Quality of picture was awful, faces blurred, resolution was just not good at all, disappointed after reading the countless good reviews

I purchased this tv a few days ago. The picture is even better than I expected. Easy to set up. Tv automatically set its self up and is able to control my dish network box with the remote that came with the tv. Having a small issue streaming mlb app. You will need fast Internet to be able to stream in 4k. Other than the mlb app not working group properly. It has been an excellent tv.

Picture quality was poor, sound was horrible, I had to turn the volume up so high to hear, and it still was not clear.

Needed a Quality monitor for our students. To me Samsung would be the BEST BUY in the market. So we check the reviews at others retailers, sale persons ability to explain with monitor would be the BEST BUY, professional deliverer in their presentation, and drawing a close relationship with me the customer. Thanks for meeting our expectation, because this is what we teach our students.

sorry i bought this samsung tv took it back and got another sony 65 4-k hr/ black instead. wasted time and money.

Broke less than a month after I purchased and getting repaired took over 5 hours on phone and Internet

There is some guttering that is annoying. Otherwise, the picture and other features are all good.

After 6 months, anything red or yellow would "vibrate". Samsung had someone come fix the issue and they replaced the panel. Two weeks later and now the entire picture jumps up and down, making anything unwatchable. Terrible product by Samsung, even worse customer service.

Pixalated on most sattelite tv and DVDs even with an upscaled blue ray 4k player

The best professional reviews of the KU6300 series are probably from Consumer Reports and 4K.com. This series is at the bottom of the Samsung UHD (Ultra High Definition) TV line. Yet it excels in multiple areas, and as would be expected for a budget set, sacrifices in others. Its overall picture quality is excellent- clarity, color, contrast, brightness, sharpness, etc. are superb. 4K up-scaling and Smart TV functions are as good as any TV in the Samsung line. Sound is adequate, though you would likely couple this unit with a soundbar/sound-base or home theater system. Smart remote functions also suffice, though again, you would likely use this TV with a universal remote such as one from the Logitech Harmony series. Out of the box, you should definitely experiment with picture/audio modes and other settings to achieve the optimal result. One of the chief compromises of the set relates to its HDR support. Samsung labels this unit, as they do other TVs in their KS series, as “HDR Premium.” The meaning of this is quite frankly confusing for most consumers. Ideally HDR compliance requires panels that support 10 bit or greater color and 1000 nits or more peak brightness. In addition, the TV must of course be able to read and translate the HDR signal. The KU series, including the 6300 models, does the latter, but does not comply with the HDR hardware specs. The result however is still striking and pleasing to the eye and I believe gives a much closer approximation of the visual intent of the Director. Because of the above, while picture quality watching a Blu Ray 4K UHD DVD is still superb on the KU6300- it is probably not as eye popping and impressive as on the Samsung SUHD (Super High Definition) TVs. The overall impression of this set is a well balanced performer and a good buy. I believe you would have to spend 70%-100% more to obtain a true HDR set- such as one in the Samsung SUHD TV KS series. And the truly best picture from the KU6300 series or more fully compliant HDR models still requires playing a 4K HDR Blu Ray DVD from the relatively small number of quality titles available. However, the much wider selection of HD/1080P Blu Ray- still looks quite good on all the Samsung UHD models because of great overall TV picture quality and a superb up-scaling engine. The relatively small number of 4K streaming titles also look good on these sets- though I still believe Blu Ray- whether 4K HDR or just HD is better than streaming because of the high streaming compression rates used by Amazon, Netflix and others.

We didn't abuse the tv at all, just normal use. Bought it in 2016, it waited until our 2 year support had lapsed, and started failing...

Needed an update to the TV in our living room. This is NOT our main TV and not used for critical viewing, more like casual viewing. We had a 2 year old 50 inch Samsung low end 1080p set that was OK, but was a tad small for the room and the credenza. We noticed this set on sale and it perked our interest. I read the reviews and compared it against a few other sets. There are not many 60 inch sets out there so that was a big plus for us. Also the price point just before XMAS the 60 inch was $300 off and the same price as the 55. For the price there really was no competition as anything reasonable for $100-$200 more and was only 55 inches. The Sony in the store looked a tad better, but for $200 more was not sure it was worth it, so we got he Samsung. The TV is very nice, has excellent picture and after a few tweaks the colors look very good. The real attraction to me as that this LED is back lit vs. edge lit which give you better screen uniformity for very bright scenes where there is a lot of white. On the down side the panel they use is not an IPS panel and thus the off center viewing take s hit qucikly. Contrast starts to fade and colors get a tad washed out when you get too far off center. The Sony is rated better for off center, so keep that in mind as to where everyone will be sitting. I am not a fan of the new remote with very few buttons, but then we will use our Directv remote most of the time. 4K content looks great and even 1080p has rich color depth. I have read that Samsung is not putting ads into their built in ads to target users, well that is sad, but then I rarely use the built in apps as I will take my Roku any day of the week. Got a new Roku Ultra so the Roku 4 moved to this TV and they area great combination. If you get this TV at a good price it is a great TV, if it is priced equal to say the Sony X850D then the choice becomes harder and I might go with the Sony. Thsi TV is a great step up form our 2 year old Samsung 50 inch that cost $550 2 years agao so to think for $150 more I now get a 60 inch 4K I can't complain.

Returned and purchased a Sony due to extremely poor picture quality, lack of vivid color and gray tint

we finally got a tv after 6 yrs of just using a projector. so happy we chose this. lots of features like netflix, youtube, pandora and smart view (all the things I really need it for). colors are bright and vibrant. picture is clear. and samsung tvs always last a long time! this was worth the price especially since we got it on black friday.
