    For the price this is a great TV. Smart TV works perfectly. The only downside is that it can't be wall mounted.

    I purchased 2 Samsung televisions recently, both have had issues with a green / orange screen when turning on , I have to unplug the sets to reboot tvs to reset the color. Tried to find a Samsung phone number on line and in the paperwork, no luck. I have had Samsung units before with no issue, I will be going back to Sony in the future!

      Hi KJM55,

      Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We recommend ensuring your TVs are running the latest Firmware, version 1132.0. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:

      1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manual & Software > Find your TV model, and click on the Firmware – Upgrade File.
      2. When the file has finished downloading, locate it and then unzip it. There is normally one folder inside but there may be multiple files.
      3. Copy or move all of the files that were included in the zip file to a USB flash drive, but do not place them inside any other folders. If you place the software folders inside a folder on the USB flash drive, the TV or monitor will not find them.
      4. Connect the USB drive containing the software upgrade into a USB port on your device.
      5. Using your device's remote, navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select Support. Select Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes if prompted.
      Your device will search the USB drive for update files. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, it will restart automatically.

    Xfinity streaming on this tv is freezing then coming up with the message “Attempting to resume. Ran into a problem with streaming”. No other tv’s in the house do this. All are using google wifi mesh and this tv has a pod right next to it. Max, Netflix, and Hulu all stream without any problems on this tv. Get no answers from either Xfinity or BBuy. Thinking about returning the tv at this point.

      Thank you for sharing your experience with the U7900F app. If the app is freezing, not loading, or crashing, we recommend trying the following steps:

      1. Cold boot the TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and back on.
      2. Delete and reinstall the app to clear out any potential corrupted data.
      3. Reset Smart Hub to remove any app conflicts (Settings > Support > Device Care > Reset Smart Hub).

      Please also make sure your TV has the latest firmware installed: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now.

    I purchased this TV approximately two weeks ago, and unfortunately, I’m already forced to utilize my warranty to return it. Whenever I turn on the TV, it usually requires a few attempts due to its intermittent blinking on and off. Currently, I’m experiencing an issue where I keep encountering a green or red screen, preventing me from adjusting the picture settings.

    The TV worked great at first, but suddenly the screen stopped responding in less than a month. The most frustrating part is that Best Buy only allows exchanges within 16 days unless you purchased extra insurance. Honestly, who expects a brand-new TV to fail in under a month? Very disappointing experience

      Thank you for your feedback regarding the screen abnormalities you're seeing on your TV. To help determine if the issue is related to the panel itself, we recommend starting with a Picture Test, which displays a high-definition image you can examine for flaws: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

      If the issue appears during the test and across all sources (built-in apps, HDMI devices, etc.), it may indicate a panel-related concern.

    I actually installed this TV in my Gazebo and it has been a game changer. We can watch the game outside, a movie or even play games and it has not disappointed. Controls are very easy, although the remote has a little of a learning curve. The price was very very affordable and it looks great! Also, the weight is very manageable, since it is installed to the roof of my gazebo. Everyone is going for bigger screens and that's alright for inside the house, this one is just the right size and the right resolution for outside viewing. Any Samsung fans would be greatly pleased with the performance of this TV.

    I’ve had this TV for a little while now, and it has really improved our living room setup. The picture is crisp and bright, especially when watching movies or sports in 4K. Colors look natural (not too saturated), and the image stays clear even when watching from the side, which is great for when the whole family is on the couch. The built-in Tizen interface is simple and fast. It didn’t take long to log into all our streaming apps. Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc. I also like that the remote is very minimal, but still does everything you need. Even my kids figured it out quickly. We connected a soundbar, but honestly, the built-in speakers are surprisingly decent for everyday use. For movies and shows with more bass, the soundbar helps, but for the news or kids’ shows, the TV speakers are totally fine. One thing I appreciate is how slim and lightweight the TV is. It was easy to mount on the wall and looks very clean. The narrow bezel makes the screen feel bigger than 55 inches.

    TV is sleek and the colors are bright. Still getting used to the picture quality which is excellent, but can sometimes remind me of watching soap operas in the 80's. Unfortunately, the TV seems to have difficulty connecting with streaming services, particularly at night, and this is extremely frustrating when you are trying to watch something. I'm not sure if it has to do with the TV or whether there are issues with the streaming itself, but the streaming does seem to work on the computer, so this points to problems with the TV.

    Purchased one for my mother and it would not fit on the little table unit she was adamant she wanted it on. I kept it for myself since my TV was almost twenty years old and the pixels were going. She then decided that she did indeed need a larger stand to display the TV on (her old TV was 37 inches). With the leg stands being located where they are on this TV, she needed something longer. Set-up was simple on both tv's. She has cable and it took like two minutes to get the box hooked up and the tv running. I stream everything using an Amazon Firestick and it took a little longer but it was very easy. Remote control is way simple. Honestly, nothing not to like with this television. I keep the sound around 20 when at home and can hear everything just fine. Picture is very clear and I enjoy being able to read a characters phone or computer screen when watching a tv show instead of having to stop the action, get up and move closer to the screen and trying to read something. The price was outstanding (like $279.99 each). I was worried with the TrumpTarriffs that TV prices would be skyhigh when I was finally ready to pull the trigger.

    The TV has a nice picture and everything worked as it should. It wasn’t a huge difference over the 43 inch TV we replaced, but the main problem was that it only has two HDMI ports, and there was no way to connect the soundbar we bought with it, as the soundbar did not have an HDMI port, and the TV did not have an optical port. The only way to connect the two was with Bluetooth, which didn’t work for us. This was after a lot of discussion with employees on Cyber Monday. Had to return the soundbar and upgrade to make it all work. Also ended up returning the TV and upgrading to an 8000 for the additional HDMI port, and found that the picture is considerably better. We now have the 65 inch 8000 model for $100 more and are very happy with it.
