Great TV

No problems so far in 6 months of use. Picture quality is up to Samsung standard. Only thing added was a 4 port HDMI expander as the tv only comes with 2.

Awesome but...

Hardware is Terrible

Before my tv gave out (had it for about a month) it was great. All the apps worked great, and it was pretty quick to set up. I give it one star because the tv's hardware does not last at all, and when you try to get in contact with them to try fix it or exchange it they give you the run around. Somebody attempted to fix it once, but he was unsuccessful because he was given a defective part from their service center. Once again the software on this tv is great and that's why I was interested in it from the beginning, but after this experience I will never buy another Samsung product because their products simply don't last. Also from my experience I learned that they will do everything in their power to not compensate you for your wasted time, and their terrible product.

Don't Buy

Samsung 58" 7000 series

I understand it isn't the higher-end model, but I still think Samsung's apps and UI is still horrible. I've noticed when watching several TV shows via the Samsung apps, the programs will randomly freeze and I'll have to bump the fast forward button to start program again. Game mode works quite well when playing on the Xbox One. For the price, it's an alright TV and I'd still recommend it. Just use a different app source, such as Apple TV, which I'm doing now.

The interface issue you are describing may be related to your network connection and quality.
We suggest you try the following:
1. Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2. Try wired LAN if available
3. Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can also help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Short tv life

Great 4K UHD TV!

Haven’t had it long enough to make a decision.

Perfect for my home office

Decent picture for the price

Meh

The interface blows and the power cord regularly wiggles itself free (without anyone or anything touching it), causing the tv to just suddenly cut off. I have had it for over a year now and have given it every chance I can muster, but I am going to have to move on.
