded with features! My only criticism is that the One Connect cable is NOT in-wall rated. For in-wall installation, the cable must be run in conduit to meet fire codes. There is an in-wall rated One Connect cable that can be purchased separately for $300. Either way, if you plan to run the One Connect cable in-wall, you can expect some additional expenses.

Definitely looks like art when in art mode, although the other functionalities aren't amazing. I wish they would have been more explicit about the One Connect Cord not being in-wall certified. Also, having to pay extra for an actual frame ($200-$600 each for a 55") and more art ($19.99 each!) feels like we are being nickeled and dimed, especially after having to pay a premium for the TV.

The Samsung 55" Class The Frame QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV exceeded my expectations. It blends into my living space like a piece of art when not in use. The picture quality is stunning, with vivid colors and deep blacks. Smart features and Tizen interface are user-friendly. It's a perfect combination of aesthetics and technology.

We were looking to add a TV that coukd be inconspicuous enough for a living room above a fireplace. Thankfully we found the frame, installed it flush against the wall, and we’re very happy with the result. During the day, the TV remains in art mode and at night we get access to a great non-oled TV. Best of both worlds.

This tv is beautiful and I love that it functions as art. It’s a perfect size for my living room and I love that it’s flush to the wall and came with its own mounting system that was very easy to hang up. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting was the box to plug everything into, but we made it work.

The frame gives a fabulous, crisp and clean picture quality may it be of an art or as you use it for entertainment. I love it as I can change the display of an art at a given time and change the bezel thay could match the wall or mounting area; Also, I like the slim or sleek profile. Overall, it is well recommended.

Love the Frame. It really shines when its the middle of the day and light beams streak across. This TV stands on it's own as the clearest picture in that environment. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to make a statement or has a lot of natural light shining into your home.

So beautiful. As a tv the picture is crisp, pristine and excellent. But I love it more as art. It’s beautiful. People see it and actually think it’s a framed piece of art. Which is excellent. It’s place in my art wall. Takes very little space. And is completely unobtrusive. It was my best purchase.

The frame TV is worth every penny for a space where your aesthetic is important to you. Additionally the ease of install was phenomenal. I am so glad I made the decision to splurge. It helped a little there was such a good price, but I now encourage people that it is worth full price!

The Frame looks incredible and such as quality picture and with an accompanying sound bar the entire experience is impeccable! The only minor downside is the collection of complimentary artwork is minimal. But, you can use your own photos and adjust them as appropriate. Overall, wonderful product.

I love the Samsung Frame TV. Outstanding in all regards. If I could change anything it would be the inability to pull the cable through walls. It just takes away from the whole effect. The ends on the cable make it impossible to pull through normal tubing in newer homes above a fireplace.

I like the TV and Purchase was straight forward. Only bump was I had asked the sales person about the frame and had picked one out and thought when I was rung up it was added, it wasn't added. The major problem is the remote and the user manual. The remote has no battery, solar powered? Suppose to recharge with incandescent light. Set under light since purchase and no recharge. Now it is dead and the charger does not come with TV, had to order separately, REALLY? User manual is a misnomer, very short and brief, no instruction on how to recharge the remote or how to use the art work mode. Give us seniors a break. We didn't grow up with technology, it's a challenge to us. As group we have a lot of spending power. Think about that!

      mg7765,

I’m sorry to hear your Frame TV’s remote is not working as expected. Please try these steps which may help resolve this:

      1. Press and hold Return and Microphone buttons (diagonally up and to the right of Return). This will reset the remote.
      2. Stand within 1 foot of the TV and press and hold Return and Play/Pause simultaneously for at least 5 seconds or until a message appears on your TV indicating that the remote is now connected

If you’re still experiencing issues with the remote, please also try the following:
      - Unplug the TV for 30 seconds, and plug it back in.
      - Try moving closer to the TV and re-pairing.
      - Check to see if your remote is charged: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery
      - Check for available firmware updates on your TV: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

Please also keep in mind you can download your TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select The Frame TV under Lifestyle TVs > B Model Lineup to download the guides you would like.

The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support.

If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

People are so surprised that this is a TV. It make a big difference in how it looks in my room. TV is great. Picture is fantastic and the new screen is great because I get sun in the room during the day. It helps that I can still view educational videos with ease.

I waited and waited to finally make this purchase. So happy with The Frame TV. Highly recommend the Sanus Media Wall recessed box. We needed to house an LED driver box, as we have some LED light strips near the TV. Not only did the Samsung one connect fit, but the LED driver box too. Plenty of space left over. Just need someone to cut the drywall to place Sami’s Media box. The Geek Squad is amazing. The slim bracket which comes with the TV is slim indeed. Simple instructions but I wanted the pro’s to mount it. Now I need to decide which Bezel frame to use. I’m shocked at the cost for 55” bezel frames. Perhaps I will feel different when installed. Hope I don’t have issues with attaching the right way. We shall see!

TV is good for the price. The main attraction is the space it opens up in the room by hanging on the wall like a picture. Quality is pretty good and the anti glare screen makes it a notch higher. It isn’t as good as my OLED lake house TV, but once you go OLED there really isn’t much going back. For the price point, I’d recommend it.
