Love this TV. The Ultra Hi Def is all it is supposed to be and more. It feels like you are in the moment, almost 3D! It reminds me of our home videos just like it is in real time, Hard maybe to explain but when you see it you will know, and I thought my other 55" was Ho-Def, not like this one! I love it!

The picture is crystal clear and the UI is easy to use with the built in apps. I have an older higher end model and the tech in this TV is actually faster than the high end one from a few years ago. Good value.

Turns on quickly, but I wish that it wouldn't automatically go to Samsung TV and start playing a show/movie. I would prefer the home page like my Fire Stick so I always have to press home on the remote. Like that I have a remote on my phone. Picture is clear. It is larger than I expected. Good Black Friday price. The sounds comes out of the back of the unit though

This is a very good inexpensive 55" 4K smart TV. It works well with AT&T U-Verse and a 5 year old Blu-ray player. The video quality is pretty good - certainly for movies and sports. The Tizen OS works well - maybe displaying the Tizen home page a little too often (or too long) when it really doesn't have to (like when turning the TV on). And Tizen isn't the most intuitive smart TV OS user interface. The apps I've used (Tubi, PlutoTV, FreeVee, Britbox, and a few others) all seem to work well (using either WiFi or wired Internet connections). The remote seems to work OK for the TV itself, the Blu-ray player and for the various apps (although the buttons for controlling streaming, Blu-ray play, and DVR play (Stop, Pause, Forward, FRev, FFwd) and are very small and somewhat awkwardly placed at the bottom of the remote. The sound is somewhat weak, but typical for inexpensive TVs (even of this size). All-in-all, I'm pleased with this TV (after buying it on sale and owning it only a month). Now if it will last 10 years, I'll really be pleased.

Great Picture, you feel like you're in the TV the picture is so vibrant. Volume could be better and we will be adding a sound bar, but it seems like the TV is made to have mediocre sound so you will spend money on a sound system. Biggest problem we have is the TV turns itself back on either 2 or three minutes or a few hours later, which is pretty shocking when it happens at 2AM, we try to remember to turn the volume down.

We use these for bar / restaurant installations. Nice bright, clear picture quality. Picture quality is great for menu boards, they are reliable, and certainly priced right! My only downside is the remote interface. A lot of steps and “feature bloat” if you just need to only use an HDMI port or USB input. Samsung should add a simply “old school” mode and bypass the smart functions. A very good TV and a great value!

My Samsung 55 in tv is everything I hoped it would be. We really like all the features this tv has good purchase. We set it up in our living room on a entertainment center, we were thinking about hanging it but decided not to, just like to thank BJ's for having this TV on sale

The picture quality is excellent for this price range. I've seen more expensive televisions that say they're much better but I can't see any real difference outside of having fewer options to dial in the picture. For the casual watcher, or even the solid gamer, this TV is a solid buy.

This TV was put in an office conference room to replace an existing Samsung that had been powered on for nearly five years. This television appears brighter than the Samsung model it replaced, hopefully, it will last just as long.
