Understand they are designed more for home use. Picture on them is great but the offices I have put these into, if you connect them to the internet they will start playing samsung TV which would be fine if they were for home use but not good for an office or conference room. They do great with screen mirroring from laptops which was their primary intended use. Quick and easy to change the names of the TVs and then it makes it easy for someone to connect to the display and it prompts for a confirmation so that random users can't try to take over the display without permission.

I was given some (what I should have realized at the time) talk about needing an optical cable for connection. Of curse they did not have such a cable at the time. No worries I was mostly streaming at the time. Fast forward a couple of years and lo and behold there is no optical connection for the tv. It is a defective television with no CATV connection at all. I am thoroughly disgusted with this experience. It was unnecessary. Just admit you gave me a defective set and replace it. Instead I am led to believe I am only a rare/hard-to-find optical cable away from TV nirvana. Thank you Best Buy! outstanding Customer Care

I'm glad you reached out to let us know about the issues you are experiencing with your TU7000 TV. Please know we are here to help.
The TU7000 TV does have an ANT IN and Optical cable port on the back of the TV. The ANT IN, where you will connect your coax cable, is below the HDMI 1 Port and the Digital Audio Out Optical Port is right above HDMI 2.
Next, if your TV is shutting off on its own, try these troubleshooting steps:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Nice TV at a great price

It comes with a lot of extra channels built in, via streaming. That's a nice bonus considering I only use an over-the-air antenna. I was a little disappointed I couldn't get some of the apps to work, like Discovery+ and Sling, so I still have to use my FireStick and Chromecast. Netflix app did work on this TV. Occasionally when I change channels I get squiggly lines (saw this in other reviews as well). But I can change the channel then change it back and channel comes in properly again. Also sometimes there is a lag when using remote. Overall I think this is a nice TV with a nice picture and sound and love the streaming channels built in.
