Great until it wasn't

Dead Pixels

At this point there are dead pixels all over the screen, and watching anything with a bright background is beyond frustrating. This TV is not good. I wish I would have spent the money on an LG because this was my final straw for Samsung appliances. Two stars because it still works…

I am a senior citizen the speaker is in the back, I have some hearing loss and had to turn volume up higher than my wife was comfortable with it. My grandson recomended a sound bar which delivers the sound from the front, we were able to set the sound at a level that was comfortable for both of us.

Good for the first few years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent TV. Bought in 2020. We had no issues up until a few months ago (lifetime of 3 years). Lines started showing across the screen. This week, the entire screen power on/off cycle malfunctioned, continuously turning the tv on/off on its own displaying a black screen. Estimated $500 in repairs without warranty. Samsung customer service offered only $90 off a new tv. Decided to purchase a new tv from Best Buy. Possibly a bad apple, but won’t buy this model again.

No more Samsungs
