looks GREAT, works intermitently

It also has grainy reception. I'm hoping that an easy repair can be made. Unfortunately I couldn't schedule an online or over the phone as I didn't have the serial number handy (which probably would've been super simple to find if I was able to actually speak with a human being, instead I was abruptly informed to call back when I had the serial number and hung up on by a robot......

Thank you for your review of the 2021 Frame TV. We appreciate you sharing the details of your power issue and for your patience while waiting for your service appointment.
While you are waiting, please try these trouble-shooting steps:
1) Check the One Connect Connection Cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware by enabling Auto Update: Settings > Support > Software Update > Auto Update (you will need to be connected to the internet for this to work)
If you still need your TV's Serial Number to schedule a service appointment, using your TV's remote go to: Home > Settings > Support > About TV.
Should you need further assistance after your service is complete, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or text HELP to 62913.

Samsung Should Be Embarrassed

Samsung, you should be embarrassed with what you charge and the garbage wall mount “instructions” you include. Fortunately there is YouTube to help for free because $1600 to Samsung is apparently not enough incentive... I know many have left similar reviews, maybe they will take notice. As it stands Samsung has ruined my day.

stopped working

Not sure if there are lemons within the TV world, but I'd say this was one. First the remote stopped working. Then the TV eventually stopped working altogether after a day or two of the remote not working. Luckily it was within Best Buy's 15 day purchase and they took it back! Amen Best Buy.

Disappointed again With Samsung

My wife wanted it for Christmas so I bought it for her we bought a new house and waited to get it hooked up. Didn’t work. Was beyond our return time frame. Worked with Samsung work with Best Buy. Samsung was supposed to come Best Buy was supposed to call… I feel like a dog chasing my tail. Still don’t have it worked out and Christmas is only three days away. Would love to give you a glowing review but we can’t even get it to work. We have troubleshot for hours with Samsung techs.

Not Worth The Money - It Turns Off By Itself

Unfortunately, the art turns off within one minute. I've look at all the timer, clock, and power settings and nothing is set to automatically turn off the TV. However, it turns off at will. I turn it back on and it shuts off again within one minute. I've tried all the suggestions from Samsung and even run diagnostics against the TV. It still turns off. Avoid this TV and spend a lot less for a comparable TV.

Thank you for choosing The Frame TV and for your review. If your TV appears to turn off by itself, try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.
See if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer
If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it.
- Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
- Settings > General > System Manager > Time > Off Timer
Additionally, please also make sure the motion sensor (located at the bottom of the TV) is not blocked, as this could be affecting your picture.
If the issue persists, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the TV continues to turn off by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

Has it’s flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has its good and it has its bad. I bought this tv primarily as an art frame. I had it installed by a professional, and he didn’t have issues with the wall mount. It was a good spend of $125. The good: As an art frame, the tv looks great. I get a lot of compliments. The tv is thin and if someone isn’t really focused on it, it’d pass for actual art, well during the day. The bad: regardless of any settings or the brightness in the room, the tv will randomly get bright and then go back to normal or sometimes to a darker setting it normally doesn’t let me do. This happens with zero change in the lighting in the room and with auto brightness turned off. The smart things app you use to control it from your phone is garbage. It’s so buggy and the interface is terrible to deal with. Also, I have two televisions in close proximity, so using either remote affects the other one. Telling my echo to turn on or off my primary tv also affects this tv. I haven’t found a solution for that yet online. Makes controlling the TV’s an issue. Would I purchase again, maybe, but only when on sale. But my next primary tv won’t be a Samsung, to avoid the tv remote issue.
