I'm disappointed. My initial complaint was that the technology does not match the hype. I expected more control through my phone. I really don't need texts telling me that the the oven has reached the desired temperature, but i would like to know how many minutes are left on the timer. It doesn't do that. I also expected to be able to program the oven to, for example, change temperature after a designated number of minutes. It doesn't do that. Definitely a missed opportunity that wouldn't be that hard to program. Also, it only comes with 2 racks even though there are 7 positions. Having more cubic space is useless without enough racks to put food on. The range looks okay, but it is made of rather flimsy sheet metal. It's also hard to keep clean, but that's the fault of the surface material.

I have two years with it but have call for services two time for repairs and I don’t think was the best bought now it’s show an error C-f2 and the oven turned on by itself that was so scary.

This is a great stove. I'm glad i made the purchase.

It’s a beautuful range and the soze of the oven is large and roomy. However its not sturdy. The top silver surface scraches and gets damaged VERY easily. If you’re not gery careful with every move you make while cooking and cleaning, you will start seeing damage on it right away. I returned it within 3 weeks of purchase as it had several scratches already.

Great stove except…the knob on the left back burner fell off. It stopped adjusting the flame and moves around loosely. Feels like it lost its threading etc. Otherwise good basic stove.

On May 8th we had our Samsung 6.0 cu. ft. Smart Freestanding Gas Range Model NX60A6711SS/AA delivered. We received the range at a discount for our honest review. My wife and I were excited because our previous gas range was 20+ years old and was beginning to develop serious issues which warranted an upgrade. One of the first things I did was connect the Samsung Range to my home Wi-Fi network through the SmartThings app on my smartphone. The process was quite easy and did not take much time to complete the connection. The reason for taking the time to add it to our network is that we use Samsung devices in our household. Getting messages on our Samsung QLED TV when the pre heating is done or cooking was finished is a very nice feature to have. Through the SmartThings app you have the ability to view the temperature, cook time, even to turn on the oven light. It comes in handy giving you the ability to monitor the oven from a different room. My wife decided that the first thing she would make using the oven was a Lasagna which took less time to cook then our old stove but also cooked the meal evenly with the melted cheese on the top being a perfect golden brown. One other nice feature is the griddle on the stovetop my wife has already used it to make French toast, and grilled cheese sandwiches both of which came out perfectly. I personally am not the cook in our family my skills are limited to using the air fryer function of the oven. Which is an incredible option to have in our new range. I mean it is awesome to have the ability to air fry without the need to preheat the oven. I put a couple pieces of frozen plant based chicken patties in the air fryer and I have to say that the air fryer did a great job of cooking the patties both crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Samsung Range fits seamlessly in our smart home and if I had to use one word to describe it I would use the word convenience. I would normally worry about having a stainless steel device but have had a very easy time keeping it clean. My wife and I love our new Samsung Gas Range and look forward to cooking more at home.

After 27 years of using our gas range since we moved into our house, we decided to replace it. On thanksgiving our over the range Samsung microwave oven blew out after only about 10 years. Since we were at Best Buy on Black Friday, we decided to replace both cooking appliances. It was a good decision. The new features such as easy clean surface, Wi-Fi operation, griddle burner in center of surface area and different sizes of burners are great. I have not used Air Fry or convection features yet. I need to take time to look up info on the online manual. The stainless steel range itself looks great and matches the stainless steel microwave oven for a perfect look in our small kitchen. So far, we're happy cooking and baking in our new Samsung appliances!

So I have had this range for a couple weeks and this is a real review unlike a lot of others I see that have been paid for their review by a discount or free oven. The burners all work very well and are powerful. The front 2 you will need a pot with a 8" diameter to cover all of the flame, or it will heat up the sides of your pot. The oven has a vent that comes out the top over the burners in the middle where the griddle is, so when the oven is on it is like a hot air fan blowing over the top of the burners, so make sure you have the top cleared off like noodle boards or anything sitting on top as they will burn. My old oven did not have a vent here. It also makes the room hotter than my old oven. The air fryer says that it doesn't require a pre-heat, but it still really does, your just not manually doing it. If you want to air-fry something for say 15 minutes, you cant put 15 minutes into the timer and hit start as the oven wont be up to temp for at least 7 or 8 minutes and your food will be undercooked. My stand alone air fryer heats up within 30 seconds so a 15 minute timer on it is closer to the actual 15 minutes. If coming from one of those you will need to adjust your time and add 7-10 minutes so the oven can heat up. I still use my stand alone air fryer for smaller meals as it is faster than the one in this oven. Another thing, when you set the temp on the air fryer and hit start, it never displays what temp the oven is at so you have no idea when it is actually to the correct temp. In the oven setting it does show the temp, just not in the air fry mode. The Smarthings app seems to work pretty well but to receive notifications when something is done cooking, it only does that in the bake mode, So if you air fry something and set a timer, you will not get a notification. You will only get one if you are in the bake mode. The timer should notify anytime it counts down and in any mode, I have contacted smart things and they said they would put it in a future update but no idea when that may be. I have seen reviews here that say they use the app to turn the oven on, you cannot do that due to safety reasons. The manual states that you cannot turn a gas oven on with the app so the reviewers are incorrect. You can turn the oven off with the app though or thru Alexa. Overall it was a great upgrade to my last one as the burners are very powerful and boil a large pot of water in no time. The convection oven also works very well.

