I absolutely love this TV. I was between the Sony and the Samsung and after talking with a Best Buy Home Theater Rep I settled on the Samsung. The picture on this TV is amazing. Very bright and very crisp. The motion is very smooth as I am sitting here watching the Packers/Falcons conference final. I was told by the rep the Sony might have a slightly better motion rate due to its processor but he said he doubts you would notice it. The connect on is pretty cool and easy to plug in. I velcroed it to the back of the TV to keep it out of the way. As for the sound, I use a soundbar but the factory speakers do sound pretty good from what I heard.

Loving how vivid the colors look. Amazing picture when 4K is view. Perfect for basketball and football season. Only downside is spotify is not an app choice. So pandora it is.

Saw it in the store and had to have it after reading the reviews online. This tv is a five. I do have one complaint and it is not with the TV, I asked how much it would be for the geek squad to come to my house and hang it, 300.00 dollars!, I read how the set up and remote were difficult to set up, and my husband and I are not strong enough or smart enough to set this thing up. This tv being 65inch is very heavy. So I came home and found a tv/ stereo place in town and they put it up for half the price and showed us how to work everything. They get a five also.

Sure, you can get lower end 4K tvs for less, but this tv has a good motion rate, a 10 bit panel (a VA panel as well) and a microscopic bezel among other great features. Combine this set with the calibration settings from rtings.com and it's a fantastic set. No issues watching sports, movies, etc from multiple sources. I'm not a huge fan of the move to the one connect mini box, as I already had everything run through my receiver and then to the tv with one HDMI. The one connect mini adds one extra step in the middle. Easy to wall mount, just keep in mind with the spacers you'll need M8 45mm mounting screws to attach to a wall mount.

I love it! Easy to use and such a beautiful screen! First movie we watched was Finding Dory and was amazed by all of the bright colors!

This TV is great. It has a fantastic picture and also had a great price. I got it on sale and we have been very happy with our purchase.

I must start this review by disclosing I haven't bought a TV in 17 year. My Panasonic 32 inch tube TV was working, not in HD but working. At the behest of everyone I know and every Brighthouse guy that walked through my door "hey lady... you know eventually we're not going to stream in analog anymore and this things not going to work". Shade from the Brighthouse guy started 2 months of research to find the best TV. This brings me to the Samsung 8000 series... in all my research I don't believe you can find better quality for the price. If you are buying only on price ... your going to end up with a Vizio and be disappointed like many I know and the reach I've done. Make sure your comparing all the features. That's where the Samsung is going to win every time. I started my research in early January. Most people believe Black Friday $1599 is the best time to buy. That's not necessarily true. I set alerts on my phone to track buying prices and the week of Super Bowl $1499 was as low if not lower price point. The big electronics show happens in February and they launch the next years models. So if you missed the price drop at Super Bowl be patient... many people buy and return it's a nasty consumer habit but if you've waited this long you don't want to take a chance on someone else open box TV. Let all those TV's clear the market and the last week in March / first week in April that's when the new sets ship to stores and they slash prices on last years models ... watch the inventory because once their gone there is no more. Retail price $2100 Purchase price $1489 on 4/4/17. Can you get a 65 inch cheaper? sure but will it have the quality of the 8000 series... probably not. If you missed the 8000 series this year the 9000 series is just as impressive. I'm a Dave Ramsey follower, I pay in cash and while 9000 series was not smart / affordable this year, take a look at its price February of 18.

Easy set up This tv has it all. Don't forget to buy a wall mount. You won't regret it. Football has never been better.

Walked into Best Buy just to browse and ended up going home to get my suv being as this would not fit into my car. Wasn't looking for a tv that day but couldn't pass up this one! Great price huge screen and thin! love the ultra thin bezzel! Great improvement from my 55 inch Polaroid! picture quality is great! and I'm blown away by the sound quality!!! I used to always turn on my sound bar with my old tv but I rarely use it now! I think I only turn it on for movies.

