So many Pros of upgrading to Samsung Induction!

Absolutely loving the upgrade to this Induction range (from an old gas oven). After purchasing induction-ready stainless steel cookware, the process of cooking couldn't be more enjoyable, except it took a bit of time adjusting to the particulars of stainless steel cookware. Pros -- 1) Boiling water every day for tea/coffee only takes ~2mins. 2) no more hot-spots when cooking using full-clad stainless cookware. 3) Easy easy easy Clean-up, just wipe. No more having to scrub up and under the gas grill and burning elements. 4) So much more efficient (~90% vs ~40% w/ gas). 5) Safer. Even if you accidentally turn on a HOB, nothing gets hot unless there's an induction compatible cookware sitting on top. 6) So much cooler. Even after boiling water, pretty much right after you lift away the hot kettle, the surface of the cooktop is almost cool enough to the touch. This mean in the heat of summer, the kitchen will stay so much cooler. 7) The convection oven/air-fry feature also works great! 8) At the time of purchase, Samsung was offering free 2nd year Warranty and a 5pc Circulon Induction Cookware. 9) No more worrying about breathing gas fumes. The only Cons that I can think of so far is that a gas range is better suited to heat/cook Asian style woks. Also, the electricity bill will be slightly more expensive. Just hoping that the range will last for years and years to come!

Sleek Design, OK Performance with Smart Features

I’ve been using the Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Slide-in Induction Range for a week now, and my initial rating is 4 stars. So far, it’s been a great addition to my kitchen with a sleek design and modern features.
Positives:
✔ Great Aesthetics – The stainless steel finish looks premium and blends well with my kitchen.
✔ Smart Connectivity – The Wi-Fi integration with SmartThings is a nice touch, allowing remote monitoring and control.
✔ Precision Cooking – The heat control is incredibly accurate, making cooking more efficient.
✔ Power Boost Mode – This feature heats up quickly, reducing wait times for boiling and searing.
Areas for Improvement:
➖ Cookware Sensitivity – Since it’s induction, it requires very specific cookware. Some of my existing pots and pans didn’t work.
➖ No Auto-Off Timer – While there’s a general kitchen timer, it doesn’t link to cooking functions, which would have been a helpful safety feature.
Overall, so far, so good, and I’m enjoying the performance. If anything changes with longer use, I’ll update my review.
Would I recommend it? Yes, if you’re looking for a stylish, high-tech induction range and don’t mind the cookware limitations.

Very happy with this range. Induction burners are fantastic. Air Fry setting is a little weak. Mostly have to double time on normal air fry recipes (though I assume those recipes are for those little counter top air fryers).
My only annoyance with this range, and it seems all induction ranges, is that it has no back splash. I worry about the day I have a big spill on the stove top and liquid pours into the vent on the back. I’ve already managed to drop bits of food behind the stove. I don’t understand this design trend on modern stoves.

This stove is amazing! It all starts with the looks, it's gorgeous! The sleek look in combination of the smooth top and blue lit flames on my pans, so pretty! Then, if I pick the pan up and walk away it beeps to remind me then turns the burner off if I don't put the pan back. Another very cool feature is that it connects with my wifi and phone to tell me when the oven is preheated, when the timer is up and to top that off, it all has adorable little tunes that plays at the timer completion! It heats up quick, it cools quickly and just overall a very nice addition to any kitchen!

Very attractive and easy to use. We have its legs adjusted to the lowest level but it is still about 1/4 inch too high so the back side of the range does not sit flat on the granite. I’m guessing that is going to create some cleanup issues.

Broke just two months after the warranty expired. I contacted Samsung immediately, and after negotiations, they agreed to cover labor and parts for the repair. However, despite three attempts by certified technicians, the range remains unrepaired after over four weeks. Samsung's delay in resolving the issue has caused significant inconvenience and disruption.
Furthermore, the technicians sent by Samsung have not only failed to fix the range but have also caused additional visible damage. Repeatedly opening and closing the appliance introduces new potential errors, making it prone to future breakdowns even if repaired now.
Samsung's customer service representatives have been unresponsive to my needs, disregarding my concerns and failing to provide updates. This lack of communication and accountability reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.

