Great TV! A beautiful piece of viewing equipment. Technology all works great. Very intuitive and easy to use. Love the single remote that seemed to effortlessly (on its own) link up with all other media room equipment.

I have been shopping for a new TV for the past 4 or 5 years. I have read a little over a hundred reviews and watched almost as many youtube reviews. I have a plasma 58" HDTV and I bought it at Best Buy about 11 years ago and the pic is still great. Samsung makes an awesome TV so, I knew my next TV was going to be the same. I decided on the curved only because it wouldn't fit; if it was flat. Its in a corner mount and has limited space. Easy setup and looks magnificent; WOW! The picture quality is none other than amazing; that being said the screen is glossy and will reflect other bright sources within your room. The only issue I have is so far the smart remote might be too smart. Note: (I have only had this TV for about a couple of months.) All in all I felt it was the the most TV for the money I spent and so far still Awesome. No regrets on my decision.

This TV is out of this world! The picture quality and color is fantastic! You won't be disappointed if you choose this television. It's smart features cover all the bases from wireless internet to the multiple number of apps you can add. I wrestled with the decision to purchase a curved TV but glad I did. This can be viewed from any angle of the room you have it in with the same clarity. I highly recommend this TV.

I did my homework and watched this TV in store and knew one day I would purchase this TV. At first I didn't think I cared if it was a Ultra 4k but was I wrong. Samsung curved SUHD 8500 series TV has the best picture ever this TV is so awesome. This is my favorite TV purchase to date, thanks to the sales person Alec in Maple Grove he was patience and very, very good at his job he knew all information on every TV OUSTANDING SERVICE. If your looking for a TV and great service ask for Alec he won't disappoint you and you'll get a nice quality TV. Very happy with my purchase! I even helped another customer make up their mind on a TV because of the knowledge I knew about some TV's from Alec and they purchased that same day too.

I had considered purchasing a new 4k for a few years but didn't want to pay the new tech prices , after all my 1080 HDTV was still going and looks pretty good right . So as I am leaving the store I see these units in boxes on sale , SO Impulse buy , it should look a little better than the one I have now . WRONG , It looks 10 times better .The brightness is so vibrant .Motion is Flawless and blacks are deep and rich I truly got chills as I watched my first Ultra HD Movie .It feels like your on set with the characters . The awesome remote is a Bonus , set up is easier than any other electronic I have ever owned easily syncing itself to Direct TV and wireless networks PLUS the curve adds a little extra cool factor . No buyers remorse here , I love it !

I spent much time comparing LG, Vizio, Sony and Samsung, then comparing the 8000 and 8500 series sets before making a purchase. The 8500's curved screen just pulled me into the images more, and once set up in my living room the impact of the minimalist lines, the gentle curve and the brilliance of the picture are appreciated by anyone who has seen this incredible set. Highly recommend this Samsung.

Clean design presents a display with crystal clarity, dynamic color and contrast, and a responsive full-featured software load that integrates broadcast and streaming sources into a smooth, intuitive viewing experience. Games and movies alike look amazing. The gentle curve provides a consistent image to even the most oblique seat in the room. It takes a little tweaking to dial it in for personal preferences, but it's easily managed if the stock setting options aren't to your liking.

I purchased this TV after comprehensive research on consumer report which I am a member. I won't purchase unless they are " recommend" by CR!! This tv has not disappointed!! Great picture, easy interface, easy to figure out, I have it running through my Pioneer AVR VSX52 with Def Tech pro cinema 1000- great sound! I will have it calibrated thru geek squad for optimum performance! Waited for my price $1423! These were selling for almost 3k 8 months ago!! SCORE..

The Tv I recently purchased is a perfect fit for my entertainment system. The curvature of the tv has a great affect on the senses. The sound quality is overall great as well. The functionality to be able to watch Netflix, Amazon and other features makes this tv worth having. Great price and great setup team too. They went over all the feature in depth so that I may have a better understanding of my new tv. Overall I am pleased with it and the service provided.

Love this TV! Hung it on the wall and replaced an older 42" 1080p TV. I originally wasn't sold on the curved screen over flat screen until I went into Best Buy and compared them side-by-side. Picture quality is amazing with a bit of tweaking of the settings. Hooked an Xbox One S up to this for 4k media also. Very pleased with this purchase! It was $100 cheaper a couple weeks after purchase and Best Buy quickly issued a refund for the difference as well.

Still working great at over 6 years old. Picture quality is still perfect.

This TV replaced a 46" plasma purchased in 2006 that finally quit, so my comparision to that TV is really just unrealistic. That being said, our friends who have purchased more recent TV's (all within the last 3 years) say this TV picture blows their's away. I got the curved not for any viewing benefit other than I had read online it would help with those blind spots from windows and doors reflecting on it. It does practically eliminate those for us. This may be very room layout specific though. Another bonus was I signed up for Playstation now and get to play a good bit of PS3 games without any console. I couldnt be happier with it. Be advised it is a large TV. When i was sliding it out of the box my wife said "That's too big." So be forewarned!!! It doesn't look that big in the store when its hanging next to similar sized TVs. She loves it now too though. Our couch is 8 feet from it and it works fine. If it were any closer it may be a bit too much though.

So I was looking at getting a bigger TV for the living room. Had been looking at Samsung products for over a year and then a great sale happened so I went for it. Prefect picture! Had to play with the modes to get the best one for shows and gaming. The curve is a nice feature cause now I can see the TV from the kitchen. I don't you the built in audio. Haven't really used the smart features yet but there are a lot of them! I would totally buy another!

I bought this TV to replace my old Samsung 65" 1080P DLP TV. Wow is all I can say. The color on the TV is great. I had to turn down the picture settings because my Xfinity feed was too low (Yes I pay for HD from Xfinity) The TV was lagging trying to up tune the picture. The curved screen is great if you're sitting directly in front of it. From the sides, the picture looks funny because it's curved. I [robably wouldn't but a curved TV again.

At first we were not interested in the curved TV, but after discussion and viewing at the store, we learned the curve is actually better for angle viewing, which it has turned out to be. The picture is extremely clear and sharp. We had Best Buy come out and tune it. We did change the picture to movie mode, as the other modes did not far well for certain things such as the grass in a world cup soccer match. Overall we are very pleased with the TV.

The smart hub is prett amazing, and the remote (while very simple looking) is amazingly functional. Sort of like the Apple TV remote. Picture is as beautiful as you'd expect from Samsung. Is the curve a game changer? Nah, but it's a nice touch... it looks pretty 'futuristic' and if you sit relatively close, it can give you a bit of an IMAX effect

Great TV. I don't have cable; but antenna TV looks awesome too! Love the "guide" feature. Great color depth and overall picture. The curved TV looks great hung on the wall, a lot better than I thought it would. Be careful of light reflecting in the background. A curved tv like this one will distort and reflect any light opposite of the tv screen-- and it distorts the light horizontally, so it can be very annoying and distracting.

Love this TV. Was easy to set up. Was happy I did not have to go out and buy a new entertainment center to fit this large of a TV. The brackets can be placed in closer allowing it to fit nicely on my current entertainment center. The curve is perfect and makes very nice to see from any place in living room. This picture is excellent!

My last 3 TVs have been Samsung. Have always been impressed and this one is no different. The curved effect is pretty cool and you really do get great picture at angled views. This is my first 4K and honestly can't say I see too much difference but to be fair there is not too much 4K material on TV. And I haven't really watched much of the streamed 4K programming like Netflix yet. Overall fantastic TV and great value.
