This review is almost exactly the same as I wrote for the TU8000. I purchased that one and then decided to get a bigger screen and sold the TU8000 and bought a new TU7000 instead. These are very similar TVs. This TV was replacing an old 32-inch Samsung model with Full HD. I'm not any kind of AV authority, but I love the picture. Coming from a lower resolution, the difference is striking. The sound quality isn't exactly amazing, but for me it's perfectly adequate. My old TV had terrible sound and I had it connected to external speakers. This one has better sound and I didn't bother with the speakers this time. The apps are a lot faster than on my older model. I had bought a Fire stick for the old one because the apps were so slow to load. One downside to this TV over my prior one is that this one will not play as many different types of video files. If you download videos, this could be a concern. I can't recall which ones don't work except MKV. On my old TV I could watch those from a usb drive and on this one I get an error. I got converter software to deal with this issue. The TU7000 is nearly $200 cheaper than the TU8000 at the 65-inch size. They have the same picture and sound systems, so the viewing experience is the same. The difference is that the TU8000 offers some features that are not included on the TU7000. After owning both, those features weren't worth the $170 plus tax for me: *The TU8000 has a nicer remote that includes a mic for voice control and few buttons. The TU7000 has an older style remote that has a lot of buttons and no mic. I prefer the TU8000 remote, but it has a harder learning curve. I decided to just use my Fire Stick on the TU7000. The Fire Stick has a remote that is similar to the TU8000 remote, with fewer buttons and a built-in mic. You can also use an Echo product for voice control. *The TU8000 lets you use the TV in ambient mode, which displays art or photos on the screen when you're not using the TV. The TU7000 doesn't have that feature, but it doesn't really appeal to me, so I didn't mind giving it up. *The TU8000 has three HDMI ports and two USB ports. The TU7000 has two HDMI and one USB. I use HDMI for my Fire stick, DVD player, and cable box. I got an HDMI switcher for one port on the tv for $10. There is a difference between an HDMI switcher and a splitter (the splitter costs more, for one). Research these before purchasing. I don't need a second USB port, so that was fine.

Great color and fun to have such a large screen in a huge room. (I'm not sure that I would like it in our family room where you sit closer to the tv.)

I brought this TV one year back, so far working seamlessly without any issues. Great sound and picture quality.

Overall it’s pretty good. It does not have a good processor, so I used with Apple TV. Good for watching TV series and playing video games. It was hard to watch some TV series (e.g., the Rings of Power) with dark backgrounds but it’s a budget TV.

Great TV with a beautiful picture. It also has an incredible price point for a 65" 4k TV. To upgrade to a 75", you have to pay nearly twice the price. To upgrade to OLED, you need to pay at least three time the price. For me neither of these options justified the exponential price increase, especially when I am sure 8k TV's will be this price in four years. The picture is great and the way this TV integrates with smart home systems is incredible. Did experience some picture color issues until the TV updated its firmware. Once it updated the firmware, no more issues.

Great picture and easy to use. The remote is a little small, but very functional. Set up was easy if you follow the steps.

I really like this tv so far. It has a very good picture. It is thin and the frame is very small. The smart features are great, but the interface could use some more R&D to be easier to navigate. The remote needs programmable buttons to quickly go to apps. The remote is difficult to read and is impossible to use at night without a light on. You would think Samsung would have integrated backlighting into it. The rear firing speakers are useless, but this was expected. Paired with the cheapest Samsung sound-bar fixes that issue. Overall, I think it was a good purchase for the price.

Beautiful display colors. I love the sound quality on this tv which is louder and has surround sound base on it.

Love my tv, i just love anything that’s Samsung to be honest lol, but tv is good quality every tv in my house is Samsung and I’ve had no problems

This television is for the price a quality purchase. It has features that baffles me. I am old school mind you. The picture is very good.

I was looking for something that had a nice picture and wouldn't break the budget. This screen does the jib and then some.