I've owned this only a week, so I cannot speak to how it will hold up, and I haven't yet used all the bells and whistles.
What I can say is that it is so far magnificent. This is my first induction range, and it replaced a glass top electric range. It responds as fast as gas but actually heats up faster. What's really interesting is how gently it cooks. I'd heard there is a bit of a learning curve with induction, but I guess I'd read enough about it — and had used an induction hotplate previously — that it's less a learning curve than a curve of becoming increasingly impressed.
We get used to turning an electric burner on high in the hopes that it will heat up faster. With induction — and like gas, but even with gas, I think we tend to turn up the flame to get a pan to heat up faster — you simply turn it to the setting you plan on cooking, and the temperature is nearly immediate — more immediate than with gas.
I do a lot of cooking with a wok, and I was leery that induction would spread the heat in a wok the way gas does. With a great wok — mine is carbon steel from Made In — that has a flat bottom, it works almost as well as a dedicated wok burner.
But, really, for everything, it seems to be a gentler, more even cooking process. Certainly great pans help, but I'm using all the same, except had to replace my two non-stick aluminum skillets with the purchase of this stove.
Cleaning the stovetop is easier than a glass top electric, as it typically doesn't get as hot as a conventional electric, so the burned-on stains aren't as glued on. But it still does require a squirt of stovetop cleaner to bring back the streak-free shine.
I will say I'm slightly disappointed that it seems to scratch easier than my olde electric range, which I find surprising, but perhaps I notices the scratches more because it's new. And perhaps I just have to learn to be more careful when tossing things as I sauté them.
As for the oven, so far, so good. I've so far used it for cookies, a cake and a small roast, as well as a couple of veggie sides on sheet pans. I've tried only the Bake and Convection Bake modes, and they seem fine, but what stands out is the intuitive controls and that great knob that does everything. I'm the type who actually downloaded the 210-page full instruction book, and I did actually take the time to read it, but I started using the oven , stove and timer functions without having to read it.
One drawback about the oven is that while it technically has more cubic footage than my old one, full-size cookie sheets must go in cross-wise. They won't fit going in the long way. This may be a result of the convection fan. So, I may be able to fit a taller turkey, but I cannot put two cookie sheets side-by-side on one rack.
Note that the touchscreen is glass, which looks and feels (and cleans) better than the kind that's a malleable piece of plastic.
Now, for some of the bells and whistles:
The virtual flame technology, which for me was a negative because I just don't like gimmicks, is actually kind of neat and only on the big burner. It's possible to turn it off deep in the settings, but I haven't done so.
The wifi connectivity so far seems fairly worthless. I guess I'd hoped I could be at my son's baseball game and tell the oven to start preheating so it would be hot when I got home. No such luck. All it seems to do is give me status updates of things I've told the range to do in-person. So, I have to set it to preheat there at the stove, but I can be out in the garage (or anywhere, I guess), and the phone notifies me when it has preheated. There's a feature with the oven timer that will turn off the stove when the timer goes off, so that's kind of nice getting that notification while not in the kitchen, but, of course, the residual heat in the oven stays there after being turned off, so you still have to get back to the kitchen to remove a dish when it goes off.
Still getting used to the sounds it makes when the oven notifies you of it preheating, and the sound of the alarm when the timer ends. But, I have not noticed sounds (clicking or buzzing) they say are normal with the induction cooktop.
This range was not my first choice. I had ordered a GE Cafe induction range initially from another store, but because of the supply-chain interruptions of covid, it was going to be October before I could receive it. So I started my research again and found myself choosing between the Samsung and LG models because having knobs (over touchscreen only) is important to me. While I and everyone who's seen it likes the look of the Samsung, to me, the styling is more television set than stove. Those knobs that I like so much have rings around them that already tend to attract grease spots in small places that are hard to clean up. Obviously the designers of this never actually cooked on a prototype and then cleaned it afterward. Same with the knurled oven knob. Yes, it's great and works well, but grease tends to be attracted to the low points in the knurling.
One more random drawback that I'll learn to live with:
The curved oven handle just doesn't protrude enough to hang a dish towel on easily or quickly. Yes, it's possible to do, but it's a bit like threading a needle.
There are, of course, going to be drawbacks with any new appliance, but those I've experienced so far are minimal, and it's been fun so far to experience just how well this thing does the job it was designed for.
Because it's based on so many electronics and because of the problems I've read about in other reviews, I went ahead and sprang for the 3-year Best Buy plan. Fingers crossed that's money thrown away and that I'll never have to use it!

