The first panel only lit up the right half of the screen. No big deal, replaced through best buy. Once I got a working panel I was unimpressed with the motion handling processing of this TV. There was a significant amount of judder, even playing with the motion settings for hours throughout the first week of purchase. If motion plus is turned on there are lots of artifacts that distract from the immersion of the beautiful picture. Also there is light bleed across the bottom of the tv that was distracting. The Tv also has blooming issues. I don't think this tv performs as well as it should for its price range. My buddies entry level LG that he paid 900 for seems to perform just as well as this set. As far as picture quality, it can look really really good after tweaking, however you will have to constantly tweak it based on what kind of content you're watching which is really time consuming and frustrating. For instance streaming an older movie through Netflix will require different settings, than a newer movie on Netflix. Input lag on games is only low if you use game mode, which removes all of the expensive features you paid for on this TV, and playing the games with these post processing features renders the game as nearly unplayable, as the input lag becomes too high (even for casual gaming). The TV does get REALLY REALLY bright, which is cool, however it doesn't look best at bright levels, and washes the picture out.

I only buy Samsung TV's & this one by far exceeded my already high expectations. The picture quality is amazing & the curve makes it a great view from any angle in my livingroom. I watch a ton of sports so I could not be happier with this tv & the great price I got it for. Highly recommend.

Upgraded from my 52" Samsung after doing lots of research. Like it is with cars, some people liked this some did not. I am a die hard Samsung TV lover. This picture is awesome. Feels like I am there. Set up was easy. Highly recommend that you have all your accessories hooked to the TV prior to starting set up. The TV with detect the item(Blu ray player, etc) and connect to it automatically. Out of the box, the picture to me was excellent and required very, very little tweeking. The only thing I did not like and I cut disabled was an auto dimming feature that detected the light in the room and if the light was low it dimmed the picture to lower that normal. No complaints, love this TV. I decided on the curved only because it was new and I thought I could see a little depth in the picture versus with the flat tv. I will never go flat again if possible. The remote is small and simple, unlike the old ones. Accessing the tv options is very easy and user friendly.

I purchased this 65" curved TV for my husband last Christmas to replace a 55" flat screen TV. We like this TV so much that when we had a chance to win a 65" flat screen Sony TV at my Office Christmas party, we weren't even disappointed that we didn't win, because he would not have used the flat screen TV, he likes the curved TV that much. Such a nice picture wherever you are sitting in the room.

This is by far the best television we have ever owned. You may ask, "Who needs a 65 inch tv?" We bought this one just in time for the superbowl. The super high definition picture is incredible. AND THE CURVED SCREEN is crystal clear no matter where you are seated. Well worth the extra $500 we would have saved for the flat screen. We are not rich folks, but this set is worth every penny. Every night is like a trip to the theater and the snacks and drinks are way better not to mention the company. It's nice to know you can still count on Samsung to deliver a product that may cost more, but is well worth it!

We've used this TV for a good month now. Like the colors, great picture, but sound is not great. Really needs a sound bar to make it work. The only other complaint is the remote doesn't work very well, but we use our FIOS remote for most things. It also won't recognize FIOS for some weird reason, and keeps telling us we use Direct TV (which we don't). FIOS still works, but we have to click on the Direct TV source button to get it to work.

Very, very happy with this TV. Like the curve, the size, the dynamic contrast, the resolution. Interface is nice and easy -- including the one-box. Like how the 4k programming from Netflix and other providers looks...and the up-scaled HD looks nice too.

I've waited a long 7 years for the next big TV purchase. After extensive research, everything kept leading me to the Samsung brand. I happened to be at another electronics retail store and noticed how sharp the Samsung curve tv looked. As soon as the Samsung 65" UHD curve 240GHz TV went on sale, I had to jump on it. Delivery was breeze as Best Buy accommodated the schedule of my choosing. Installation was also plug-n-play with some new 2.0 HDMI cables. The welcome screen was easy to operate to help get the TV onto my wireless network. The picture on this TV is simply amazing, especially when using the built-in apps, Netflix, Amazon and watching Ultra HD content. The traditional remote works great to also control my receiver and DirecTV receiver. The curve feature is awesome!! I've tested sitting on the sides of the TV and still have a great view.

