This screen very big. I love it. Color good, sound good, but if remote is a new model is perfect.

This is a great TV for the price. The visuals are sharp and the sound quality is better than expected.

Good quality, picture and size for the money we spent. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the limited number of hdmi ports. This tv had all that we needed for a once in a while bedroom use.

Bought this tv and the xbox one, series S & X all do not work. Samsung says its not an issue with the tv but i find that hard to belive. The tv is good for straaming only dont try to connect your console. The tv shows lines through it and completely ruins the picure.

Needed a replacement TV between the morning World Cup Final and the afternoon NFL games because the current TV picture failed unexpectedly. Did it thanks to Best Buy. I was able to research units online to find a sets that would fit in the current space. My big concern was the placement of the legs. I’ve had good success with Samsung sets so we’re drawn to them. Due to the narrow bezel and the placement of the legs, this 58” set fits on the cabinet better than the 55” Vizio it replaced. Unpacking and placing it on the cabinet was easy, it requires two people. The initial setup is straightforward, plug in the devices and answer some questions and the TV, network and remote are configured in a short amount of time. My current devices are a sound bar and Xfinity set top box. This smart TV comes with a number of applications that you would find on a Roku or Fire stick, and something called Samsung TV Plus which are live and on demand streaming channels covering News, movies, comedy, etc channels. After a month, I am still impressed with the picture when watching sports, movies or prime time TV (I’d hope so). The sound of the internal speakers are almost good enough to not need a sound bar, almost. The remote duplicate nearly all the Xfinity and Roku functionality, that said I may not be patient enough to figure out how to make it accomplish some of the functions I need to go back to the native remotes for. The one draw back that I quickly found is that the TV only has two USB ports (no component or composite ports). This limits the number of devices I can plug in to two, Roku and sound bar, My gaming console remains disconnected until I move all my Roku apps to Samsung or Xfinity apps. I am also not able to plug-in any legacy devices such as my VCR, that don’t have a USB interfaces, ok for me as I wasn’t using this set for watching vcr, but thought it might be worth mentioning.

Solid picture quality for the price. Viewing angles still arent the greatest, and detail is lost in bright whites, but Color is great and brightness is decent. Remote is terrible and antiquated. Smart system is pretty slow, but plenty Apps to choose from. Only paid $358 for 58inch, so well worth it.

I ordered this TV for my mom, first off the picture quality is excellent for the price, as well as the size. Getting the largest size screen under $400 and a name brand was the goal. I will say the built in smart tv features leave a bit to be desired, we're having connection difficulties and the older style of remote isn't ideal for interacting with the Tizen interface. She may just end up using a separate device like a Roku. 2 HDMI is to be expected for the price point but one composite video connection would have been nice for older devices. We also do not enjoy the lack of a paper manual. Also to be noted is the "dialogue boost" audio option was a selling point for her as she is hard of hearing but I cannot find this setting anywhere in the audio or accessibility settings so I think its listed inclusion is in error.

Picture is good for the cost of the TV. It does seem to have an underpowered processor or glitchy OS as at times there is a significant delay between the time the key on the remote is activated and the command is executed. This is true for switching programs on a streaming service, or adjusting the Samsung settings.

Over a period of 2 months I purchased and tested 4 TVs, ranging from $300-$2400. This is the one that stayed, and with the lower price point it was a win! The picture quality from every angle, system user interface, and ability to customize with ease is why I chose it. I did purchase an LG sound bar to go with it. What I learned during the testing process is the sound quality on TVs nowadays is not good. I even tried the SONY where the sound comes from the screen ($2,400)which sounded great in store, but when it was set up at home the sound quality was not there and I would have needed to add a sound bar. I would purchase this Samsung TV again, and do recommend it.

Started looking for a tv that would fit into an open space in our game room. We decide to go with the 58 inches because of the size and the price was also a plus. We have had it sit up for little over 3 weeks without any issues. All of our guess have something to say about our new game room and our new TV.

Can't beat it for the price. Geat picture, easy setup. Adding additional apps is a breeze. A voice remote would be the only thing that could make it better. The sound is decent, but is so much better with a soundbar.
