Poor manufacturing/design quality

The last two times have been out of warranty. Samsung can't manufacture good product anymore. This will be my last Samsung purchase.

A bit disappointing features don’t work well

The “picture” from standard gallery also requires resetting. Options are limited, subscription required

Looks great, poor performance

Samsung put a lot of effort into making this TV thin and sleek. Unfortunately, they used the outdated Tizen Operating System to control the TV and it's a hot mess. It's laggy, it crashes and just doesn't feel like something that is ready for actual use. My advice would be to get a really nice TV that is pretty thin, then spend a little money on a nice, shallow mounting bracket. In the long run you'll be much happier.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

Disappointed in the box needed

I'm very sorry to hear of the confusion regarding The Frame TV's specifications. The Frame TV requires the use of the One Connect Box which allows you to connect your components to one separate box, not to the back of the TV. The TV is connected to the One Connect Box with the One Invisible Connection – a translucent cable allowing you to place your TV accessories wherever works best for you.
While The Frame TV’s included One Invisible Connection Cable is not rated for in-wall installation, an in-wall cable is available (Model: VG-SOCR86U/ZA), which can be ran through your wall.

Screen went blank after one week

Two days after I purchased it, a black bar appeared on the screen. Within a week, the entire screen went blank. Luckily it was under Samsung warranty which is only 90 days. I had to wait two weeks to get the service repair. The technician, who was very personable and helpful, replaced the panel and, so far, the TV is working.
