High quality picture makes even old movies show better. Great with blue ray and even better with the 4k movies. great for viewing from side without much loss of picture quality.

I love the TV but have been disappointed with my local cable service. When a sub-standard signal is being used, black screens are blanked with a last image that looks poor. This does not happen with 4K or 4K DVD signals. I did have an issue getting my remote to recognize the TV initally. I had to dig in the manual to work through the issue. I was stuck at the opening screen to pick my language. Ok did not work.

Upgraded to this tv from another Samsung (60") and the color definition and depth is far superior. This is our first curved TV and I can't say enough good things about it. The curve seems to give the picture depth. The only problem I have had is with the 4K from DirecTV. Samsung didn't put any inputs on the TV itself. It comes with a box that plugs into the tv and it has the connections on itself. When I plugged the 4K DirecTV receiver into the Samsung One connect box and tried watching TV the sound would sporadically cut out, but the picture wouldn't. After hooking and unhooking the receiver up different ways I found the Samsung to be the issue. For some reason it doesn't like the DirecTV receiver. I tried plugging the receiver into the Samsung Curved Sound Bar we bought with the TV but the sound bar doesn't allow 4K to pass through so you end up not being able to hook it up that way. Luckily I had a nice amplifier that allows 4k pass through and once I connected the DirecTV receiver into the amplifier, and then the amplifier into the Samsung TV's One Connect box, I had no issues. You'd think that a TV that is meant for 4K would have no issues with a piece of electronic equipment meant to broadcast 4k but unfortunately it does. When I asked the Samsung rep in the store about this issue he stated that he never heard of anybody having this problem. That's when I googled the problem and low and behold, there are a ton of people with the same complaint. Other than this flaw, the tv is great.

After upgrading from a standard HD TV to this is so much more of a difference then I thought it would be. The picture quality, sound, and everything is perfect once it is setup and configured right. If you buy this I would recommend looking up some configuration info for it to get the picture perfect. The issue with the apps is they sometimes freeze or become unresponsive. This happens mostly with Hulu and Netflix. I either have to exit the app and completely close it or in on extreme case I had to unplug and re-plug in the TV to reset the app. If they fixed this it would easy get its 5th star.

My husband and I love this TV. It's awesome to watch sports on-we watch a ton and hooking it up to our 4K UHD Player makes watching movies on this better than going to the movie theater. Samsung products are the way to go-our 3rd TV in a row from them and we've loved all 3! The picture is clear and at times almost feels like you're looking through a window when watching nature films. It's gorgeous.

This 65" Samsung SUHD television replaces a 2011 Samsung plasma tv. To say the picture quality is lightyears ahead of the plasma is an understatement. The brightness of the picture and considerable increase in screen resolution brings out so much more detail for movies and general viewing. Operation of the controls and wireless HUB is very intuitive. This is an "amazing" television.

We love our new TV. The picture is awesome. It was easy to set up ourselves into our surround system. It was lighter to carry than our plasma TV. Now we have more picture. Less frame on the TV. It is truly the cadillac of TVs.

On the supplied stand and approx 15" from the back wall, the sound is very good. The controls (remote and UI) are also very good. Backlights are sometimes noticeable in the corners - haven't yet been able to adjust those away w/ the backlight and brightness controls. Paid 1,500.00 or so less than a comparable-size OLED, so no complaints (till next year anyway).

Picture quality is awesome. Easy to setup. Up convert to 4K looks good.

We are so happy we made this purchase! Absolutely no regrets! The superior picture quality, clarity, color and options on this smart TV are amazing. We went all in and also purchased the Samsung curved sound bar and the enhancement of the sound makes this a true in-home theater experience! Don't wait any longer to purchase, as these two items are a winning combination!

Love everything. Great speaker in it. Love the curve so you can see the pic everywhere in the room. The picture is amazing. The colors and clarity.

Bought this tv with a lot of hesitation. Its not cheap, but I wanted an awesome tv. I wouldn't get the curved again. Not worth the hype. I also would get the cheaper 8500 model instead. For the extea $1,000 you can't even tell the difference between the 2, And it's not a 3d tv. Short version, I love the tv, but not worth the extra $1,000 over the 8500 model.

We are enjoying this TV immensely. We thought we might like a larger, curved TV to replace the 52-inch flat screen that had served us well the past four years, but this 65-inch curved TV is something else again. The TV was easy to set up and get going. Mounted on wall A nice addition to my home. Everyone who sees it is impressed.

So glad I spent a little more for the 65" curved SUHD HDR version. Picture is awesome whether watching over the air broadcasts through my Tivo Bolt or streaming 4k content from Netflix, Amazon or YouTube. I also got the Samsung soundbar and Samsung 4k bluray player. All work flawlessly to give true in-home theater!

This TV had excellent picture quality, but was actually too large for the 12' width of our room. If we were able to put in on the wall 20' away, it would have been perfect. Unfortunately Samsung doesn't have a 60" in this quality so we had to go down to the 55", which has a great picture, but seems small now... :-(

Some reviews have torn apart the display because of the side lighting. This is true for the perfectionists. For the average home viewer, this TV has a great picture and will satisfy your needs. The picture is huge and very clear. I watch motorcycle races and the bikes are nearly life size on this TV!
