It took some time to tweak the picture, sound and other features to my liking but well worth the time. Overall, the picture is incredible but it's unbelievable when watching an UHD BluRay!

Had the tv for 3 weeks now and my only complaint is that I wish I bought the 75" instead. The tv is amazing in every aspect ,design, quality and performance at its best.

Putting in a new theater room, and wanted something not to big but enough. This 4K 65" tv is great. I feel I made the right choice, love the new tv one set up, having the separate control box for all the hdmi cords keeps cables out of the way.

Great TV but I had to exchange the first one due to a light bleed at the bottom of the TV. Pain to re-box and take back but got a brand new one and so far so good.

I purchased this TV just a few months ago( March 12th) and I was loving every minute of it up until I noticed a burnt out pixel. SO disappointing! Every time I watch a show where the scene is dark the burnt out pixel stands out and its sooooo aggravating to look at it. I didn't get the geek squad protection because I was so confident in the quality TV products Samsung produces. I will be contacting Samsung to figure out how to fix the problem. Such a shame that I spent almost $2,000 on a TV and this happens 2 month later.

Can't adjust the picture settings to get rid of the neon greens and reds we see. We have tried every combination of settings. When we turn on a soccer channel the field is glowing. Then other channels look ok. Very inconsistent colors.

This is the 2nd Samsung TV that has broke right outside of the manufacture warranty expiring. This is a $2000 TV that cant last more than a year and a half? I've had Tube TV's I bought at a garage sell last decades. Ha. Samsung TV's have fallen off picture quality, price, and support wise. Go with the LG line of TVs the picture is far better quality and their support is hands down the best in the business.

Excels/exceeds in all of our requirements

You can really drive yourself nuts with the decision making process, but after some lengthy research both on Best Buy and other TV review/rating internet sites, we feel we've struck upon the best 65" TV for our needs. We developed our "must have" needs list to narrow down the potentials line-up. In descending oder of priority, our hit list included: 1) must have a great picture with good screen uniformity and blacks 2) within a reasonable budget, 3) great upscaling of non-HD content (since were fans of the oldies too), 4) low light reflection, 5) a set that's pleasing to the eye when not watching TV, and last 6) with above average sound since we would probably want to add a sound bar/system anyway. We've had the Samsung 65" KS8000 for three weeks, watching it nightly for two to three hours, and it excels/exceeds in all of our requirements. Even its sound, which is pretty amazing - I've tried two quality sound bars/systems and have returned both because the sound benefit just was't enough to justify the added expense. I also really like the idea of the "Smart Hub" which really helps wire management to the set. One thing I wasn't crazy about originally was the sets feet. We have ours sitting on a large console and I thought I wanted a set with a central pedestal to be able to hide its wires, but with the smart hub we only have three wires (power, coax and LAN) running to the set and they can be run down and secured to the back of the "feet" to where you aren't distracted by they hanging down from the set. Works great and looks great! Other TV's that in the final line up were the Vizio P-Series and Sony X850. Both are fine TV's but we felt for our purpose the Samsung KS8000 was the best all-around selection and we are very happy with it.

I was going back and forth between this TV and the Sony 850d and ultimately decided on this TV based on reviews and this TV simply looks better and more sleek. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The picture looks great and the smart functionality and responsiveness is incredible. The universal remote is solid, and I almost exclusively use this remote to control the TV, home theater system and satellite box. For the most part the picture is pretty clear. Color and contrast are great (especially after calibration) and the TV can get very bright. After spending some time adjusting the settings that have an effect on sharpness/clarity I reached a picture that yields satisfying results. Sound really isn't as bad as I was expecting after reading multiple reviews saying the sound isn't great. Overall, I am very impressed with this TV and love how easy it is to switch from TV to apps to inputs. Not to mention this TV is arguably the best looking TV as far as hardware is concerned. Definitely recommended.

The Best Picture Quality I've Ever Seen

    Posted .

I have had this TV for about 3 months now and I think I am ready to give my review on this TV. Simply put, this TV has the best picture I've ever seen. Lot of people gave their praise about picture quality, so I'll list couple of features that I like about this TV. Navigating to YouTube, Netflix couldn't be easier. One button and you will all those streaming sources lined up horizontally. So to watch a programming on Netflix you just need 2 clicks on the remote. Watching 'House of Cards' on Netflix with this TV has been a whole new experience in TV viewing. I didn't understand the point of binge-watching, but I've been binge-watching 'House of Cards' myself just because of its amazing images on TV. Robin Wright might have to shave her tiny hair right above her upper lip. Same goes with YouTube 4K contents. I put nose against the screen to see if I can see the pixels. I couldn't. With regular HDTV, pixels are so obvious when you see the screen up close. Now my wife says regular HDTV doesn't look clear any more. 4K TV really spoiled my wife's eyes. Another great feature of this TV is the Media Hub. Just one connection of this media hub to back of the TV enables manipulation of HDMI cables that much easier, especially if you hang your TV on the wall like I did. The Media Hub is laid on the shelf and I could swap HDMI connection around without any difficulty. And the Media Hub has digital coaxial input, so if you have receiver that has digital coaxial audio, you can hear all the sounds coming from TV in surround mode. I thought about upgrading my ONKYO 7.2 receiver to 4K capable receiver, but I don't have to now. The digital coaxial on the Media Hub makes it unnecessary to purchase 4K capable receiver. The sound is fantastic with 3 year old ONKYO receiver. Since the sound is connected to the Media Hub from the receiver, whether you watch regular TV programming, YouTube, or Netflix, all the sounds are surround sound mode. Great feature. I would absolutely recommend this fabulous TV to anyone who's considering to plunge into 4K world of TV viewing.

This TV has a great picture regardless of what you are viewing. I've used it for 4K gaming on a Xbox One S and haven't noticed a bit of input lag. Yes HDR is available in game mode, so that's another plus of this TV. Ultra HD Blu-Rays and regular blu-rays look gorgeous with minimal changes to the TV settings. Outside of the picture this TV looks great. It's stand is not obnoxious and has two different positions to mount the legs. The bezel is minimal, but still looks good. Even the remote is a good thing, it's not so overly complicated that my kids can't use it. The worst thing that I can find about this tv is the sound out of the speakers. Honestly though who is going to buy a tv that's this expensive and not hook it to a good sound system. In other words a great tv that does everything you want it to, and doesn't break the bank.
