I received this as a warranty replacement for another Samsung 55" that stopped working after less than 2 years. I may have gotten a bigger screen, but the overall quality of the replacement was not comparable. Picture Quality is ok, but I expected a crisper picture quality from Samsung. Also, my TV has now made a few attempts to direct me to Samsung TV without anyone having touched the remote or TV...kind of odd and definitely inconvenient. For the price I guess it's okay, but as a warranty replacement to the TV I had I was very disappointed.

This is absolutely the best TV that I have ever owned. The picture clarity is amazing. I always say there is nothing like a Samsung TV. Prior to purchasing this one, I had the 32" Samsung which I purchased 11 years ago. The picture is still amazing and the TV is still alive and kicking.

Really good tv. User interface is a little slow to respond, but I really like the user interface itself. you just have to be a tad patient when navigating the menus and UI. Other than that, I really enjoy all the features.

Buy a different tv! We've been using this for over a month now and it's the worst tv I've ever owned. The remote is terrible, absolutely terrible. The layout is miserable, to the point you have to use 2 hands to operate the ff, rw, play and pause functions. The remote must be aimed directly at the tv or it won't work. So i changed the batteries to be one's just to be sure. Nope, you still need perfect accuracy. I'm exactly 13' from the tv, not at all far. All my other remotes work perfectly fine. The brightness is barely acceptable at its brightest setting. I had to go in and change other picture settings to try and get it bright enough to watch. You have to turn the auto brightness off and it's only good in low light conditions. If there's any room brightness from sun or lights, then your watching a dim tv. The sound is ok, but you need to crank it up at times. The sound isn't a deal breaker, but it's not good. We bought a Samsung because we were told it's one of the better brands.

I am very pleased with the sales team at Best Buy El Dorado, North Frisco, TX. They helped me find the TV I purchased, despite being reported as sold out on their online site. Delivery was on time, instructions in the package for assembly were helpful, and it has been in use since arrival.

It’s a good tv for the price. The picture isn’t as clear/vibrant as the QLED series we have in the entertainment room. And there is a small delay when first turning on the tv, but for the price, can’t beat it.

Most user UNfriendly tv ever owned! Poor picture quality and placement on screen and IMPOSSIBLE to figure out on my own. Three times needing to unplug for one reason or another, everything factory resets and so, calls to customer service are needed to get it up and going again. Too big for me to manage myself or would return for another model. Feel it has to do with Tizen as first one owned with this and have always had good results from other Samsung models. Very disappointed!

      PerfectGift:

Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your TV’s picture. There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.

Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, contrast, white balance, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care.

It improves your apps performance as it frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

I hope this helps to solve your concerns. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support.

I would recommend that you absolutely stay away from this TV. I have been very disappointed in the overall performance. I'm not sure if it is a processor problem or a memory problem but Samsung did not put enough performance power in this TV to handle the smart functions it has. It takes FOREVER to load apps and the TV often freezes up as it thinks about the buttons you've pushed on the remote control. I can be on the menu screen and pushing the arrow buttons to select the features/apps I want and the TV will freeze for 15 to 20 seconds in between EACH button push. This makes dealing with it unbearable. A factory reset of the TV doesn't make it any better. Also, the wifi is painfully slow. I have a gigabit internet connection in my house and my router is the next room over. I can sit my computer next to my TV and receive WIFI speeds of 500+ Mbps. Yet, when I run a speed test on the TV, it may be running 3 or 4 Mbps.

      Trice:

If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.

Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode
      Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting
Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer

Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device.
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

I hope this helps. If your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support, and a representative will gladly assist you.