I replaced a 10 year old SONY 60" 1080P HD TV with a 65" Samsung SUHD curved unit. What a difference! The resolution, brightness and overall image is outstanding. Some broadcast/cable programming still have visible anomalies when displaying black backgrounds. Those anomalies are not present with BR discs and 4K transmissions from Netflix and Amazon. I paid the premium to get a curved screen. I'm glad I did. To me, images on the curved screen seem deeper and more dimensional. It's a great complement to my Denon/Infinity 5.1 surround sound system.

Best 4K Tv for the price. Perfect picture. We were unsure on going curved, so glad we did. Looks super high end and delivers. Simple remote, easy to connect to internet. And easy to adjust settings. Couldn't be happier with our purchase

There is no other way to describe this television other than REMARKABLE! The view is perfect, the color is perfect, the curvature is perfect. You can see everything from all angles. I do not know why we waited so long to purchase this!

Purchased my Samsung UN65KS8500 and it is a great TV. I cannot think of anything to complain about this TV. The colors are bright and the black is black. The best I have ever seen. I have been having a small problem, but it isn't caused by Samsung (I don't think), but I have Directv and am getting a message pop up that states, "This TV doesn't protect the content and to switch from the HDMI cable to Conponent cables". I had a Directv tech come and check it out and Directv believes it is a software glitch. Hope to get it solved soon. But this TV is the best one I ever purchased. I am really pleased with it. Oh yea, there was a $200.00 price drop and Best Buy gave it back to me. I like dealing with the people there.

Love this TV! Great picture and size! Easy to use apps

I just want to start off by saying wow. I was eyeing the 65JS8500 (2015 model) which got a ton of great reviews, but I am glad I waited for the 2016 model. The ultra-slim bezel makes the tv look like a center piece when the tv is off. I was a little skeptical about curved but I am a fan now. I don't see much picture degradation when sitting left/right of center and it looks great. Over all the picture quality is better than I expected. I was able to compare this to other TV's in the same price range side-by-side at a local store and the overall picture quality, colors, and brightness on the SUHD surpassed all others. The content that was playing was HDR content and this TV being rated at HDR1000 you can see the difference between another tv that was HDR compatible.

This TV has an absolutely gorgeous picture. The feature set is amazing, I think it's smarter than I am! The only issue I had was with the mount, and that is not the fault of the TV. Be aware, the back of the TV is curved, and most mounts will need longer screws, at least. The screws are difficult to find, too, being metric and in high demand (probably because others also need them to mount curved TVs). I did get longer screws and spacers, but it's something to be aware of. Be sure to let the Geek Squad know about this, to ensure they have the right hardware if you have them install the set. Having the correct screws is very important to keeping the set secure on the wall. This is the nicest TV I've ever had, I am delighted with the picture quality and features.

I wanted to go big this time and have a good screen on my living room which is pretty bright. The curve on the TV is noticeable (the bigger the screen the bigger the curve) which gives a really nice immersive feeling and helps out with reducing the glare on screen. The speakers on the TV are ok, nothing really astounding. The processing power on the TV is incredible, compared to the curve TV we have on our Bedroom and the other Samsung flat screen on the guest room the difference is obvious. Once you input a command in the small and simplified remote unite the TV responds immediately making it very convenient. Connections are plentiful, the only observation i have is that i wanted to connect a nintendo wii to the TV using the composite cables (5 cables) but the TV designers got rid of this input so it was impossible. Overall its a really good TV and i higly recommend it.

Beautiful picture and super easy to use with remote.

The picture quality is unsurpassed for bright or dark rooms. I can view the TV perfectly from my kitchen which is 40 feet. Super easy to use and connect with universal remote. We would buy this tv many times over!!
