This is my 4th Samsung TV that I have purchased over the years and I am very happy with it. I needed a TV to anchor my new TV room and this 60incher fit the bill. Good Quality, Great price. The only limitation, is that it is not 4K (which I was not in the market for) and it only has 2 HDMI ports, however I have it running through a receiver (with cable, surround sound, XBOX, PS4 and Google Chromecast) coming out, so it is not an issue. I would definitely recommend this TV for someone that wants alot of TV for not alot of $.

I was lucky. My old plasma set failed. On Black Friday morning. Being a fan of Samsung, I started looking online for a replacement. I didn't want 4K, and I didn't want curved, and I've got 3D covered so didn't need that feature, either. The Samsung J6200 series fit the requirements perfectly. The 60" was on a really good sale price, but Best Buy's website showed out-of-stock in Arizona. I went to the local store, anyway, to look for alternatives. They had a sample set on the wall, and as luck would have it...they had exactly one in stock. I took it home.
Performance-wise, I'm very happy with the set. It's taken me a bit of time go get used to LED vs. plasma. The J6200 series offers 120 Hz frame rates, but it's still more difficult to follow a hockey puck than it was on my plasma's 600 Hz refresh rate. I also had some issues (pilot error) with skin tones, and managed to mess up the colors pretty badly, but going back to the default got me up and running again. I found the adjustment I needed to make, and things are great.
For a 60" set, it's easy to handle. I set it up by myself. Audio quality for the in-set speakers is adequate, but no replacement for my 7.1 system. The remote, though, is a downgrade from the one that came with my 51" 3D plasma, with no backlighting being the biggest loss. Picture quality, for an LED set, is very good. Compared to older LED technology, it's a clear improvement, but you do get that graying out effect when well off-center (more than 45°).
Would I buy it again? Yes.

Amazing viewing experience. I did lots of research before buying this one and I'm very glad I did. Excellent fast motion tracking for this price point. Remote is a little clumsy to navigate the streaming stuff and the included stand does not allow you to adjust the "tilt" of the screen. Other than that, I absolutely love this TV! Easy set up. Unbelievably clear picture and depth of color. The sound is pretty good as well but an added sound bar completes a totally immersive viewing experience when watching your favorite movies.

We wanted a smart TV that was 1080p with a good picture. The picture is great, we aren't people that measure the angle at which there is some degradation in the color. I really don't care for that, the picture looks great no matter your angle. Could it be better, yes but this only cost $700 so you can't really expect a $5,000 picture for that price.
Having said that, the computer the powers that TV is woeful and Samsung is known for it's poor software upgrade cycle (read, doesn't fix anything, only creates more problems with updates). So you can't watch flash based videos on the web browser. The remote control signal is painfully slow at times, you even begin to wonder if you pressed the button at all. The layout and design of the remote is also poorly thought out. My wife has small hands and it's not comfortable, I have average to large hands and it's not comfortable. The play buttons are down the bottom of the remote which is beveled so you struggle not to drop it when you need to use those buttons. Overall the software and processing power of this TV is pathetic. I'm not talking $700 pathetic, I'm talking the software team should be sent back to school and made to use this TV until it infuriates them so they learn pathetic.
Overall, the size and picture value of a $700 TV make up for the poor software but beware that if you are expecting a fantastic user experience, consider getting a different TV or at least one of those smart universal remotes.

Needed a new tv since my 13yr old tv had trouble turning on right away. After wks of research of a variety of tvs and websites I kept coming back to this one! I wanted a Samsung or Sony. It fits perfectly! The price couldn't be beat. Free shipping got me sold! I trusted Best Buy more than the other sites and if any issues I could always go to the store and shop for accessories as well. Ordering was simple and the delivery staff was professional and nice! It took a bit of getting used to coming from an old tv, the picture is so clear and real. I set up the channels, color picture preferences as I always do. The sound is pretty loud and I can adjust the equalizer so no new speakers are necessary. Only thing is the remotes sensitive and I feel like I'm going to wear it out easy. Also its more standard than I thought it was going to be and I keep pressing the wrong buttons by mistake since they're so close to each other and the remotes actually smaller than my last tvs. Thats a minor issue of course than the wonderful tv I get to look at everyday! I haven't set up my phone, dvd player or game console yet but I know its going to be cool and amazing! I set the tv by myself and I'm petite but had the accessories to assist since it's heavy. It was simple except trying to screw in the bolts. It didnt seem to want to fit but made sure it did since I'm using the stand to support the tv.

I have a Visio 49" in my Den, which has been fine, but the Samsung has set the bar quite a bit higher. I rented a Blu-ray DVD and everyone commented that the picture was so lifelike, that it seemed as though we were on the set during filming. I just want the 1080 version of Casino Royal on cable last night and guess what? The picture was equally as good as the DVD.
A MUST BUY!

