The stand is equally huge and takes up a huge space. M2 Mac require to drive “8k by 2k resolution at 120 you won’t get the 240 via hdmi. I can’t speak on pairing with a windows machine. Unfortunately there are no usb c or thunderbolt 4, just a usb 3.0 hub with 2 usb A. That’s a con at this price point. It’s a 3.5 stars for me.

Basically 2 4k monitors or 3 screens in one at lower res. For gaming on pc it’s amazing. For Xbox or PS5 not as good since ultra wide monitors don’t play well with consoles. However with 2 consoles or 1 console and pc or Mac on the other side it rocks. Lots of configuration settings and sizes. It’s expensive but well worth it.

Broke after a few months, Samsung is a nightmare

There had been times where the screen would flash, or there was really bad banding, but usually a restart would clear that up. This time, it was completely dead: no on screen interface, no switching when the KVM was used, nothing. Trying to get Samsung to fix it has been a nightmare, multiweek process with techs coming out only to discover the parts they had been sent didn't fix the problem. Calling Samsung support has resulted in four hang-ups in the past 3 hours trying to talk to someone about replacing it. When it worked it was a great monitor, but do not buy this monitor until the supply chain and manufacturing defects have been worked out. Since it looks like other suppliers have their own versions of this on the horizon, wait for reviews on those before considering this monitor.

Got a replacement and it has been great so far. Driving and fantasy games are really immersive and being able to Picture in Picture two devices at 4k is awesome

Great Monitor Marred by QC Issues

Reason for the reduced score is the screen has visible diagonal lines across the whole surface. Just poor QC. Hopefully will be able to get that repaired and then I'll love it.