Crazy Deal On Induction!

Got this with a Best Buy Plus membership discount. The full retail on it is $3104.99 (typical wherever it's sold). We got it for $999! Not sure why Best Buy has discounted it so much, but we haven't found it anywhere else for less than $2299.99. That's a crazy discount!!!
It's an induction cooktop, which we wanted, so you must have induction capable cookware, which we have. Temperature control is precise with ultra quick response. Pans heat up lightning quick. We can boil an 8.5 Qt. stock pot 2/3 full of water in less than 2 minutes. Cleanup is beyond simple. Just wait for the cooktop to cool off a little, which is quick given that the cooktop isn't what's being heated, spray on a little bit of mild (cooktop safe) cleaner and wipe it clean.
The oven has been used to bake cookies, cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, pizza and several other items. It heats up more quickly than serveral other ovens we have used and seems to saturate very efficiently, so don't have to pre-heat for as long to get great results. It's beautiful to look at, too!
We've had it for a month and use it basically every day. No problems! Very happy!

Top of the line performance

I'm thrilled with the way the cooktop and oven work. Induction heating is the way all future stovetops will be. The stove works great, and having real knobs to turn is great.
Here are the things that I don't like.
1. Air fryer - isn't really an air fryer. It's more like convection cooking that didn't need preheating, and it doesn't perform like a good air fryer does.
2. With nearly every pan, there is a buzzing noise when full power is used. It's not horrible, but it's not silent either.
3. The glossy black top is difficult to keep clean. It's beautiful when it is freshly cleaned, though. Even more difficult to clean than the top is the touch-pad controls.
4. Sounds. You can choose all the sounds at full volume, or none of the sounds (not even the timer will make a noise). When the sounds are on, EVERY time you make any adjustment or lift a pot up, it beeps.
That's it! It really is a beautiful stove. It feels like a top of the line product. Even the bottom drawer is on real rollers. Classy!

I’ve cooked on gas, moved to convection, and now that I’ve made the jump to induction, I can confidently say: I’m never going back. This Samsung 6.3 cu. ft. Slide-in Induction Range is the best appliance I’ve ever had in my kitchen.
The induction cooktop is lightning-fast and incredibly precise — I was surprised how much better it performs compared to gas. It heats only the pan, not the whole surface, so it’s safer and easier to clean. No more burnt-on messes!
The Smart Dial and WiFi connectivity make it super modern and user-friendly. I love being able to preheat or check cooking progress right from my phone.
The Air Fry feature is an unexpected favorite — crispy results without the guilt. And the 6.3 cu. ft. oven space gives me all the room I need for baking, roasting, or holiday meals.

I was skeptical about electric ranges (always was a gas range guy); nevertheless, induction electric is different. It's very fast to heat up, but also to cold down, it doesn't have that inertia of normal electric stoves. It has some nice features, as for the lighted knobs or the illuminated burner that simulates the fire. The oven also works very good, it has air fry included, which is a nice feature and works just fine (you will not need to add another appliance to your countertop). I only have two complains: one, it doesnt have a timer, the only timer is for the oven, but it only works along with the oven on, you cannot use it for keeping cooking time in the stove; the other point of improvement is that in the app you can set the temperature for the oven but you cannot start remotely, so I don't really see the point of that feature. Lastly, when you compare it other similar brands, this product is affordable.

Absolutely amazing, beautiful as well as functional. I’ve been struggling for a long time with regular electric stoves. They seem to only have two settings - too hot and too cold. Almost impossible to set a “gentle boil” and other settings. Finally, the induction is here. It’s responsive, precise and super quick too. The water heats up faster than in the kettle. The best feature with this precise one is that the heat is controlled with knobs, and there’s no need to push any buttons. It’s beautiful, especially the light feature on the big space. It also has convection in the oven. Recommend highly to anyone looking for sophisticated cooking.

We purchased this range during the Black Friday deal. Oh yes, we got a great deal! I love this range. It has so many cooking features and is very easy to use. It has an induction cooktop which I have not used before and I love how quickly and evenly it heats. We had a countertop air fryer which we can now give away since the air fryer feature on the oven is now my go to way to cook most things. Could not be happier with this purchase especially for the price. But after using it, I would actually buy it at full price.