I love this tv. The color is so nice and bright and when I watch certain tv shows it seems like the characters are in the room with me .. it's so smooth and clean I love it.. the new updated apps as well is a plus .. u can have a PlayStation now subscription and play PlayStation games without the PlayStation alls u need is a controller. So sleek and for it to be a slim tv it's a bit in the heavy side but I don't care. Amazing is all I have to say .

I purchased 3 of these TVs after doing quite a bit of research. The TV itself is gorgeous. By far the nicest looking TV on the market. The Samsung Connect which I was concerned about turns out to be an awesome feature. Any time you want to add a game system or plug anything in you do not need to get to the back of the TV. The picture quality is terrific and the smart feature integration is the best I have experienced. The only reason I rated this TV 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had an issue with one of them after only using it 3-5 times. However Best Buy handled it wonderfully and the exchange process went smoothly.

The Tv is definitely an upgrade compared to the two 32" tvs we had in the other rooms in the house. The quality of the picture using rabbit ears and streaming is better than Comcast on our other tvs. I had a friend help me mount it on the wall and like many other reviews online said most of the normal sized machine screws are either too long or too short, so a few extra washers on a longer screw made it fit. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the edge light bleed at the bottom of the screen. In some cases I have to change the channel and go back to help reduce the light bleed.

This tv was everything and more than what the Best Buy guy told us it would be. I have owned many tv's and this is by far the best. Amazing quality of picture and apps. Customer service was great with Samaung too. I had a question on a setting and they helped me out perfectly. You just can't go wrong with the tv.

I had an older 40" Sony LCD from 2006 and, WOW! this TV is awesome. I didn't care about any of the apps because I already have an Apple TV and a blue-ray player, both of which have apps. Originally I was going for a 70" or 75" but after reading the reviews on many sites, this years really large screen TVs aren't so good unless you're willing to spend $5k plus. This 65" actually worked out perfectly for my living room and not only is it one of the top-rated TVs of 2016, unlike the new Vizio models, it's actually a TV, not just a monitor (they don't have a TV tuner).

The first tv was DOA. Rather disappointing but the 2nd tv was perfect and I do mean "perfect." I thought my previous 46" Samsung was great but this 65" KS8000 was a whole new definition of great. The key is HDR (High Definition Range). Even though there is still little 4K content available I can't believe it will be any better than this. It's a breeze to connect a DVD, Sound System or a streaming device like AppleTV. If you are hesitating, don't. You won't be disappointed. If you want the most recent 2016 Samsung TV look for a model with KS (JS is 2015).

Went back and forth between this and a Vizio for a bit less money. SO glad I chose the Samsung! Picture is the best I have ever seen and the images seem to jump off the screen. Very easy setup and the Smart hub is a very pleasant surprise. Spend the extra $$ and get this TV!!

The nicest tv I have ever owed. I use this tv for a pc monitor and for my PS4pro. 4k games look absolutely amazing played from my pc. Just make sure when buying a Samsung tv the version number says FA01. This is a genuine Samsung panel.

I did a ton of research before choosing this TV. The television is ultra thin and looks great hung up on a wall. ULTRA4K content from Netflix looks amazing and video games on the Xbox One look great especially when you put the TV on game mode. Like the one connect, makes it really easy when mounting the Tv since there are a lot less cables to snake in the wall. Overall great TV!

Incredible color and quality on this 65", 2160p 4K Samsung TV. I was blown away by the youtube videos I watched in 4K. Vivid color and detail. Thanks to being a smart TV, I have more options to watch videos, movies, etc. I chose to buy an ethernet cable although it was not necessary to be on the internet. It has wireless capability. I can even view my Motorola smartphone pictures on the TV. The included video cable made it easy to hook up other accessories. The only drawback I've encountered is when my son turns on his Wii U it changes the screen to his game. The Wii U of course have its own built in monitor.

Excellent TV little pricey. I had to geek squad installed on the wall did a nice clean job guys are very professional and they didn't take a tip.
