No- Go if using in Art Mode near another SamsungTV

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the design and how the frame displays art pieces; however, if you are going to use the frame just in art mode, and you have another Samsung tv in the room it's a no-go. This is due to Samsung remotes. They are universal. In practice, this means if we try to turn off our main TV it turns on the TV portion of the frame. Then when you try to turn it off with the remote it turns on the TV you just powered off.

Thank you for your review of The Frame TV. I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Solar Cell remote turning on other TVs in your house. The on/off function of your remote is done via IR (infrared) therefore it cannot be paired to a specific TV. You will need to be in close range of your target TV so the light does not reach other TVs in your home.

I had some concerns about the viewing angle based on reviews I read, but it seems to have a much wider viewing angle than the TCL I had hanging there before. Appearance-wise, it is just gorgeous. It really does look like a picture frame, particularly with the white bezel I bought to go with it. Fantastic purchase, I couldn't be happier.

Only buy this if you’re interested in the frames ability to display artwork. Don’t buy the hype on YouTube it still looks like a TV that’s displaying art it does not look like a picture frame with an expensive work of art in it. It definitely looks better when you’re not using it because of the artwork, and it is extremely thin the thinnest television I’ve ever seen. However no one will be fooled it still looks like a TV

We are super pleased with the quality of the TV, as well as how it looks when it's "off". Highly recommended. Only complaints are sluggish processing (downloading, configuring art and pictures, choosing and adding mattes, etc) and the interface for downloading pictures could be more intuitive.
