Beautiful TV that has broken twice in 18!months.

The first time the first appointment time was almost 3 weeks out, they cancelled the morning of and I had to wait another five days. It was fixed at the house the day they came (replaced motherboard inside of screen)...but four months latee the problem is back, but worse. The TV is beautiful, but it doesn't work.

Delivery was prompt and easy to install. Our only wish is that someone could answer our question on availability of an wall one connect cable as referenced in the Samsung installation manual

Great unassuming tv for our living room

The matte setting looks great in daylight or strong light, which makes it look like a painting. Given the price of the tv, I wish it looked more matte in darkness.

If you value picture quality over aesthetics, get an OLED TV instead. But if you want a frame that could elevate your living room, this is the only TV that provides that.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Frame TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
3) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
4) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Great TV…but do your research

Primary issue is the control box which sits external to the TV and connects via an optical cable. The serves as the primary connectivity for power, hdmi and other peripherals. Not bad per se but if you have a prewired set up as I do, it’s gonna require some rework as you will then need to thread the optical back to the control unit which may be a problem. The other issue is the subscription to get the expanded inventory of art was unexpected

Buyer Beware

I am on my second repair from samsung and i have only owned it 24 days. Best Buys pathetic 15 day return policy unless you pay them is also upsetting. Tv Powers off and on by itself, has issues where it wont load home screen and there is severe lag switching between Media/Art and Game mode. Screen is great, Connect one box is the Devil.

I’m sorry to hear that your Frame TV is turning on and off on its own. Please try these trouble-shooting steps which may help resolve this:
1) Check the One Invisible Connection Cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) Please also make sure you've got the latest firmware version installed on. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
5) You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

Just a pity that we can’t install it flush to the wall. Sound is also good. As we use it to watch tv and streaming and. It really in a cinema mode the tv sound is sufficient. No sound bar needed.

Samsung is terrible

This purchase didn't even last six months before it stopped working. The Samsung service has been terrible to. It's been over a month and they still haven't resolve the issue, although my TV is still under warranty. I'll never buy Samsung again.
