I bought this TV because Samsung is the only manufacturer offering a 60" TV (65" was too big). CNET reviews said it's a nice TV but they preferred less expensive options for similar products. I stuck with the Samsung because it was 60" The TV picture is fine. No TV is better than the input source. Relatively 4K options are available. Prime Originals and some Netflix if you pay a premium. My problem is that I stream using YoutubeTv. This TV won't allow me to open the app unless I clear the cache. Then it plays fine until I try to open it the next time. I guess the TV has limited memory but this is pretty simple streaming. This is inexcusable. My other problem is that I can't view photos. I have a Samsung phone and I view photos using the Samsung Gallery. But Samsung stopped their cloud storage so photos can only be viewed on other apps like Google Photos or Amazon Photos. That's fine but this TV doesn't allow those apps. The only thing they have is the now obsolete Samsung Gallery.

      bdgan,

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q60A TV and for sharing your experience with viewing photos, as well as the YouTube TV app. If your app is freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again, deleting and downloading the apps again, and completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue.

Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Additionally, please know you can mirror your phone’s or tablet's photos to the Q60A using the SmartThings app. First, make sure the TV is turned on and connected to your SmartThings account.

      1. Using your phone or tablet, open the SmartThings app, and select the TV you would like to mirror to.
      2. In the TV's setting page, tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Mirror screen (Smart View).
      3. Tap Start now, and if needed, give your TV permission to access your device.

I hope these tips help! Should you ever have questions or need help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
