Needed to get a new television to replace a 55" Vizio I purchased 3.5 years ago that suddenly died. I forgot I purchased the extended warranty for the Vizio, but I digress. I am a DirecTv user as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime. Previos television was not recognized as a 4K UHD support, so only 1080 broadcast on it. This TV supports all 4K broadcasts and the picture is amazing! Once you become familiar with the Smart functions, it's super easy to navigate through them. I use a Harmony 650 remote and setup online was a breeze. I wanted a larger television that my previous 55". Slightly larger without the major increase in cost. So far, so good. I am very pleased with my purchase as of now. I needed a price adjustment because it had gone on sale since the purchase date, no issues at Best Buy getting it. Now I have 2 55"+ tvs! Remember that you did or did not buy the extended plan. I also did for this.

I purchase one year back. there is some pros and cons which I would like to share. pros: 1. excellent sound quality and bass 2.Picture quality is good at this price but not like QLED. 3. light weight 4. easy to install. Cons: 1. there is only two USB port 2. stand is not balanced but if you wall-mount than its perfect. Overall great product with great screen size.

Perfect TV, not to heavy so that you can move it from one wall to the next (if you like to change the room decor) Ease of use, no defects, great sound and color. No issues. You can easily move chanels, apps,...on main screen.

This was the second same model TV that i had to return. The first one was because the remot control and TV did not communicate. The Geek tech did all kind of tests including me doing some with his direction and did not work. So first one needed to return/exchanged for same model. The secound one did not retain the wifi connection/information in the memory when TV turned off and on. Lapse of time did not made a difference so geek tech did remote test of wifi and it was ok (signal strength ) and reset software to factory set and updates remotely and it work for one day. The fix (every time i turn on the TV) that i found was to hold the on/off button on the remote until the Samsung logo appear and the bottom smart application show. At that point the memory card on TV recognize the internet preview setup/connection. But that is not how it has to work, so i just returned the second one also.

This tv is a steal for the size and the price. Great picture for non-4K content makes non-4K tv look better and 4K content is amazing. May not be an OLED/QLED tv but still great bang for your buck and a great picture.

Great picture quality. We own a few Samsung TVs so navigation through the apps and inputs is easy. Setup is easy as usual. Definitely a good value for price oaid.

We we're looking to upgrade from a 42in 1080p Smart TV. Caught this one when it was on sale for $500 plus tax. It's a great size, crisp screen, and plenty of apps. Only cons are that the box is huge and they don't recommend transporting on its side. We have a Tucson SUV and it would not fit standing up. They had to take it out of its box for it to work. Or you can risk putting it on its side but it was not recommended. The only other issue could be just me, but the arrows on the remote are close to the exit button and without physically looking at the remote, it's easy to accidently push it. Overall a great TV for the price.

I ordered this online and when I picked it up was barely able to fit it in my Mazda. Assembly of stand Setup was easy. The TV did all the internet work for me and connected my game systems and external TV services (Apple TV.) The remote works flawlessly and also controls my other media plugged into the two HDMI. The sound is as good as it gets for a TV , I use Bose Bluetooth. I was able to easily connect my Apple phone to it and stream YouTube and such. TV IS a bit heavy and the stand is rather large with a V shaped pattern.

We have always owned Sony TVs, but when it was finally time to get a new TV for our new living room, one that we could easily mount, we confidently went with this Samsung TV, and we're so glad we did! The size is just right, the features are fantastic, the picture is great, and the sound is decent even without our surround sound being hooked up. The sale price made this TV the clear choice over cheaper TVs and more expensive Sony's.

I was reluctant about this purchase due to the size of the tv compared to its relative price. Its a week later and all my fears have been alleviated. I may be a little over zealous because this is my first smart AND 4k tv but it is fantastic. Football looks awesome, movies- awesome, PBS nature specials- awesome. The audio far surpasses what I expected and the interface is smooth. We'll see how things are a few months from now but as for now, I am in tv heaven. Great product at a great price. Also gaming is outstanding on it.

I am very happy with this Samsung 58 in tv. Easy to set up easy to operate and the picture is AMAZING! I feel the price was fair and I also purchased the protection plan

Unbelievable, vibrant picture. Watching movies is like at the movie theater; now watching sporting events, this TV really puts you right in the action. I love to watch golf, and the only thing you don't get, is the smell of the grass. I am no tech guy by any means...I was able to set this unit up and started watching within 5 minutes. I would recommend purchasing the sound bar, as the speaker is not the best. Overall, best purchase I have made in several years!!! CANNOT WAIT FOR FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

Bought this Television to replace a Sharp 50” 1080p LED TV. I purchased this TV online sight unseen based strictly on reviews. Took it home and set up was extremely easy. I was watching Netflix within 20 minutes which I learned I needed to upgrade to receive 4K quality. I upgraded and immediately was blown away by the breathtaking picture quality. I honestly had to check and see if I received the correct TV because it was unbelievable for the price point. My wife (who thought we didn’t need a 4K TV) was also blown away and now hogs our viewing time! The sound is also remarkably good but not great for large rooms. We’re using a sound bar from our previous set up so we have no disappointments with that. My ONLY complaint is that the Hulu app is somewhat “buggy” and glitches frequently, although the picture quality is still the bees knees. All other Apps work flawlessly. All in all we are extremely pleased with the purchase and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable large screen 4K TV! Would give a perfect score if not for the buggy Hulu app.

I purchased this television while it was on sale some months back. For the quality and price I must say it’s a steal. The smart TV functions and features make it great as a multi-entertainment device. The trial for sling tv was also an added bonus. I recommend buying if you’re looking to save money and you definitely are getting the bang for your buck.

I use this primarily as a monitor for my computer/Xbox, also watch Netflix, superb picture and sound considering it’s tiny speakers

This is a great product! I purchased if for my parents because they wanted to upgrade from a smaller, way older Toshiba flat screen. They were curious about Smart TVs because they frequently liked to stream films and shows, and did so on a computer, typically, before they got this TV. They love all the apps and features. Everything looks great on it and it's very easy to use.

This is my first 4K TV purchase, is has a very good picture. Also my first smart TV, streaming seems to work very well with WiFi. Sound is also very good. Big 4K TV at a Reasonable price.

Excellent quality TV. Plenty of inputs. Smart capability and direct internet connections. Only gripe, having owned several Samsung TV's, is they did away with the virtual pointer, where you could use the remote as a mouse pointer on the TV. Now all navigation and typing has to be done with the arrow keys which is annoyingly tedious.
