Solid TV

Sound is solid for the price point, but I'd opt for a really nice soundbar, but again, can be used without. Built-in apps are up-to-date, tv itself is lightweight, remote is light and easy to navigate. Only thing I could complain about the TV is the inability to automatically turn off when not in use, the shortest setting for such is about 2 hours.

Great TV for a budget.

We bought this TV on sale as an upgrade for our Samsung 42". We're not super fussy about a high end home theatre, though we've been satisfied with this product. On all honesty, I haven't noticed any picture shearing, or other artifacts regardless of the input (streaming, BluRay, etc) Three minor gripes I have are 1) that the menu is a little overloaded and I find myself preferring the menu on our roku stick. 2) The other issue is that our Samsung BluRay player is not syncing well with the TV. You would think both being Samsung products they would synergistically work, but for whatever reason, we can only access the BluRay discs in the player, and not external memore plugged into BluRay player. At some point I will have the time to try and access the memory directly though the TV, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. 3) I had to buy additional hadware (bolts) in order to attach this TV to my wall mount. Also keep in mind that the bolts you need to buy are metric. The instructions could simply just tell you all the dimensions for the bolts, but they decide to give you the diameter and threading, but use a confusing diagram for the length. i.e. makes it look like you need longer bolts than you actually need.
