However, the Tiezen operating system is incredibly slow, inconsistent, and prone to just straight up not working. As I type this, this TV will not open any streaming application, and I’ll likely have to reach behind the TV and unplug to to do a hard reset, as I had to do the last time. If you do purchase this TV, I highly recommend purchasing a 3rd party media player like a FireStick or AppleTV, which will use up one of the two available HDMI ports.

I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV.
Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound.
Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care
You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update. (1420.0 released on 1/5/21)

Spend the extra $300 on QLED TV.

I’m upgrading from a 5-year-old 55” 1080p Samsung TV, so this was a big step up for me. However if you have an extra $300 to spare, I’d definitely go with the QLED TV. I wish I did.

Smart features on point switches to a different mode when i'm playing my Games or watching netflix, crunchy roll or funimation to optimize both. There is a build in tv service thats free 99. It can also pick up and run on a 5G wifi signal unlike the previous seres with an ethernet port in case you like your system hardwired. An app for your phone so you can stream things from your devices to the Tv. If I had one complaint it would be adding an extra HDMI port and more than one option for sound output not everyone needs just an optical out. There are many choices out there and this is a very solid choice for the price point and beyond.

The new one is much lighter, the colors are amazingly sharp and clear. Plus it is a smart TV, which we like a lot.

The remote button placement is also not great. Easy to miss the button. The password entering is weird also with the strange x or check that appears when you choose a letter or number.

The modem is right next to tv. It’s a little slow going from different “apps” on tv.

I recommend checking to see if your TV is up to date with the latest Firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there.
I also recommend utilizing the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.

Have an issue with getting it to recognize the router that everything else has no issue with. The in-store saga of getting this product is sad... I ended up looking up my own information and dragging the product up to the front on my own. The manager at the front was nearly useless. (He called over an employee from a different department that couldn't help me. FOUR people in phones, but ONE in Tvs? Excellent management skills...) Anyway, it's a Tv, doing what a Tv does.
