I have not noticed an odor like we experienced with our prior front load washer although we do dry out the door seal after use and leave the door open to completely dry. My only complaint is that you need to be extremely careful with the amount of detergent used. If you fill the reservoir any more than half what they state as max, you will be dealing with MAJOR suds. Use detergent sparingly (which isn't a bad thing when it comes to saving money).

Don't waste your money in trash.

I am disappointed with Samsung for this product, because I paid almost 1700 and 2 months later the upper washing machine already broke down, of course I paid for guarantee which is extra money but it is only for 5 years and now they can fix it, but after those 5 years what will happen? if new and no longer useful, I don't want to imagine being 5 years old. My old washing machine spent $ 400 and 10 years later it still works. SAMSUNG THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I want my refund
