I purchased the 65" Samsung to replace my 5-6 year old 55" Samsung and the differences are amazing. The built in smart apps are awesome, and I really love the smart remote that can be used to control everything from my surround sound, Apple TV, smart apps, blu Ray player. The HDR+ setting is awesome for any content. The game setting makes playing games on ps4 or Xbox 1 look and feel great. 4K content on Amazon Prime video, Netflix, and YouTube look incredible! Don't have a 4K blu Ray player yet but soon will!

I have owned several Samsung tv's, my first one was a 55inch 9000 series curved the first curved series to come out back in 2014,which I have hanging in my bedroom now, but I love this 65inch I purchased, picture is great!!!, my only complaint is the speakers, but overall it's a great tv!!!

Best tv i could've bought. Awesome picture, netflix youtube everything works perfect. When i first saw the control, i thought i was given a different one by mistake, but voice command on it makes all buttons on regular control useless. Very happy with purchase, worth the money spent on it

This is my third new Samsung TV in a year because I am upgrading at my main home and this for my winter home. It far exceeds my expectations. Everyone who watches a movie or program with me is amazed even though they don't have a critical eye as I possess. The curved screen really is better.

Wanted a bigger 4k TV so we bought this one. Great TV for the price but I'm already wanting to upgrade again!!

Pros: Easy to setup *Great picture, color, and contrast *Excellent smart TV apps available *Cool smarthub for navigating between sources *Remote changes with source to control other devices Cons: Randomly refuses to connect to Wi-Fi connection when turning on. May be because I don't broadcast my said. When it happens I have to set network settings up from scratch which is very annoying.

Love this TV. I know about our people don't think the curve is worth it. My TV sits directly across from large window. I had some Samsung flash panel that was replaced. The light is distributed more across the entire screen. I rarely notice the reflection. Best TV I have ever seen.

This tv is definitely state of the art. The picture is super crisp and the quality gets even better when you use a blu ray disc or watch netflix. I haven't had a chance to play a one of those new 4k quality dvd's but i would imagine that they'd look stunning. Extremely happy with this tv.

We debated getting the next step up in the samsung line for a $1000 more, but after many trips to the store and side by side comparisons, we just couldn't see a justifiable difference. It's a great tv and we're very satisfied.

So far I have not had any issues at all with this TV. It looks just as good with my satellite broadcast as it did in the store. I upgraded my satellite package to include the 4K channels, and it looks outstanding. Now I just need a 4K Blu-ray and I'm set. I would definitely buy this tv again.

All around good tv it's operating system is quick has good amount of features, I'm coming from an older F7100 which I loved and still do, but this k8500 colors are beautiful, blacks aren't as deep as an olet screen but you will not notice unless they are side by side, as for the no 3d I never really used it, I had the 7100 for years and only used the feature 2 times. You don't be disappointed with the k8500, the only thing you will need is a sound bar or sound system after that your good to go.

I can't say enough good things about this product. The picture is awesome, and the curved keeps it from catching the reflection of the large window in my Family room as my other 65' would catch it so bad you had to turn it during the day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new TV

I love watching sporting events because the details are much clearer. Movies on TV make us think we are watching them at a modern theatre. It lived up to the clarity we saw at our local Best Buy store. I may use some of the internet functions to watch subjects and instuctions on YouTube.

I have been waiting to buy this TV for a long time now and finally did it before Christmas. Merry Christmas to me! I love it! It looks so clear and nice and the fact that I can watch movies and the quality is so well is like I am in a movie theater! Love it, would recommend it to anyone!

This TV is great! Beautiful picture, volume, overall I love it. Only downside is there is no way to use it without the remote, not even a power button. Makes it a little difficult when you have a house full of teenagers and a sneaky two year old. Bring back the power button on the set!!!

I had seen this TV on displays at Sams but it did not compare to the picture we got at home. Great picture and great price.

Great graphics and picture, especially at night. Fully interactive menu that is easy to use with the remote, but I prefer to use a wireless keyboard for increase efficiency. Be sure not to have too many lights in the foreground as they may reflect onto the screen. All in all, a great buy!

This curved 8500 series Samsung 65" TV with a curved soundbar is awesome in every aspect of mine and my families viewing pleasure. Picture is vivid, color perfect and Yes, we can now see differentiated blacks in the picture. So far I cannot think of anything negative about this TV.

I'd kept my eye on the KS8000/8500 for nearly six months before finally pulling the trigger. I'm glad I did. This set is extremely bright with the best blacks you'll find on an LED lit tv in the entire 2016 model lineup. HDR gaming and video playback is incredible, as expected. The universal "smart remote" is a fantastic upgrade, despite running my AV gear via Harmony Elite - it's nice to have a fallback remote which my wife or 4 year old daughter can easily use to operate the set, and the handful of components which now automatically power on with the tv. Overall, my only complaint is a very minor light bleeding effect, isolated to a few small edges of the screen. Only noticeable in a truly dark room with no lighting whatsoever, and truth be told, not entirely unexpected for an edge lit set. The 2016 KS line is getting better reviews than the 2017 MU line. Let that sink in for a minute! Buy with confidence while these are still available!
