Have a similarly-sized Insignia TV in another room and I'm blown away by how much better the picture is my new Samsung. Set up was somewhat of a hassle due to need to create and login to a Samsung account, which didn't want to work on the first four or five tries. Smart TV apps are much improved over an earlier Samsung TV I own, but there are still limitations. British soccer in the US is owned by NBC, so you need new Peacock app to view some games - no way to do that through Samsung at this point, so I still need to connect my Roku. Netflix, Sling and Amazon Prime work great, though. Interested to check out the 4K features, but without upgrading my Netflix account, not sure where to get 4K content. Off-air digital TV still 1080k at best in my city. Will say that the 'upcoding' of HD signals looks pretty good. And though this is only a 60 hz TV, the motion software Samsung has does a good job with moving images. Been using this for a month now and so far I really love it!

You need to use the expert or custom settings for best picture quality. It's price is perfect at 650 dollars. The software on this TV could be improved a lot. For example, saving each custom settings group under different names.

GOOD PIC for the price but LOUSY INTERFACE

The interface will make you nuts. You cant tell what is being highlighted and it scrolls un-intuitively. There is lag on the remote when moving around the screen so it freezes and then jumps over multiple items. The remote buttons are too small and arranged in terrible positions. You will constantly be pushing the wrong buttons. But like I said, good pic for the money - so just get apple tv, or roku, or chromecast so you dont have to interact with Samsung's totally frustrating smart tv interface. Samsung should be ASHAMED of itself for putting this crap out on a it's products - oh and the Tizen OS is a pain in the butt and the app availability is a joke - but yes a good pic for the price.

Picture quality is awesome! This TV has been amazing. Easy to use. A few small features I would change but other than that it powers on quick, response quick, looks great. Also the free channels you get from Samsung is a great bonus!
