Nice TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice TV! 60 inch was hard to find in stores but buying through BB online made it easy - ordered on Friday and delivered, on time, Saturday morning. Ultra thin tv with great picture. Samsung plus is really nice too. . . almost like having cable. I recommend this tv for people who are in the market for a new one.

Very high quality!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing TV! The quality was mind blowing. To the point that everyone walking into our house immediately notices that we have a new tv (and mind you we had a pretty new tv prior to)! Can’t recommend enough!! Sound quality I cannot speak much to, we use a sound bar because we want bigger sound than tv speakers offer.

Great TV, issues as a streaming device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture quality. Seems to be well made. Only negative is the simplistic remote makes using streaming services convoluted. Alexa response is very spotting, making voice commands difficult. Adding or accessing apps is not intuitive, manual not much help. Browser needs work. On the other hand, AirPlay works fine. Best option may be a third party streaming device like Amazon or AppleTV as an addition. But for picture and overall quality, I can recommend this TV.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's Q60A TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback on the remote, as well as apps and voice commands. To add an app that is not currently on your Smart Hub, go to Apps, select which one you would like, and press 'Add to Home'.
The Q60A features built-in Alexa, Bixby and Google Assistant, allowing you to utilize voice commands on your TV. To give commands, you can press and hold the Microphone button on your remote, or you can give hands-free commands by enabling the Voice Wake-Up feature (Press the Microphone button > Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up).
To turn your TV on or off when Voice Wake-up is enabled, simply say "Alexa/Hi Bixby, turn on the living room TV".
When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please ensure you face your TV screen when speaking.
To assist you in learning your TV and remote's features, functions, and settings, please know you can download the Q60A TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website by clicking "Support" > "Manuals & Software" > "TVs & Home Theater" > "TVs". From there, you can select the Q60A TV under "4K QLED TVs” > “A Model Lineup" and download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Would buy again
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent picture quality. I got the 60” and this was the best tv for the size. I would have preferred an OLED tv however but they only come in 65 or 55, and I decided a few more inches was better than a slightly better picture. The side-lit pixels are apparent and initially annoying, but now I’m used to it. The app interface is good, again once you get used to it. Overall I’d buy again given the choices available.

nice picture, bad sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice crisp picture. We have a very bright living room so could use a little more brightness but works fine. Network and Apps were easy to set up and work fine. The sound is probably the worst I have ever heard from a tv and could not find a setting to fix it. Voices are raspy and hard to understand. Actually, spent more money for a sound bar. Bottom line, Other than sound, tv works great.

Bad remote
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little upset when I couldn’t get the tv to operate. After doing the troubleshooting and talking to a Samsung tech the problem was the remote was bad and you needed it to set up tv. It took 10 days for Samsung to send me a new remote. They should have expedited the remote. Once received the install went smoothly. The picture is great.

Why i bought a 60" TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV meets my needs. 60" TV's are about to be extict. Newer, better TV's come in sizes like 55", 65", 75" etc. I needed a 60" because it is the largest size to fit into a custom made cabinet. 55" too small. 65" too big.

Samgsung gets it right
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good tv bright colors and definition would reccomend, the remote could be alittle more user friendly, like the fact that it is solar powered,if you go on you tube and look at some 8k clips it explodes off the screen.

60" Samsung QLED
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality television for the price. Navigation is a bit quirky but it could be me. I seem to be having a source problem. It wants to change the source to the sound bar I purchased along with the television and it wants to use the Soundbar as the source sometimes. If I use Alexa it seems to work better. But good picture but not as bright as the last Samsung I bought which wasn't qled.

Posted .Gatorlover,
Thank you for purchasing Samsung's Q60A TV and for your review. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your TV defaulting to your soundbar as the source. Samsung TV's have Anynet+ (also known as HDMI-CEC), a feature that allows connected external HDMI devices to inform your TV when they have turned on. By default, the TV will immediately switch to this source when this happens. To turn off this function of a device connected to the TV, turn off the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function of the device: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = Off
Also, please make sure that your TV’s firmware is up to date. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the default brightness setting is not to your liking, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.
Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.
I hope these tips help. Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM -12AM EST M-F (9AM – 6PM EST Sat). Or text HELP to 62913.