This range is by far one of the nicest looking and feature packed models currently available. Before choosing this model we looked around at a lot of different ranges and was blown away by the fact this one has not only convection but has an air fry mode with included basket, dehydration mode, extra large 6.0 cuft oven, 5th burner plus the griddle and WiFi controls besides! The included griddle is so smooth and slippery that not even the cheesiest grilled cheese sandwich will stick. Out family loves the air fry feature, the basket is large enough to feed all 4 of us chicken fingers and French fries all cooked at the same time. The no preheat air fry setting gets hot fast and cooked everything crispy yet the chicken was super moist and tender. This range was a good fit into the style and decor of our kitchen and works and looks great with the rest of our existing appliances. We choose to self install the range, unpackaging was simple, the instructions to convert from natural gas to propane were well written and had good pictures and illustrations to follow. The whole process took maybe 45 minutes, between conversion, hook up and putting the grates and burners together. The WiFi features are simple to setup, allows you to set up the temp and timer and notifies you when the oven is preheated and ready to go or if when your meal is done. Also notifies you if the door is open and you can see if the burners are on. I never thought I would use the app but have found it very useful. Another feature we love is the grates on the top that go side to side and front to back, unlike our previous range we are able use oversized pots snd pans without any problem. The stainless steel finish is exceptionally good looking and cleans up well and with ease. The bottom drawer as others have pointed out is small but works good. The knobs to control the burners have a good quality look and feel good when you use them. Overal we are extremely pleased with our purchase and will recommend to all our friends and family!

We recently replaced our old gas stove of over 20 years with this Samsung model, and it has been a fantastic upgrade! The 6.0 cu. ft. oven capacity gives us plenty of room, making it perfect for family meals and holiday baking. The convection feature cooks evenly, and the built-in air fryer works great without needing any preheat time—saving both time and effort. The WiFi connectivity is a cool bonus. It allows us to control and monitor the oven remotely, which has been surprisingly handy. Plus, the stainless steel finish adds a sleek, modern touch to our kitchen. Overall, it’s been a wonderful experience so far. If you're looking to replace an older model like we did, this range is an excellent choice for both functionality and aesthetics!

Omg! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was to finally receive my brand new Samsung stove. It comes with all the bells and whistles of a top notch product in the industry! I loved loved loved the generous sized air fry tray (can’t wait to get rid of my teeny tiny machine now)! It’s a decent size to feed a family of 5 or more. Plus, the no preheat is an added feature. I was equally amazed at how quickly the burners heat up! The flame is consistent and the variety of burners make cooking several dishes at a time a breeze! I’m someone who loves to cook and entertain and this has come as an added blessing in my life. The rapid boil is insane! I wasn’t expecting it to be this perfect... weather you’re boiling eggs or making tea, it’s amazing! Additionally, If you download the app, it has the feature to remotely operate your oven! You can control the temperature settings and start cooking while you’re away from home! How cool is that! It also come with a cast iron griddle and I can’t wait to sizzle some steaks in that! My family loves em! Last but not the least, my favorite part is that it’s clean up is a breeze. I literally just lift up the grates halfway and wipe down underneath after cooking. It’s that easy. The surface is so shiny and smooth (I got the silver one), nothing sticks to it or burns it down! I’m truly in love and very satisfied with my new range!

I opted for this model because it has what I wanted plus the area around the burners was stainless steel instead of black. Everything about this gas range screams quality. It has many unusual functions including air fry, 5 different burner sizes as well as dehydrate and bread proofing temperatures for the oven. it has a large double ring burner (17,000 BTU) on the front right corner suitable for an oversize pot to use for something like a large pot of pasta, boiling lobster etc. If you setup the Samsung "smart things" function, you can sync the digital clock to your smartphone so you never have to set the clock! The amount of stainless steel makes this range very easy to keep clean.

I love this range/oven. I don’t know why we waited so long. My old gas range/oven was very old school and weak. This oven is accurate and even cooking. The air fryer is great to have built in. My favorite thing is the burners. One is great for maintaining a simmer, one is similar to what I used to have, and two of them are super powerful - I think they are 18,000 BTU. This is great for frying, stir frying, using a WOK. You name it, it has the right burner strength. Plus it has a griddle in the center. I’m in heaven!

All features are useful and easy to use. I love it. This is the best stove I ever owned. The Air Fry works great. Also love the integrated griddle (removable) in the middle of the stove, the WIFI connectivity, and timer resets for safe and effective long duration cooking. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I have had the stove for 1 month. It works great, easy to clean, griddle has been used multiple times and cooks evenly. Air fry is a great option instead if frying which we have used. I love the bottom drawer slides in and out easily. I have been researching for at least 6 months and have been going back and forth between the Samsung & LG. Samsung easily won, griddle and bottom drawer were a win win. No comparison. Best of all was the price saved at least $400 by purchasing Samsung.
