Customers are saying

Customers praise the double oven, ease of use, and attractive appearance of the 6.0 cu. ft. Flex Duo Front Control Slide-in Gas Convection Range with Smart Dial & Air Fry. Many appreciate the numerous features and elegant design. However, some users note that the stainless steel finish is prone to scratches and fingerprints. The fingerprint resistance may not be as effective as advertised.

Oven has about 8 different modes to cook. Only issue I had was that our gas line needs to be lowered for this to slide in all the way and there was a little trick to close the storage drawer if opened all the way that are not listed on the manual (there are lock latches that need to be moved). But these are not issues with the appliance, but more user error. We have a Smart Things hub already and connecting it to my network was very simple. Even though the oven states it's fingerprint proof, the LED screen and control dial will get fingerprints, but easily removed with a wet cloth. So far exceeds our expectations and glad we held off for this model.

I replaced an electric double oven range with this gas slide-in Range and could not be happier. I especially like that you can have a double oven or use as one large oven.

I bought this range for my elderly parents. The large and close display is user friendly. The ease of use was exactly what they needed. I purchased the total tech plan and was able to have a tutorial visit by and expert to go over all the great features with them! I recommend this range hands down!

    Avoid Samsung Appliances

We bought Samsung appliances three years ago: a fridge, a double oven range and microwave. We’ve already spent $300 on repairing the refrigerator, replaced the microwave, and had Samsung replace a faulty temperature sensor while unit was under warranty. Most disturbing is that the temperature sensor failed again recently and I contacted Samsung because our house filled with smoke and I was alarmed at the significant fire hazard risk to us and fellow unsuspecting consumers. In fact, if you do a Google search, you will see that there is a class action lawsuit out there for the same problem. When I first called Samsung, I was optimistic that they were going to take responsibility for this issue, but I am horrified to report that they are tech came out and reported an infestation in our unit as the cause of the problem. There is absolutely no infestation. We tried using the oven because the Samsung tech said it was safe and got a C20 error message. We had another technician come out from a different company and they reported that yes or oven was heating past the set point and that someone unplugged the temperature censor causing the C20 error message. When the tech plugged the temp sensor back in the oven overheated. No infestation. Please see the attached job order from Samsung versus the report from an independent tech today. I was on the phone with Samsung for 45 minutes and they decided that I should have pest control to come out and confirm that there is no infestation and then call them back. I recommended they send pest control to verify the integrity of their technician. Nope. Can’t do it because infestations are not covered by warranty, I’m sure they use that diagnosis quite a bit. I’m super disappointed. Samsung had the best features, but has not been worth the money at all. The safety issue is the biggest dealbreaker for me.

The product lives up to its claims as it provides more than sufficient burner power and is easy to operate. The wireless compatibility with operating devices make it a breeze to prepare meals while away.

Bought this to replace a 20 year old drop in oven. The five burner top and double oven is wonderful. It provides convection and we only have to use the top oven most of the time. The 22,000 BTU burner is crazy and heats up water very fast. We have not used the air fryer as of yet. Hope it will hold up as long as our last one.

A great range with powerful burners, and it comes with a detachable wok burner. The double oven is a great feature, and it doesn't take up anymore space than a regular-sized oven. Also, very attractive!

It’s nice and there are no problems so far (14 months old). I like that i can set the oven to turn aften after timer completes. That may not be unique to this iven, but mynild oven didnt have this and it is a huge convenience to me. Some things i am not thrilled with. 1-Air Fryer only works in full oven mode. (While divided upper and lower parts can only handle some settings. Ie conventional bake lower, convection bake upper). 2-divider only fits in the middle so you have to leave it in or have a place to store. 3-App is lack luster. You can’t start it remotely.

Great equipment for first time gas in the house. It has the double oven where it gives 100% of flexibility to make two different foods at the same time. Although we have to get use to not electric, compared to before, things warm up faster in the stove as well as in the ovens. Now, hope reliability on the equipment.

When you go from a basic GE gas stove (built in 1985 - seriously) to a new Samsung like this, you experience quite a learning curve. I predict it will take my wife and me about a year to ”dial in” the appropriate use of this versatile stove and convection oven. The dual temp, dual convection oven is easy to use, quick to get to preheat temp (especially with the app), and crazy efficient at cooking, air frying, and baking. For the kids, fries and chicken strips are crispy in less time. Air fried foods are the same. Each burner on the stovetop is hotter than it looks (a good thing in my mind) and the only issue I have is that the flat top griddle is smaller than the number of pancakes my two high school-aged athletic boys require to fill their gullets. They eat in bulk (quantity over quality - even though my pancakes are fluffy and delicious). We are very happy with this stove even though it makes our 125 year old home look like it's a barn housing a new Ford Mustang GT 500 (my wife's words - I'm very proud of her).

Looks good, stainless steel range scratches easily because it is shiny. The interface is excellent. The lower oven seems to be a little off in temperature, but we learned to compensate.
