Started my search for the best economical options of the latest HD TV's in the market and oh man was it time-consuming and confusing since there are so many options out these days. My issue was a small bright living room space where I was putting up this new TV. I shortlisted 2 TV's (1)Samsung SM65, 8000 series and (2) LG nanocell 65. I first bought Samsung but end up returning it since it showed a lot of reflection and ceiling light when on. Don't get me wrong it was an excellent TV, just did not fit my expectations and need. Then I switched to LG nanocell 65 and reckon I was amazed. It just did not help the reflection with its anti-glare feature, one of its kind since majority of the TV's these day show lot of reflection unless you jump up the high end Samsung Q90. LG also had a better 240motion rate, better brightness and colors. I am glad I was able to make the switch as I like this better. Thank you Best buy!

Good TV, very smooth and easy to navigate. 120hz refresh rate give seamless picture quality.

Setup for this television was quick and very easy. We use a flat panel OTA for love television and as soon as everything connected it detected more stations than we had on our previous set. There are multiple default apps available and dozens more that can be easily added on. The simple remote is easy to use and can be configured to operate multiple peripherals. Text is crisp and clear and the colors are true to life.

This TV was an excellent upgrade and has lots of great features. The picture quality was better than expected with minimal adjustments needed out of the box. Of course, I messed with all of them to get it how I like it. We have it mounted in a really bright room and have had no issues with the quality. The UI for apps is also nice and easy to use compared to others I've had in the past. Would definitely recommend this series 8.

Holy amazing picture! Our other Samsung wasn’t that old, but WOW what a difference. Watching anything on tv seems as though you’re looking directly through the camera lens , so life-like. We didn’t purchase an fire sticks or Roku, just using it as it came...all apps seem to work well except Sling...constantly kicks us out. The sound on the TV itself is just ok, we purchased the sound bar and it’s awesome—so I recommend purchasing that with the Tv.

It’s so SMART! I don’t watch tv much but this screen makes me feel like I’m at the theater! It’s BUG & clear! The sound is great! It has a lot of options/apps! I love listening to music, I no longer have a stereo since we have phones and external speakers, Alexa, etc. but the speakers on the tv are much better than the Alexa & external speakers so that’s nice! and there are different music app choices too.

I've owned this TV for a couple of months now. No problems. It has great color for my standards and I enjoy it the way it came out of the box. I haven't tried to tweak it because I just haven't felt the need. I watch movies, DVDs, sports and regular shows (not a gamer) and they all come through to my expectations. Samsung has higher resolution TVs if you're into that, but this is a great TV for the things I listed above. I would definitely recommend this TV.

This TV has a great picture. Easy to set up. I am also happy to connect wirelessly to my Bluetooth speaker.

We love our new tv! Such great color & clarity. We went with a larger tv so my husband can see it better.