The Sony picture is very sharp and my husband loves that he can see the grass on the football field. It is the perfect size for our room and was easy to handle and set up. We cannot send a picture as we are not at the condo in Florida where the TV is located. We will not be going to the first of next year. Thanks

When the TV in my bedroom broke, I was looking to purchase a larger TV for the living room (and then move the older one to the bedroom). This is the one I decided on after reading countless reviews and comparing prices. It is exactly what I hoped for from Samsung: a quality product that still holds its own even though it's not the latest model.
When I booted it up, I had to wait for it to update (which took about 15 minutes total) before I could begin using it. There is an option to update later, but I didn't want to start out with an outdated firmware. I had some minor issues with the SmartHub (app store) at first, but I think the TV was still trying to run some background setup tasks. The day after I bought it, everything loaded fine.
I test the picture quality by watching some Planet Earth clips on Netflix, and I am very impressed. Everything was crisp and the default video options (Dynamic, Standard, Movie, Cinema, Sports) were sufficient for me to get a satisfactory picture.
Streaming from my GS7 Edge was a little choppy, but I usually use Chromecast for that anyway.
The reasons my rating is 4 stars instead of 5 include those listed above (Issues with smarthub and streaming from device) and the occasional lag time when switching between Apps and other inputs you are likely to run into with ANY smart TV these days. If anyone has any questions before buying, I'll try to respond to replies.
Overall, I think it's in the running for best value on the site at $699.
Oh, the stand is a little wobbly, too.

Great TV for the price. It was worth it & I would recommend it to anyone looking for a new TV. I had a 46" Samsung and wanted to go bigger. I wanted 60" or bigger. I read many reviews, searched the 4K vs non-4K, smart TV vs non-smart TV (which you really can't find anymore). I did a lot of searching and compared prices and sizes. In everything I researched the 4K wasn't worth the extra money yet and there isn't a big enough of a difference to pay the higher prices. I got free delivery and got it the week after black Friday. I haven't had any issues setting it up or any other issues so far. I love this TV!!

I purchased this tv as an open box item so I was buying based on price. Ideally I would've purchased a 65" 4K but the price difference was vast. Of course 1 month later, 4K sale prices brought cost within $300 of this tv. That coupled with the fact that this tv has only 2 hdmi ports makes me regret the purchase. If I had to do it again I would've waited and got my ideal tv. Oh well... I guess I'll get an 8k tv in 5 years.
This tv works fine. The smart features work pretty well and so far have had no issues with the set. This set is perfect for someone that wants a big name brand tv and has a budget. Being a smart tv it doesn't really need many hdmi inputs unless you have a lot of peripheral devices like myself. I do have a 3 port hdmi selector which is necessary for me and be purchased for 10 bucks online. My only other knock on this tv is the remote is not user friendly. After a month of using it I find I still hit the wrong buttons when using remote by feel as the buttons are all the same color and approximate size.

This TV is a great buy at 628.00 which was a matched price. The price is up now, but still a great tv. Picture is very good. I don't really use the smart features but they look like they work well and the browser feature is nice if you want a very big picture of your websites. The set up with Dish Network is easy and the HD pictures are great. If you don't need 2160 resolution this 1080p is great. I would highly recommend the TV.

Full disclosure - this is my first full 1080p flat screen television so I'm bound to be astonished. That said, this model is 1) huge (but not obnoxiously), 2) crisp picture and 3) about as easy to use as the old dials and knobs...ok, maybe not that easy. Setup was a breeze and normal use is pretty straight forward. Let's talk picture...viewing angle is as described. I had to get kinda crazy on the viewing before the picture starts washing out. The colors are fantastic - whether action, dark scenes, bright colors or just Joe-on-the-street scenes, I've never been drawn to that "oh, that doesn't look right...it's kinda blotchy or it's kinda gray and not really black" thing that I get on my 720 screens. So overall picture I think is outstanding.
What about the "Smart" parts? The built in web browser was pretty awesome (and a surprise). I was able to use that with a group of cub scouts to go over some requirements (no laptop/projector setup required). the browser doesn't work with Flash so just be aware of the limitations. It also has all the typical apps you'd expect...netflix, hulu, amazon, etc. Overall the Smart Part is about what I'd expect but with the web browser it really made for a pleasant surprise...
Great all around TV especially when you consider the $.

This Samsung TV has great color, sharp picture, and looks good. I would, however, recommend, if you can't do it yourself, have the Geek Squad calibrate your HDTV. I was able to calibrate my Samsung HDTV with a HD calibration DVD tool and some internet research. The picture, after calibration, is awesome! Also, Best Buy was prompt and courteous in delivering & setting up my Samsung HDTV. Great TV, great price, and professional delivery from Best Buy. A winning combination!

tv has great color, clear picture, actually great sound also {I have read so much that tvs this thin need a sound bar, etc, but this one is excellent). However the samsung remote leaves much to be desired. I must turn tv on and off, and adjust level of sound, and then MUST use my cable remote for channel changing, pausing, fast forward or backward, etc. Everything else on samsung remote says "not available" when trying ANYTHING else, ( xcept smart hub getting me onto netflix). Not good at all. No one programmed the remote either one to be used exclusively. Very dissapointing. DO love the tv, however..Without the remote problems would give it 5 stars!

Love that it has so many different settings for changing & customizing the sound & color for watching T.V., Movies or playing Xbox 1. I can easily connect my Galaxy Note 8 or Galaxy Tab & stream vids or music in either direction w/ zero latency issues & coupled w/ the Samsung Sound Bar & Sub hooked up to this T.V. the sound immersion is PHENOMENAL for the total cost of the T.V. & Sound Bar, around $875 including 2yr warranties on both.
